Son whose won fvck all, signed his bumper deal thinking Kane was off & knowing it was his last big contract obviously doesn't want success.
Genuine success that proper players want.

You can dress it up however you want but at the end of a players career they want medals not a took part memory.

God felon I have supported a lot of your views in the past but to now knock Son for a comment about the golden boot then you have gone down in my estimation .This boy has sweated bloo9d for the club and does not deserve that type of criticism.Alan shearer won Fvck but was he a good player

Didn't say he wasn't a good player him & Kane have carried this club for years.
But again nothing I've said isn't correct, he has won fvck all, signed a bumper deal knowing Kane wanted out so just got a comfy extension knowing hel never win anything.

Are you saying son is not a proper player because he would be snapped up by the big boys if he left

No I'm saying he was happy to accept ending his career with nothing to show for it

Nobody could be more pleased to see us improve under Conte than me Voice of reason but let’s hope we learn from what happened before under Pochetino where we were fooled into thinking we were better than we were and did not strengthen,Now is the time to splash the cash Levy

Well there you have it... a Conte masterclass... including a very public dressing down of the Arsenal manager which was not only amusing but worked to great effect in the final run in

This season seemed doomed before a ball was kicked... and certainly was dead in the water come November... so a remarkable achievement by one of football's best managers to come in and deliver on our number 1 objective... and with a good amount of style... as I said some months ago the home loss to United was one of the greatest defeats Spurs could have wished for

I believe I also guaranteed that Spurs... languishing in 7th or 8th at the time with games in hand... would make Champions League... it was a banker so I hope someone has made some money off of that

To be honest it was never a stretch... United were/are the most dysfunctional side in world football and Arsenal are not that good... had they not arsed three straight wins against Chelsea, United and West Ham it would never have been this close. Consider they were also afraid to play against us sometime ago when the league ridiculously offered them a postponement... so it should be no surprise they crumbled when the time came

For those irredeemable fools who've been slagging this squad these past two years... wishing we were Leicester... or Wolves... or West Ham... or Everton (ffs)... it's time you put the cue in the rack... you don't understand football in the slightest and your opinions have zero credibility now (not that they ever had much to begin with)

Spurs are a good side... they just haven't had a good manager these last two years... until now... it should be blatantly obvious to all what that brings to a football side

So my work in this incarnation is done... Conte has well and truly exorcised Jose's ghost from the club and shown him to be the complete charlatan at Spurs that he was... when I return next term perhaps it will be as Conte's Concierge... lol

    Enjoy the offseason lads... COYS

The new signings & other teams failings snuck us in there.

    Don't kid yourself otherwise.

Lucky for us this year that 16 PL sides were terrible with mid table championship level squads….any other season we would have been relegated

So Utd Arsenal West Ham were good this year?

You can delude yourself if you wish but the standard of the league has been appalling.
And a huge slice of fortune that scum bottled it at Newcastle has us in the top 4.

Yeah like I've been calling for, because like it or not Alli Ndombele LoCelso etc were trouble makers there were also too many left from the failed Poch era and until they'd gone and new blood brought in the attitude has changed.

Amazing how no1s expecting Conte to make Ndombele Alli LoCelso better they just roundly accept they were all a problem n we've kicked on now they're gone and bought 2 players ready for the 1st team.

Had Bentancur & Kulu not arrived in January we wouldn't have got 4th no way in hell.

So yes it was new signings

Lo Celso was signed by JM along with Gedson, Bergwijn, Hart, Vini, Doherty and Rodon. I think we can all agree that they didn’t have the impact that the 2 x new signings for Conte did. The 2 new signings happened to be from Italy and happen to suit Contes system…is that luck or judgement?

Alli was a problem at the end of Poch’s reign and continued to be for both JM and Nuno. The only one who had the balls to shift Alli was Conte so was that good from him or poor from the others?

4th place was the very best we could hope for and we got it….let’s hope it attracts more decent new signings and helps drive us forward as it’s about time.

You say that but he was forced upon these managers by Levy, Mourinho wanted shot sat him out n most of you cried.
Levy then blocked a move to PSG last knockings aswell.

Who cried about leaving Alli out? Most, if not all recognised his attitude and effort meant the only way was down.

You are 100% right in that he probably was forced upon managers after Poch but Conte didn’t have a bar of it so he shouldn’t we be grateful of that rather than use it against him?

Do you think Roma are glad they finished 1 point behind their city rivals in 6th this season? They may be in a European final but they haven’t won it yet and to be honest would they rather win the Europa Conference League or have finished above Lazio in a CL place.

Don't care about Roma it's completely irrelevant

  17. THFC Guest

Not really…the same manager that guided them to 6th (below their city rivals) is the one that you refer to regularly yet they have been in place similar time.

One has spent over €100m to finish 6th in a league worse quality than the PL yet the other apparently fluked a spot in a competition that doesn’t mean anything other than financial reward (despite everyone wanting to be in it) and managed finished above our main rivals while spending €30m.

    Credit where credit is due

It's obsessive behaviour to be desperate to see what he's doing elsewhere, no doubt you probably hope Roma lose that final, just like some Spurs fans wanted us to lose the LG Cup Semi such was the derangement.

It's irrelevant what's happening elsewhere different club different league different situation.

Must admit this argument about Mourino is totally irrelevant now.I am accused on here of being in agreement with all Felons arguments but I was never ever for Mourino or his horrible brand of football.I do agree that we don’t have a super squad and it needs strengthening but I do have the greatest admiration for Conte and what he has done and his judgement of a player Ie Kulu and Bettancour.Make no mistake about the quality of the premiership being poor this season when a disorganised rabble like united are Sixth. We are spoilt because of the quality of the top two are exceptional but the rest are moderate to say the least

Look at your quote when we signed them!!! You said they “were raiding other clubs benches and that Kulusevski didn’t look very good”
But now they have turned out to be good that’s becAuse you said that’s what we needed to do?!
Come on Felon, admit it, we got 4th place, you said on numerous occasions we wouldn’t, eat some humble pie, grow a pair and admit you may not be the spurs supporter messiah that you think you are:rolleyes:
