Some see the FA Cup as a welcome distraction. Others see it as a pain in rear and no longer have an interest in this great competition.
As far as I'm concerned, the FA cup is still a trophy worth winning. It's a chance to put silverware in the cabinet. And how good would it feel to take it off the interlopers from Woolwich?

As our former Captain fantastic, Mabbutt, said at the weekend, winning this competition is a great feeling. And one I hope all our players play passionately for tonight and knock Leicester city out at the King Power Stadium.

Changes are expected from both sides but I expect a strong line up from Pochettino as we continue our progress on 3 fronts. We can talk about too many games all day long, but ultimately, if you are doing well you will play more games and that is a good thing.

Spurs played well in the second half against Sunderland at the weekend and have every chance to beat Leicester this evening and go some way to atone for the league defeat.

Silverware is still important in my view. Yes, we must have top 4 and champions league football, but silverware will do us no harm at all.

    My predicted team:

Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose, Carroll, Chadli, Lamela, Eriksen, Onomah, Son.

Whatever and as ever....Come on You Spurs!!!!

If we are going to use the second string then I would put Trippier instead of Wimmer he can cross the ball better, and what about Davies he need's some game time..Any way a win tonight, the cup is important.COYS..

Hi Matt, who knows what the right team is for tonight, so yours is as good as any.
There is no doubt that the back 9 from Saturday plus Eriksen, Kane and one of either Son or Lamela are a long way ahead of any other combination (possibly Walker instead of Trippier, I'm neutral there given his defensive lapses).......but you have to have squad players showing their capabilities in challenging matches like tonight and delivering a result.
Not sure where the goals would come from....we will see soon.
Gonna be even tougher tonight, as I'm on the wagon and watching without a few beers is just not the same is it....heh ho....

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with the team selection.

A lot will rest on Eriksen tonight. Vorm is not great. I am not a fan of Bentaleb either. Too much of a show pony.

I hate edited highlights,Any one have updates on injury to Dier?A good goal from both Son and Chadli,it seem's we have at last a replacement for Kane Son led the line well tonight,I still have nerves about Vorm he seem's out of his comfort zone,if Levy fails to bring in a striker this window I would not be so worried but still would like a new face,on to palace another 3 points please,we do not measure our drinks out here you pour and say stop when the glass is full..COYS..

I'm not sure about Vorm....need a young and upcoming lad....trouble is warming the bench for most of the season does not attract top upcoming talent.
To some extent the performance last night played into Levy's hand, and Poch's post match interview again felt like he was not expecting much change of personnel..sad but starting to feel true.....bum!
