TOP 5 conspiracy theories: Sparks fly meaning new stadium edges closer?

Reports emerged this morning that a fire has engulfed the building of Archway Sheet Metal works – the last and only company refusing to make way for our new £100million stadium.

Yet amongst the fire and smoke, there is undoubtedly the smell of something fishy arising from the fire.

Josif Josif, 46, who runs Archway Sheet Metal Works, has been part of a long dispute over the area with Spurs and ENIC for 10 years, and has even claimed that he has received threats from Spurs fans over his refusal to vacate the site.

After a meeting with Levy and ENIC officials last Thursday, the THST expressed their distaste towards the club ground-sharing with the MK Dons during the 2017-18 season. So what was Tottenham’s reply? Stressing the need to keep all options open at this time, and who would’ve thought flames and wreckage was one of them!

So here are our top five conspiracy theories:

Archway have been Levyied

Spotted in his local Waitrose a few days ago, staff had said it seemed odd that Daniel Levy had only purchased a pack of Swan matches and some fire fluids.

This was coupled by the rumour that Levy and Baldini had an initiation planned for new recruit Paul Mitchell, ahead of his move from Southampton.

In order to pledge his loyalty to the cockerel, Mitchell may have been assigned with the task of starting the fire before his appointment.

Perhaps Baldini, who is believed to be the brains behind the idea, had misunderstood the British press when they stated that Mitchell ‘had been on fire for the Saints during the summer window.’

Spurs next door but not involved

As with many sensitive cases, there is always the possibility that Archway may have made the most of this dispute with Spurs and have taken action themselves.

Knowing Spurs fans are likely to be handed the blame, Archway (who are self-confessed Spurs supporters themselves) could have instigated this event, to which in the end both sides of the dispute profit at the building’s expense.

If the fire is as damning as reported, Spurs will be left with the land and Archway with a hefty insurance sum.

Bitter fan could have began blaze

A suggestion that many will hope to be proved to be false – is the theory that is was a Spurs fan who is responsible for the event.

It is understandable that fans have been frustrated and angered by the news that we may have to ground share when our time at WHL is over, added to the fact that our new stadium is nowhere near being completed.

Despite these injustices, I would find hard to believe that any fan would do such a thing with the belief that this single action would speed up the process to which our stadium will be erected.

Another point to consider is – why would a fan wait until now to start the fire, when they’ve had months to consider it?

Club calling

Amidst rumours of discontent and player exits in the Spurs camp; could it be that the fire was created not for the purpose of fire itself, but for the mass amount of smoke that it produces?

With players such as Paulinho, Dembele, Adebayor and Chiriches linked with a move away from WHL, could the fire have been started in order to produce a smoke signal!

With Poch given the go-ahead to stamp his authority on the squad by Levy, who knows how far he may have limited his players civil liberties, such as removing all their contact with the outside world.

This fire at Archway could well have been a smoke signal from any one of these rumoured players, with the intention of producing a message to say that they want out, and to potential suitors – “COME AND GET ME!”

Fiddler on the roof

Early reports have gathered pace saying a man named Arson Wenger has accepted responsibility for the crime through contact with the police, but has not yet been caught. It is thought Arson is head of a newly found terrorist group called the Goners, who originate from Woolwich.

The arsonist has admitted that his true intention was to set fire to WHL, but in similar vein to Danny Welbeck’s shooting ability, the criminal missed his target.

There is no indication as to whether Arson Wenger is in fact a pseudonym for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

 

I expect it is just a co incidence.

The design of the stadium is WRONG.


IT IS POORLY DESIGNED.

Ask yourself this question. Do the Paxton sing? No. They don't sing they have never sung. All the atmosphere comes from the Park Lane and Block 31 i.e. the East Stand up in the shelf. (Were the Shelf Side were the Shelf side ect...)

The new design has no shelf it uploads behind the goal and middle with season tickets and the people who bring the noise get ruled out.

Pathetic weak design.

Yes to the Stadium and 60k at Spurs but keep it like it is abit bigger!
