I think it's fair to say that's it now. We had to win every game and a draw was simply no good tonight. Leicester now need just 3 points to win the Premier League and can do that with a win at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Should they lose, then Spurs can at least keep a fair glimmer of hope alive with a win at Stamford Bridge but in reality it's hard to see anything other than a Leicester Title now.

The long term future of Spurs is bright and Daniel Levy now has to do just one small thing. Keep the manager and he squad together and we go for the title again next season. Obviously we need to strengthen but we must now build on this. This is a talented squad with bags of style and work rate. With Poch and this squad we will achieve success.

The performance tonight was frustrating. We hit the woodwork 3 times and a rare Lloris mistake cost us the game. At this level it's all about fine margins and sadly we were on the wrong end of those margins this evening.

West Brom played well and were tough and in the second half they worried Spurs and the nerves set in. Passes started to go astray and it just wasn't our night. Ultimately, perhaps it wasn't our season.

The faint glimmer is still there. It's over to Manchester United to allow that glimmer to perhaps shine a touch brighter.
As it is, I sadly think the gallant effort may be over.

It's still a case of come on you Spurs!

Glad to be out of our misery now. Second is a great achievement nonetheless..
Missed a trick at 1-1 when dier went off injured not to move alli alongside dembele and bring son on moving eriksen to the no 10.

    It's over.

Best chance of a League title in decades done and dusted.

In perspective we are on course for finishing with our highest points tally (just) in the worst Premier League in living memory.

We need much better quality going forward, too much of our dominance fizzles into nothing.

Our team spirit and effort is a breath of fresh air post Avb and Tim but we've still got hurdles to go.

Really disappointed with the result tonight but gotta look on the bright side CL football next season and finishing above the Scum.

Finally well done to Leicester fully deserved!

Absolutely devastated. I just hope we can finish second now.

Tonight will be a huge blow to the squad and they will need to pick themselves up for Chelski.

Win there (for once ffs) and I will feel marginally better come Monday evening.

The announcers and commentators for this game on the American broadcast got it right. This was the slip-up banana peel type game, and not even really much Spurs could do about it. You have Tony Pulis who seemingly takes more pride in watching another team fail than his own team succeed, and you had the league's oldest and presumably most experienced side going up against its youngest.

And to West Brom's credit, in the second half, they opened the game up when necessary and played Pulis' favorite formation of 9-1-0 when necessary.

From a Tottenham perspective, you hit the woodwork three times and you score when none of your guys touch the ball. As the players and coach have said, "that's football"

credit to West Brom.....Pulis must have given them hell at half time....because they were a proper team second half. ...probably telling each of them to get under Alli's skin! .......we might not have seen the end of his 'punch'

it was always going to be a huge hurdle to claw back that many points. I guess mathematically it isn't over....but I can't see Leicester losing 3 (or us winning 3. ...the chavs will be a really tough game now. heads will be low)

so....well done Leicester. any other league positon for us and I'd have been cheering them all the way.

We got Pulis-ed ( again ) in the 2nd half I'm afraid .. Gutted for everyone involved .. You just had that sinking feeling when we kept hitting the damn woodwork .. Once they started to abandon the bus and come out , it was a diff game and we didn't handle it well for some reason .. That's the type of situation Leicester have coped very well with over the last couple of months and it's one of the main reasons there going to be champions .. All credit to them they fully deserve to be where they are against all the odds ... Hopefully we,ll pick ourselves up and finish the season off well and clinch 2 nd ... It's been a crazy one guys , it's going to take a while to digest what actually went on over the last nine month's but there's plenty of time for that , it's been some buzz , some journey and hopefully we'll get another crack at it in the coming years ... As always C.O.Y.S ..........

Can't help feel this has been a missed opportunity. We bottled it tonight, simple as that. However, this "experience" will benefit the squad for future.

Credit to Leicester, but I stop there. I don't care about them; I care about our club, our future and that's it.

I think it is imperative we hold on to Poch, do not sell and invest in the summer.

Now, go and take 3 points from the Bridge and secure 2nd!

Not our title now, too many draws and a few games we should of won easily but lost! Pity as was a real opportunity this season to clinch top spot.Need to ensure we get at least 3 points from our 3 remaining games, probably 4

Congratulations to Leicester for winning the premier league and showing its not all about the money.
If we are to be champions in years to come, as I believe we can be with this squad, then we simply must take a leaf out of leicesters book and learn to grind out results in matches like this one.
I am so proud to support this Spurs team, we came so close this season, next season we must bring in some game changers for the bench

    This is imperative!

We are going to need a Cover RCB, DCM a forward with Pace and a Quality Striker.
Certain players ie Bentaleb, Carroll etc need moving on.

has anyone been keeping up with Dominic Ball (currently on loan at Glasgow Rangers). to be honest I haven't...hence the question....but it appears Pochy is very keen to bring him back to be Dier's back-up.
apparently...and okay it is in Scotland....but he's a pretty decent CB playing really well at DM.

I blame Lamela !! He begged for that ball off Eriksen, pointed to where he wanted it , got it and missed an open goal !!! He cost us the win !! Too much fancy stuff, not enough basic football. ' My Wendy could've scored that' echoing the words of Harry R. Lamela wasted a golden chance! End of !!

That was the Spurs that I have known and loved for the last 50 years. A win would have guaranteed 3rd place and CL football and we blew it - better though than blowing the title against Newcastle I suppose!
Unfortunately instead of looking up at Leicester we now start to look behind us and the three games remaining suddenly look daunting.
I blame the Europa League for last night's performance.

Lamela infuriates me at times, the fancy things he does never are used to influence a game the only use he is to the team most of the time is running around busy but that's it.
Son has been disappointing aswell he started off like he was going to be a big player but he's fizzled out into a very average sub (maybe 1st season syndrome)
Chadli hasn't been very effective either and obviously Njie has been injured but didn't look great beffort that.
Many of our points dropped have been due to lack of clinical finishing and decision making.
We've not really been out played by anyone quite the opposite in fact yet we still aren't strides ahead of a very poor disjointed pack.

We need pace with ability to take on players in dangerous areas from our supporting 3 forwards too many times this season when our press hasn't worked and our momentum has slowed down we are lacking the spark to turn the inevitable draw into the win.

This Summer needs some well thought out purchases with thoughts on CL level, not upsetting the balance, not breaking the bank, not selling our Core etc.

    Loris

    Walker/Tripper, Rose/Davies, Jan, Toby, Wimmer

    Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli

    Kane

Are all imo needed and are a great nucleus for a Solid side at all levels.

Those not included from the regular 1st team could be improved on to give us a Top side. Again that's only imo.

Well thats it then by the looks of things. Leicester win on sun n its adios om afraid barring a miracle of epic proportions. However stranger things hav happened but theres more chance of me winnin the lottery now. Its bin a gud campaign wiv ups n downs but i think too many draws n the inability 2 kill teams off has cost us dear. Arsenal game at home springs 2 mind n not turnin up at West ham another recently. Wot is essential now is that we keep Poch, the young group of playas we hav n invest in this squad in summer n come back stronger nxt season. Show the same resilience n b more ruthless against teams in the way that a certain scottish managed Utd were not so long ago. As always Coys

Our Title Dream is rather over; We have the youngest average team of the League ( and the we are "the more english" ...) ...we must make treasure of what happen; We must keep Poch and buy 2-3 players without destroy the Team's core so next season we will fight for the title.
I hope we keep the second spot in the classment ( above the Gooners is a must).
Never give up and beat Chelsea ( the shameful and unfair Club on the earth!!!) at the Bridge. As ever COYS
