Spot on a new stadium will not change the quality of player or the style of football we play .

Nope, i think this was an ok point.

Poch has got an AVERAGE squad to what 5th? THATS FKIN DECENT. Yer there last minute winners but we were in those games. O and aren't we fit with a free kick specialist. Sheff U come come.

Look, i can't help Saldoa, Lemlma, Paulicnolio ALL Spainship £70 Million 200k a week, look there **** but life is life. Messi ain't shite. Our man tried with these his players of native tongue.

Tottenham stand taller then Man City.

It was a very strange 11 to be fair And looked ominously like a shop window side. Went to the match and barring a shaky first ten mins chiriches had a decent game. Like it or not squad players have to get game time especially ones the club are looking to sell unfortunately. Didn't understand eriksen out wide or Townsend emission after his superb cameo midweek. Dembele looks to be fifth choice at present?? Never tried to win the game for me disappointed with the game!

Mate i've done mid weeks before Newcastle away when we lost 6 1, i did Carlise Away when we got a 1 1. I know what is like to travel and lose or draw. Notts County 0 3. loss mid week cup.

    I would be happy with 2 2, or 1 1 .

    WE DID NOT LOSE.

Dirty point, we got a dirty point.

Fran, that a good point re Dembele, he's a superb ball carrier and never goes missing in the middle. He should have featured. I think Poch was worried re Townsend and the Man U 3 down in 20 minutes. As for Ekrisson out wide. No, that wrong. If theres one upfront the i'd of gone for Townsend, Mason, Erikson, Dembele, Chadli.

The manager needs to learn from these games and we must make the Europa, i think 6th gets you there. Gives a great chance for the squad to come through. Kane when he was younger, Mason ect...

Europa is where we belong and be need to enter that comp, and win it.

Everyone of these combinations have been tried umpteen times allready , nothing changes in the long run bar letters and numbers ..

What we must sure of in the future is that we don't get these dodgy players from overseas on long contracts at high wage levels when they are mostly unproven.

Agree about looking like a shop window side what other reason could there be for picking Paulinho over Dembele ? also agree that squad players need game time but at this stage of the season where we should be able to pick first team regulars such as Dembele who although lacks consistency brings much more to the team than Paulinho ever will. I'm not sure his performance will excite too many potential buyers, we might have to cut our losses on this one and get rid of.
Also baffled at some of the team selections Poch seems to be eliminating all width from our play and although I don't personally rate Townsend that highly, as far as width and pace goes, he's it!
I'm also baffled as to why the manager continues to waste him on the right, I've seen him a few times lately when switching to the left and for England too, where he shows genuine pace and the ability to go around and stretch a defence, not only that he also has the ability to come inside and score off his right. What more does the manager want from this player FFS! and why is it that we cant play players in there natural position on there natural side ? Its not a real question we already know the answer, Poch doesn't like width and doesn't like to go around or stretch defences nor does he like long balls or diagonals that also might give reason for the opposition defence to wake up move a little. We will continue to tap the ball around a little and hope that Harry or Christian will do something, we don't need Townsend as much because Mason and Bentealeb have taken over the responsibility of waking up those in row Z by smacking at everything from 30 yards. im also disappointed that at this stage of the season where 3 points would have seen us overtake our rivals and the opportunity to finish the season strongly and with some momentum that we look as clueless and as lacklustre as we did at Burnley. We do need our squad and regular first team players fit and keen at this time of year im wondering where players like Dembele, Capoue, Stambouli, even Fazio have been.

Agree with most of what you have said here, I also think that we need the Europa and is fantastic for building the squad ( barring a miracle and we get top 4 ) and gives everyone the opportunity to prove themselves against decent opposition in Europe, however once we are through the group stages it really is all or nothing and I don't think we are going to win it and challenge for top 4.

The Nohoper league is utterly pointless its detrimental to our League campaign every season were in it.
Players wether Squad or 1st team amble around they dont take it seriously and niether does the manager who decides to rest players at the latter stage of the competition.
Its only worth it if your in it to win it and treat it with the respect a European cup deserves, 1 things for certain our squadies are not going to beat other countries better teams who play to win it, every time we play in it 9 times out of 10 we flop the next League game, we bloat the squad to cope but with some painfully average players stunting our chances of buying some true talent and long term keeping our best talent.
And its not in the slightest been a great adventure or learning curve since weve been in it, weve failed miserably every year struggled against minnows and gone out with a whimper to the 1st decent opposition we meet.
The Negatives far out weigh the Positives re our participation in it. Like a gullible Spurs fan i get excited every thursday evening waiting for kick off by half time almost comatosed from football played at a worser level than leaugue 1 where weve had 75% possession yet metalist rapid vienetta have had more shots on target and a couple of 1 on 1s while our MVP lamela cant 'get into the game' but 'shows potential'
    Awful competition !!!

Was misty but now nice and sunny, good footballing weather actually.
Just a shame we have nothing to play for after chasing Euro Glory with reserves.

I thought it was just me who loved the 'Arry' era. Boy they were exciting times weren't they? On the field and off. Definitely earned himself another season, but sadly, like so many managers prior, he upset the 'big man' (well little actually!), and so collected his P45.......probably in a brown envelope in the car park!!
