Interesting December ahead. Newcastle and Norwich at home should bring 6 points and some more goal difference. Away to Watford and Soton would be a little more difficult.
A great Christmas pressie would be 2 wins there, points go to 38 at the half way point of the season, on track for 76 points, best ever, and nailed on CL.....you never know....just need to believe in Father Christmas...

Indeed Shaqiri was awesome this weekend as was Anautovic. We need much more than Lamela/Townsend/Chadli etc its the supporting 3 where we need quality and pace, Vardy would suit our system to tee, id welcome Mahrez also and Bolasie etc.
I just don't find the supporting 3 busy enough or ready to make things happen imo.

Frustrating that we dont follow up when ManC, Chelsea, and Mancs fail - as they did yesterday !! How did Bournemouth (worst defensive record) beat Chelsea AWAY?? ! when we COULDNT ! Frustrating is a soft word !! Teams like WBA we should be banging them in given our form, talent and position !!

A little logic will tell you 5 games lost 3 wins means more points but,if this had happened this site and others would have been full of doom and gloom of how we have gone backwards and how Poch/Levy Know nothing not to mention the team who read how bad they are, instead we are 6 off the top and 3 away from the mix for 4th the team has hope the fans have hope,so where is the problem??Every fan wants to win every match score goals every match, but it is not going to happen.Every team is dropping points the PL is wide open,if you still need proof look where we were this time last year, yes we do need to make small adjustments but enough of the gloom and doom.....

The point im getting at is that people are bangin on 'bragging' were unbeaten but when broken down too many draws and the inability to take/make the 3 points is a prevelant problem that will catch us up. And my firm belief is that it is lack of options and tactics.
With the league being so open a side that has perrenially finished 5th/6th should be making the most of this situation to kick on and talking up more draws than wins is not the mentality that will achieve anything.
Of course no 1 wants to lose 5 but when it comes to crunch time you'd take the extra point 3 wins would give you over 8 draws.

I don't think there is much doubt we need a couple of quality players to complement our youthful exuberance.
Newcastle will make it hard for us next week as they did Liverpool today.
Poch will need a plan to beat the toon and get revenge for last season debacle.

I still say we have much to be optimistic about though.

A little concerning when none of our summer signings started the match with WBA,Son should have been on instead of Lamela, with Kane out of the Toon match Son should get the starting nod,it will be interesting as to who gets in the team for Thursdays clash a match we need to win to get the seeded next round and avoid the drop down CL teams maybe mix up with Townsend Wimmer and Tripper, with Kane up front, Son,and Clinton, should be enough to see off the French.........
