The best part is that the Reserves play on the Thursday and then the 1st team plays on the Sunday and claim its mid week fatigue that caused a sloppy performance.

We need to drop Europa like a hot turd, whittle out whos good enough in all departments to stay at the club, concentrate on getting a top 1st team together with much less weak links in it.
Only then should we be looking to add so many squad players once were achieving and have a side capable of winning things.

It does not matter what Pochettino says or thinks, let alone this forum.... Levy will decide based exclusively on money balances.

LFC is not a good example. I do not even have to explain why. Should we have Suares, Sterling and Sturridge or just Bale, Kane and Modric we could be reaping this league apart, Europa or not. Rogers lost two out of 3 players above and went promptly down the toilet regardless of CL. He regain surface only when Danny-boy came back, not because CL ended coincidentally.

I do not believe that dropping Europa will cause Spurs to qualify for CL. We will, I predict, end up out of top 4, only there will be less matches to look forward to. I may be a weird one, but I do believe that losing is better than not playing. Spurs are the young team and every game gives our lads experience that impossible to obtain in training only. Our Head Coach is clueless when it come to Europa football, so it should also serve him well. He is a talent that needs a playing time as well.

Europa is a Necessary Evil, therefore.

If we hadn't been in the EL this season, Harry Kane would still not be in our starting X1 and our season would not be over, we would be fighting for Premier League survival.
If we had won our last two games, fourth place would now be in our own hands - our season has gone to pot after our exit from the EL.
Liverpool did not suffer this season because of the EL, they were in the Champions League.
We cannot fantasize about CL football whilst complaining about playing twice weekly. Take the knockout games seriously and that success will breed success in the league.
Not wanting to finish in a EL position this season leads to not wanting to finish in the top half of the league next season, which leads to..... etc.
