Notice you didn’t make any comments after our 4-0 win but come storming back when we lose. Same old response “happy when we’re losing, you’re only happy when we’re losing”. Such a shame!

You seem to think we should win every game … like it’s our birthright …. and only appear to complain when we lose as a result.

Seriously?

This is a side in major transition …. the likes of Johnson and Kulusevski are not going to get it done up front every week. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. Still, this team just equaled a club record for consecutive goals … and with what? Finished 8th last year and lost its greatest player in the process. A remarkable feat I would say.

Appreciate the lack of patience … honestly do … but the renaissance of Spurs is fast approaching.

 

Yesterday's match clearly shows that we do not yet have a team capable of winning titles. We have very good players but we inevitably lack character! We haven't been good in several matches this season but yesterday's was the worst of the season. If the 1st half was fairly balanced, the 2nd was a parody of defensive management by the Spurs. On each Fulham occasion, it was a goal or almost a goal. And every time the Spurs attacked, they made monumental misses. Werner and Johnson repeatedly miss the inevitable in front of an empty goal. The Spurs could have played 10 more hours without scoring. The whole team is selected from their respective nations and everyone has raised their feet as if to protect themselves...

 

As I mentioned, we just equaled a record for consecutive goals. So perhaps no surprise we would soon inevitably shoot blanks?

Let’s be honest … and this was very apparent at the beginning of the season when Kane left. The forwards are not good enough to get it done every single week. Johnson? a good squad player but he’s not world class in waiting … technique is maximised as of now. Kulusevski? has skill and guile but seriously lacks pace and athleticism. Will never be a continuous threat on the flank. Son is talented but has always been rocks and diamonds. Richarlison the same.

I’m not sledging the players … there is definitely talent there … but there is no world class presence up front. We will do better than the opposition most weekends but there is no superior cutting edge in the final third to make it count every time.

We matched Fulham and outpassed them at home but got done 3-0. Seriously, zero cutting edge at present, and that has been the case all year.

 

What's the point of over celebrating existing?

Told ya before I'm not remotely interested in the ENIC dream of CL money to embezzle in property.
This season was over the minute we whimpered out to City.
Currently any wins we have are just papering over the continuous issues that haunt/plague the club.

Spurs making the top 4 was nothing but a pipe dream before the season began. Perhaps some expect it these days for no other reason than it has become somewhat common place around here.

But this team has been in decline for some time and then fell completely apart at the end of last year … then to exacerbate matters we lost our talisman and greatest player.

Whoever came in … regardless … this was always going to be a rebuilding year.

Yet Ange has done remarkably well to have us around there … particularly when you consider how decimated we were the middle third of the season.

We are developing … progressing … but we will indeed need more quality next year. The forwards are not quite good enough. The midfield inconsistent. But we are on the right track … that is clear.

 

Another performance with lack of end product.We really need a goalscorer.Once again don’t understand Anges subs.Why was Maddison taken off.we may have a good style but without the right front players we are doomed to be struggling for top 4.Richarlison should have been on for Verner with at least 30 mins left
