I did not say Kulu was not great because he was but he does give ball away in attack at times because he does try the harder pass at times instead of the more simple one.I despair about Verner because he made some great runs but just panics in front of .With son today we might have got six.PITY HE WAS INJURED AS HE COULD HAVE DONE WITH THE CONFIDENCE

you literally said he was giving the ball away every time we are attacking. He ended up delivering 9 goal chances

Kulu is a talent … big body … technically good … versatile … fantastic engine … and once he gets moving he does have good pace. Where he falls short at times is in his slowness to react … appearing at times far too ponderous in both body and mind.

That said, I think Ange has found his best position. In a 3-man ball-playing midfield ... him, Maddison, and Bentancur. A great evolution for the team, hats off to the manager for tweaking it.

I feel sorry for Timo. He’s copping a lot of stick from Spurs fans today when he actually played pretty well overall.

He does lack confidence in front of goal, which is very strange given he scored 28 goals in Germany once and has scored 20 odd for his country. It would seem his time at Chelsea has mentally scarred him.

I would expect another good piece of man management from Ange here, who will publicly back him as he did Johnson and Solanke and be rewarded in goals for his faith. Werner clearly has talent … he just needs to exorcise some demons.

Gotta enjoy this one … it’s not every day we win at Old Trafford nor in such a dominant fashion. Unfortunately the send off will obscure that somewhat, but as the manager said, the petulance was a result of the frustration of getting completely outplayed.

And yep Micky Moore looks to be the next Harry Kane … and not just because his name naturally shouts ‘legendary goal scorer’ … he is a talent well ahead of the curve.

quite a lot of….was it or wasn’t it a red card……with many saying it should have been a yellow…..

I wonder if the VAR panel decided the fact he slipped actually prevented a more dangerous tackle…..
so the intent was a factor…and that was not to play the ball at all…just the man

Yeah you are probably right. It was just frustrating, it was a shame that Johnson’s cross to him got so well intercepted as that one really was a sitter

Good call on the game btw. I’ll be asking for your tips every week now.

Don’t know what to think of team today .I am wanting to see lankshear and Moore but thought they would get their chance one at a time in games .To play both with Verner is not what I expected.I would be happier if one more out of Solanke or maddison was there to help them Fingers crossed we don’t have to go to the bench too early.I hope Ange has
Not taken this team lightly who have won all their games this year

What an insult .all I was saying what Glen Hoddle was saying that spurs were wide open at times and so easy to get through.I have supported spurs for over 60 years come rain or shine how long have you.My whole week is ruined when Spurs lose so don’t say I am happy .Complete nonsense.I do however have the right to criticise even when we win because I want to WIN something and unless we get more worldly wide at times we wont

    It was tongue-in-cheek Preed.....
apologies if you didn't get that

but see my previous post (Friday afternoon)...... I don't see us there just yet.
Ange needs time and backing...and we aren't historically that good in giving either

But I do think Ange has things going in the right direction.....and we will all of course cross everything...
    ....as we do every year

Not bad sending out all the teenagers and backups and still winning away in Europe … not bad at all.

That’s 5 in a row now … can we keep it rolling at Brighton? I suspect we’ll give it a good crack.

Not bad as you say but we were so fortunate to not go behind to ridiculous offside decision going our way.Funny thing to me was we struggled at the end after bringing on more experienced players.I was impressed with Micky Moore who looks ready even though he is so young.Gray is a gem who seems to be able to play in defence and midfield although he really should be given chance in midfield. So far Bergval looks anxious and last night gave the ball away to often and Lankshear needs to sharpen up a bit at this level as he was hurrying and missed 2 good chances but this will come with experience.Very promising for the future especially as Odbert Johnson and Sarr are also very young. The main thing is to bed these boys in slowly with experienced teams around them although Moore looks ready now.A win at Brighton would lift the squad but a defeat could set us back as the top 4 at the moment don’t look like dropping many points.

Mikey is the real deal. Hard to believe he’s barely 17. We’ve been waiting a long time for a proper world class prospect from the academy.

Will Ange reap the benefits? Probably not. He’s never stayed long at any club. Maybe Spurs can entice him to do otherwise because he’s gonna win something here if he does.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want the club to ever sign another boring manager again. We Spurs fans have to put up with enough as it is, let alone having to watch negatively geared football.

Mikey should play against Brighton but I bet he does not.It will be Johnson Verner and Solanke.
