At last Ange shows courage and takes off Maddison because he was not doing enough and our midfield shows vast more energy.Keep it up.Still don’t trust Udogie defending although he is good going forward.Happy days and the Spammers look like relegation fodder

 

Yeah. I felt a bit sorry for David Moyes. Won them a European cup and consistently top half but maybe whu fans got what they wished for!
Udogie is strange I thought he was going to immense but I don’t even think his attacki g threat is what it was
Not sure Madders was playing badly, stream I watched said he put in 5 goal scoring passes in the first half , more than any other game. I think it may have been attitude based. Normally in those situations you give them 5 or 10 mins. Either way it worked out

Just watched Rangers play Kilmarnock and if spurs don’t beat this lot in the euros then we will be laughing stock.Truly awful team

 

Nothing for us to complain about. I don’t think he’s necessarily a bad coach, but the longer he stays there the better.

 

If Ange can beat up Rangers with Celtic, then he can certainly beat them up with Spurs.

The days of Rangers being an ultra competitive European side are unfortunately long gone.

 

Scotland used to have decent foreign players in their club teams......
They have none of any note now...... which doesn't help their overall match quality......

However...... on any day... spirit and energy and fight can unsettle the better teams.....
It will be their cup final game and we have to be ready for that

 

Anything is possible for sure … particularly if we send out a second string lineup. I guess we’ll have a much better idea of where we stand by then.

As for the general quality of Celtic and Rangers these days, I agree it’s a shame. They should have joined the English league long ago.

AZ playing full strength side as do united and rangers why do we have to make so many in one game ,It never works.4 or 5 ok 9 definitely not.Will he do same against city in midweek as it’s only the Caribo cup.Sheer arrogance

 

I think the lineup is good enough tonight, but I agree, it will be disappointing if we don’t play close to a full strength team against City. I don’t see it happening though. We’re about to play 4 games in 10 days, so players will need to be rested here and there.

 

as good as Werner is in link play..... you do wonder how much patience Ange will have as he just continues to miss 'sitters'

 

First half as expected 2 shots on target and were more passes than shots.Please please no more Werner he is getting embarrasing for himself and Ange for keep picking him

 

A win is a win I suppose but I want us to dominate teams like this and not make it so nervous.Mikey Moore best player by a mile .Must be on before Verner whatever his age.I don’t know how many shots we had on target but not many.Still stand by my view that 9 changes is too much .Youngsters get experience but need senior players help.Why is gray not tried in midfield as he is not a fullback although he gives it his all. Can anyone explain what Verner does in training .Surely you practice one on ones till you get it right.Never seen a talent wasted so much

It’s amazing really … scored 28 once in Germany … and 20 plus another year … has scored 20 plus for his country

Not sure what’s going thru his mind when he gets in one on ones … which to his credit he does all the time … but at some point he’ll just have to tell himself enough is enough … he’s got too much talent to keep fluffing his lines

 

That was a pretty good lineup today … and the three teenagers got to play. Will have to put out a stronger lineup in the next couple of European games though … on to Palace refreshed and ready to go.
