Spurs have been kept pretty busy so far this transfer deadline day, and the transfer merry-go-round could see Spurs land their second player of the day.

After Benjamin Stambouli’s medical at Hotspur Way, Danny Welbeck now looks likely to join on loan from Manchester United following their move for AS Monaco attacker Radamel Falcao. Falcao could cost United £6million in loan fees from Ligue 1 Monaco, freeing out-of-favour Welbeck up for a move to Spurs.

He’s currently training with the England team just 10 miles away from the Spurs training ground, and so a medical would be easily completed, with Welbeck filling in the left-side of the attack that Spurs are looking to bulk up.

The England man has 8 goals on the international stage but has been told he is not part of Louis van Gaal’s plans, a claim confirmed by the introduction of Falcao.

Meanwhile in the departure lounge, Queens Park Rangers have been the main suitors for our supposedly outgoing players, with an official bid for midfielder Sandro confirmed by Sky Sports.

Harry Redknapp is looking to bring him in on loan with the Brazilian currently out of favour with Mauricio Pochettino, preferring Nabil Bentaleb and Etienne Capoue so far this season.

That comes after QPR’s interest in Aaron Lennon expired; coming to nothing after an initial deal looked likely.

Meanwhile Zeki Fryers looks set for a £3million move to Crystal Palace as he undergoes a medical.

Plus the fact we get rid of Holtby on Loan and sign Stambouli who is literally the same type of player as Holtbys whole game changed...Wellbeck thats just stupid

We need another striker and as all the prices are now inflated perhaps Wellbeck might be a useful loan move, Holtby move is just ludicrous as he gives 110% every time and is a creative player.
