Nice try Felon82, but your proportionate extrapolation is not accurate. We have gotten remaining 7 games in first season half against lesser opponents than in first 12 games. Not only all 7 are against the sides that are being beneath Spurs in the table, but most are currently at its bottom half. Obviously, Chelsea position does not suggest we will get 3 points on fortnight Sunday, but you get the point: we may be at 38 points if we win 5 and draw 2. We can pull out trick and win all 7 ( highly doubt it). Poch did such a runs at Southampton in 13-14, whilst Spurs current XI are better that that side at least on paper. For the same period Foxes face Everton, Liverpool and both Man sides from table top part. Out of remaining 3 bottom half sides to entertain Leicester one is Chelsea. Spurs should be at 4th place by the year end, except for major disaster ( instead of Amen will site COYS! in here).
It is true that Spurs are now prominent for dropping its form by spring time. However, January window (for a long awaited change!)should make our depth at least adequate and that could help to repeat and possible exceed 2 point per game result Spurs are quite capable of doing in the first half.

All good legitimate points. Last season our issue was losing to sides that we had no business losing to. We've made some progress this season but we still have a long way to go, especially in finishing off teams we've dominated. Obviously all this will take time, I'm very optimistic because the signs are there. Few key injuries upfront have slowed us down thus far and Kane's early form. Son now being back and hopefully Njie and Chadli as well, we'll start scoring more up top. We do need a true striker up top in the January window; can't just be anyone though. Our team is meshing up well and can't bring in another player just for sake itself. With the squad we have, I believe we are capable of making top four and not having to overspend during the January window. Most worthwhile players aren't usually available then either.

Spurporter it was a mere guide not a fact. All i am saying is that drawing more games than winning is not title winning form and at the current rate of results statistically we will struggle to make top 4 if we dont start converting 1 point into 3.

Understood. I would not hope for league title, let alone predict one, but I do share Matj78's quite Spursly erupted optimism.
Our only true competitor for CL place is Hammers. Thus, next tie is critical in those aspirations.

  5. Sick of defeatist fans. Big clubs put us where we belong. We are a massive club, where we belong is regularly challenging for trophies. Even Wenger is wary

  6. I think that we deserved the three points on sunday but, if we are aiming to be champions we would've put the game to bed which we unfortunately couldn't against a shocking scum. The future is bright though. I think third place isn't out of reach this season because we have already played the teams above (us apart from shitty) away. For me the way we dispatched Villa last Monday at 70%effort was what top three teams are made of. I know everyone talks about bringing in two attacking players in jan, but who really is out there who we could sign at a reasonably cheap price with quality. Maybe Mahrez but he would expect first team football. Lets hope that Paul Mitchell can pull some decent signings out the bag. Come on you spurs!
