Leicester Versus West Ham was watched today with much eagerness by Spurs fans. And things turned out not too bad in the end. They could have been better but they still dropped 2 points.

The reality remains though that we have to win every game until the end of the season. If we do that then we can only hope Leicester slip up.

Social media has today gone barmy with comments on the performance of referee John Moss at the King Power stadium this afternoon. Some have been funny and some have been daft.

Before I discuss those decisions, I want to say very clearly that Leicester, should they win the league will do so on merit. Not on luck. Not on bias. They have been superb and you win leagues by getting more points than the other teams. So far, they hold that.

    Right. The decisions today.
Firstly, the first yellow card given to Jamie Vardy was correct. And the second was spot on too. He looked at the defender, leant on him and then launched himself into a springboard dive. It was a silly moment and the ref was spot on to produce a second yellow and the subsequent red card.
Now for the honest bit from me. If that had been Kane, I would have cried penalty and been disgusted if he had been booked for simulation.

Next, the West Ham Penalty. Never a penalty. Very soft.
Now the honest bit from me. I screamed penalty and was delighted it was given. Had it been against Spurs, I would have been furious.

That leaves one last decision. The final minute penalty. This was a worse dive than Vardys. In fact it was more blatant and easier for the ref to see. But the ref bowed to the fans, bowed to his earlier mistakes and pointed to the spot.

So the game ended 2-2. For Mr Moss it was a nightmare.

The issue was inconsistency. If the Vardy incident is a yellow card, the final moment is a yellow card too.

However, the season is long and we can try and blame ref's as much as we can, but currently we are below Leicester because they have won the games they needed to under pressure.

As it stands, we are still in position to win the league, and tomorrow, some John Moss reffing in our favour would be welcome.

We know what we need to do. What we need to dare to do!!

I was gonna write a piece couple weeks ago urging Spurs fans to steer clear of 'lucky' 'long ball Leicester'...comments.
It just sounds desperate n sour grapes.

If Leicester win then we'll done to them, either of them or us is just what the game needed.

On another note the Scum look like they're falling apart would b great to see them in the Europa next season.

Am I the only person in the world who believes that over all, apart from the final decision, Moss got most things right to an acceptable level.
Agree with your assessment but should add that the West Ham penalty was fully justified as Wes Morgan had been bullying, screaming at and fouling players right up until that moment. He even told Moss to chastise the West Ham player who had the audacity to slightly protest after a crunching foul. That shove in the box screamed arrogance and no respect for the rules and I believe that the school headmaster had simply had enough.

    Bottom line, it's 2 points dropped :)

As it stands, the Foxes are where they are because they deserve it. If we fail to win tomorrow, we would only have ourselves to blame for choking. Let's keep positive and go get the 3 points, crank up the pressure. It will then become very interesting indeed!!!

Oh, and the Goons... Brilliant wasn't it. My man Bolasie - get in; love to sign him in the summer. Would have been even sweeter if Ade nicked a winner at the end - that really would have hurt them!

Huth should have definitely had a penalty when man handled by Ogbonna so the last minute pen evened that out. For me, that was the clearest decision of the lot.

I'll take the 2-2. They finally dropped points. They finally conceded. Vardy suspension next week could also be costly. Now we need to do our job! #COYS!!!!!!!

The West Ham penelty was def a penelty by law but was unfair because for some reason this holding , pulling and dragging out of people in the box especially from corners only gets punished once or twice a season out of a million incidents .. Today it was a joke what was going on in both boxes and 10 pens could have been given for it not just one ... Some say it's the inconsistency thats frustrating but in this situation they are actually very consistent .. They consistently ignore it and thats what's unfair on the one or two teams that get done for it .... C.O.Y.S ....

No, you're not the only person who thinks so. Moss had the balls to make the decisions.
Vardy decision was correct - it was a strange thing for Vardy to do but left Moss with no choice.
The ref had already had words with Morgan and Huth about the holding etc in the penalty area They took no notice and Moss duly gave the penalty.
Carroll made a stupid challenge - ref probably gave it for stupidity as much as anything else.
The only major decision he did not give was not showing red to Huth for an uppercut in the middle of the park, but he probably did not see it.
    Well done Mr. Moss.

Moss warned Huth and Morgan repeatedly. They have manhandled strikers throughout this season and got their come-uppance and rightly so.
I think Moss realised he bottled the assault on Huth late on, so when he was given a chance to make amends, he did just that.
Moss did little wrong for me and was bold enough with the Vardy incident and the Morgan one, to his credit and our eternal benefit.
We can't have it both ways.

    I agree....Moss had a decent game.
I think Vardy's first yellow was a bit soft....but it was a foul. And for me Carrolls foul for the penalty would be blown in the middle of the pitch....but in the box its a bit soft. It looked like body to body contact....but really....going into the box with another defender close by.....see the man to the touchline. don't risk it.

Vardy's second yellow. ...what worried me more (as an England fan)...is that he didn't taken the opportunity of having the ball in the box...and shooting! ...lets hope he doesn't make the decision to get penalty's over scoring goals

Tough game for us tonight. lets hope the weather stays nice. its a horrible place to go in the wind and rain

If Moss would have given a penalty on Huth take down, no one should question his refereeing last afternoon. But Huth embellished his fall by flinching his arms and that, perhaps, made Moss to hold up the blow. Frankly, it should have been 1:1, as a fair result.
