The only one who is deluded is you and your sly little comments when the manager you so strongly support plays 7 defensive players against a team who haven’t won at home all season.
Arm chair managers...despite my continued efforts to try and listen to the very rare things you say with any level of intelligence, it’s proving harder and harder to find because the more you are proved wrong, the worse you get. It’s ok, you can still continue to run the JM fan club but I’m pretty sure you will be well and truely on your own with it.

Let’s get serious now because that was Brighton’s first home win..The team selection was awful .Why get cover for Kane and leave him on the bench and when he came on he was by far the best attacker.I do not see any team pattern or desire from most of the players and I think most of of them don’t like playing for Jose.why do players who are internationals play like third division rejects when they pull on a tottenham shirtAs poor as the players are a manager sets the tone and tries to develop a system that works for the players available. When will we see a team that does not get changed every game and stick with it.The tv pundits highlighted the lack of tracking back and desire from a few notable players. For me only Hojbjerg looks like he wants to win.Son tonight awful Bergwin atrocious Bale should go back to golf in Spain
We were lucky that we didn’t get a real spanking and enough is enough I don’t care who comes in but Mourino has to go .

Mark my words when you get your wish you'll realise how utterly garbage this squad is

But isn't that the soul tactic?
What he's instructing them to do?

As Ive said players with limited quality passive half hearted mentality stockpiled with them.

Davies got his LB role people wanted and he was at fault for the goal doing an awesome Aurrier impression.

That wasn’t what I asked you was it? I agree the entire list below need to be punted and there are many players including Bissouma from Brighton today that would be an upgrade BUT in your list, replace player for player and position for position...as it stands you want rid of 2 x terrible RB but only have one (Wan Bissaka) as a replacement.

    So...
    goalkeeper - for who
    wan bisaka - for who
    Fernandes - for who
    Matic - for who
    rashford - for who
    maguire - for who
    cavani - for who
    mctominay - for who
    Greenwood - for who

Ok and except for Fernandes and Cavani (who is 34 and on £300k per week) you want the United squad that JM had 2 years ago that played terrible, defensive football and managed to get him the sack? Big upgrade...

Have you seen Joses after match comments .Any sane manager would be going berserk but he said although we were poor first half our second half deserved something better .The man is delusional we were second best in every department and he sounds desperate to me.Any other club would have sacked him by now despite our league position which will get worse very quickly. After supporting the club for over 60 years I have seen the glory and the heartbreak of relegation but never have I seen a squad so demotivated or watched such pointless and boring football.

That squad finished second in league and won the europa without Fernandes Wan bisaka maguire and I think mctominay who are all better than what we have and Jose got himself sacked with his poor man management which he is starting to show us now

I have supported Spurs a long time (50) yrs and this period of Management/Players is the worst by far Morinho is taking us down a very slippery slope there are so many things wrong with what he's doing for example how Deli has been left out and forced into going the poor defence Aurier leaving the ground and getting dropped along with Dyer for a mistake ! there is nothing right about what he is doing and when he gets interviewed has been blaming individuals never himself instead of bringing the squad together he does the opposite and from what have heard he's on £15 million a year an absolute joke ! look how his second spell at C/sea went then United ! and he has just got worse from style of football to man management 'shocking, he's very lucky there are no crowds cos things could be even worse realise a lot harder without out talisman 'Kane' but having one player missing seems to have destroyed our fragile confidence, as far i'm concerned most of the problems are down to him from the tactics to playing men out of position because he's making an example of someone ! apart from that we are playing C/sea next and can't see us getting anything from that, also if Levy decides to pull the plug the manager will still get a massive pay off, one last thing Kane has a history of injuries recently so the amount of games and the way he's been played has played a part in what's happened and sorry to say but think he could well be off at the end of season and wouldn't blame him.

JM looks like he's given up. No idea what goes on behind the scenes but he can't be happy with the squad he's putting out..... whoever he chooses. No matter what he does 3 or 4 are shocking.... and cost us.
That and the complete lack of a forward team play force.
He's trying not to concede against poor teams rather than playing attacking football and walking all over them.

Does the better winning squads he's had previously mask the fact that he isn't a good motivator or tactically very good.

    There's your answer

When all avenues are exhausted then it's the personnell at hand

I think JM has been let down by underperforming players..... but I don't think his tactics or formations help.
Formations are only as good the players in them.

add to that we don't have enough hungry intelligent attack minded players.
and we have 4 (or 5) defenders that don't cross the half way line.

    something needs to change.

Remember when Redknapp was in charge. no real tactics but very good man management.

Now that the initial disappointment has died down what are we going to do on Thursday against Chelsea to avoid a complete embarrassment especially if tanguy is out with injury.Son must play in his proper position which means Vinicius must play.No 3 at the back please and certainly no Bale who looks a spent force. So many players not buying in to the work effort needed so I don’t hold out much hope.We could bring back Harry on a short term to get some man management back in the club.I am sure he would get a reaction from Ali who was one of England’s brightest youngsters only to lose his way but I still think there is a footballer in there

Unfortunately for me..... Redknapp was good at getting players up for it....and didn't bother with a tactical plan.
A running Bale needed no coaching. Ledley (when he played) didn't need telling where to be.
Modric didn't need telling when and more importantly where to pass forwards.

Sadly our key player areas of RB & LB won't get any better.
Our CB players bar Toby & Rodon won't get any better
Our front line players bar Son & Kane won't get any better.
Our defending midfield players bar Hojbjerg won't get any better
Our attacking midfield players bar NDombele (at the moment) won't get any better.
    So 6 outfield players then......

I would settle for someone getting the players up for it as you say because don’t tell me Mourino has a tactical plan and if he has the players have not got it.I believe he has lost the dressing room and that only ends up one way.Even bad players can run their heart out for the cause but our players at the moment with about 3 exceptions do not chase back or fight when they lose the ball which tells me they don’t care

When Kane goes end of season (because the club has failed him) Son & N'Dombele will immediately be questioning their futures along with Alli.
Lloris has not made it secret he wants to go PSG for a swan song and Toby will be looking for a retirement contract in a slower league.
I'm predicting that when this inevitable collapse happens wel see Ralph Hasenhüttl arrive with Danny Ings and everyone can be happy with a careful what you wish for long term no end goal project they can all get behind.
