Monday nights are about to become all about Spurs for the next few weeks. Leicester play their games before us and our first test is a tricky one away at Stoke City.
The size of the test will depend on whether the bubble blowers have done us a favour this lunchtime at Leicester.
It could be a case of cutting the gap back down to 7 points or having the chance to reduce the arrears to 4.

We still have to focus on winning our remaining games and hoping for that Leicester slip up.
Stoke are no pushovers and are chasing a highest ever Premier league finish and the added prize money that brings.

They will try to stifle Spurs but we have more than enough quality to get all 3 points and keep the pressure right on at the top of the table.

For now it's over to the Spammers.

    Predicted line up:

Lloris, Walker, Rose, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Eriksen, Dembele, Dier , Alli, Lamela, Kane.

    Come on You Spurs!!!

So a small glimmer of light appears , could have been even more bar a dodgy last sec penelty but it's a start ... Of course it means nothing if we don't do our own job tomm night but it's certainly an opportunity to make a step in the right direction ... Not sure what to expect from this Stoke side , I don't think their what you'd call a typical Stoke side but it's not a place Spurs would have had much joy in the past ... It's now or never for us this time , we have to take this opportunity to close the gap and put some pressure on ... Going to be hard on the old nerves but fingers crossed we get the 3 points and keep this contest alive going into final 4 games ... Just a side note but lots of commentators kept saying Leicester needed to loose 3 games going into today which of course was nonsense given our goal diff , 1 loss + 2 draws would of course be adequate as long as we do our own part ... Hopefull we take our first step towards that tomm ... C.O.Y.S .....

Leicester are no Barcelona but if they can imitate the Catalan's recent form it would be good.
I hope it's not wet and windy at Stoke, or a Foyesque performance by the ref, otherwise we just have to play up to standard and the three points are ours.
I would leave Lamela out of that starting line up - after one good game he usually goes missing for the next three or four.

Okay it could have been better, but I'll settle for Chlski getting taken apart, Vardy off and banned for the Swans, plus those two draws. Looking forward to the Arse N Vinegar post match interview....
Not been great for my blood pressure though.

A lot has been said this Season about this not being a typical Spurs side, tomorrow night is HUGE!!!! We must capitalise!!!!

3 points will certainly crank the heat up on Leicester especially with their talisman now out, there's still a glimmer but we must win to keep it alive.

    Morning all...
Felon, huge almost not a big enough word for it....I feel nervous now, after yesterday.
Part of me wants Stoke to play as they have of late, indifferently, but more importantly we play like it's like the Cup Final used to be, or us beating WH and MC 4-1.....be your best lads.
Imagine this....win tonight and Monday, Foxes draw with Swans thanks to Siggy scoring. That leaves us just one win away from them, with their finish.....it's not just a dream, it's close, very close.
