As I saw the team sheet today, I could see that the top four was surrendered.
    Chiriches, Paulinho, Dier.

To be fair, Dier will be a very good player in time but today I saw again exactly why Spurs are a long way from being a top four side.

Chiriches is dreadful, Paulinho is laughable.

Today was typical Spurs. No guile, no style. No nothing.

We need major signings in the summer, but with funds being kept back for the new stadium, I would expect Spurs to be finishing 6th or 7th for a few years yet.

Spurs have the 6th largest revenues and will therefore finish around 6th until this changes. This was known before the season started therefore talk of top 4 was always ridiculous.

We spent £200m, Burney spent virtually nothing, they outplayed us, it's not all about money.

My fellow Spurs fans wake up yes some of our players are not good enough
But the problem is poch keeps playing the same formation week in week out
We have been so lucky at times this season it's papered over the massive cracks
He has failed as a manager fact
I think he is trying too get sacked
Why does he not change formation when we are clearly not comfortable with current shape
He said today we lacked creativity
Well set the team up with for starters some natural width
Don't like this man he's either clueless or very arrogant
    Perhaps a combination of both

Forget all the 6th biggest revenues gives you 6th place or any other rationalisations, ANY fecking team that picks Paulinho and plays him for 90 minutes has a manager that just doesn't know what he's doing and absolutely DOES NOT understand the tradition that is Tottenham Hotspur. Can ANYBODY explain why we played that total w****r....FFS

Well who would have expected any diff from Paulinho to be fair .. No one can say he's not consistent .. The golden boy Erickson gets away scott free with poor performance after poor performance .. Half a season of nothing from him and he's lauded by 99 % of the fans .. Don't get it myself ..

Lemmy forget about this net spend bollix , there's no hiding the fact we,ve spent around 200mill over the last few years , the prob is we spent it on rubbish .. What diff would spending another 200 or 500 mill make if you waste it apart from putting us into serious debt ..

Spurs are very young group that naturally unable to sustain top form for the duration of the season. Plus 3 Lions participation tired up some key performers. MP ran out of useful players, not having a solid No 10 to begin with. Hence, Paulinho, who was good coming of the bench against Foxes.

Spurs should have focused on Europa. We would be the only team in all UEFA tourneys by now with something to look forward to should we send our first team up in Florence.

Don't get me wrong here , im not digging at you but in your opinion when were we ever in top form this season .. Honestly i can only think of 2 or 3 isolated performances , the rest has been poor - average at best i.m.o ..

I really think Poch should bring Holtby back. It baffles me that Poch seems to be looking for young hungry players, yet Holtby was loaned out so quickly. Granted, he does have his flaws but I can't see how he'd be any worse than Paulinho. Also if there's anything last week's game against Leicester proved, it's that loaning out Lennon wasn't the right move, while he may be inconsistent, defensively he's the best winger we have and he's really good at covering for Walker, which would've been helpful when he was getting torn apart. Another problem Poch seriously has is his use of substitutions, I don't know what's wrong with him but he always introduces them far too late or he substitutes the wrong players and they rarely ever change the game. We're meant to be aiming for top 4 but the performance and Poch's decisions implied that maybe they're just not in it.
