Matt - Its becoming a bit of a nervous wait. Agree this needs to be sorted ASAP. We all knew Tims time would be up at end of season so its hard to imagine that Levy hasnt got a replacement lined up or at least someone in mind. The only thing we do know is that LVG was the first choice and that there may have been some contact (informal) with FDB. If he is waiting on the likes of Anchellotti and Rafa then theres a slight risk that if they fall through then it becomes too late and we end up with someone completely wrong if potential candidates like FDB and Poch who might be available now, maybe even waiting might also pull out due to the clubs indecision.

When has Levy ever done things asap? Hes forever stalling on everything while everyone we need gets wrapped up by everyone else. And then we have to listen to all the excuses why we failed again while our wet fans all applaud him

    Correct!!

  4. No offence but Spurs are no bigger than Saints why would he want to join them. In four years Pochettino can make a real name for himself at Saints and then move to a bigger club. Yes we may lose Shaw but Pochettino will have a transfer pot of £57m and a conveyor built of good youth players coming through. You. Don't need £100m transfers to make a good team!

So, that's Ancelotti off the list....Welcome to the Lane Mr Moyes!!
Joking aside, I think we could be looking at Benitez but if he doesn't take the job then....well, I dread to think

Nice one Gareth, so its not Anchelotti then. Did someone say spurs no better than saints ? Good one. Although it will be interesting to see how Poch goes without Lallana and Shaw. of course thats if he's still there.

I dnt think anchelotti was ever a realistic option he is only interested in managing the money teams. We need FDB pronto but all this stalling and faffing around publically will only show whoever it will be that they were never first choice so a nice positive start then. Under Levys leadership its all looking organised and rosey this 13 year project is really starting to come together.

Listen guys, I know what the title of this article is, and that a few papers seem to be running with The Metro story about MP staying with S'hampton, but we SHOULD understand by now that papers NEED to create a fair few rumours to fill their pages.

Weren't the SAME papers, after all, claiming that Bale is a 'good' lad who won't force through a transfer out of Spurs? Well, we all saw what happen there!

And didn't some even state that GB was poised to stay, and sign a new contract, making him the highest paid player in Tottenham' history?

I mean, I know it's EASY to buy into all the so-called negativity surrounding the club with NUMB-SKULLS on websites like this, and in the media, trying to create bad-feeling around WHL at EVERY given turn. But it's up to those who LOVE the club, and have it's BEST interests at heart to rally around, and raise above it!!!

We are the ones that are entrusted with the roles to (help) LIFT this club up when times get get hard, NOBODY else!

It's all well and good spouting off clichés, like 'coys' or 'tottenham till I die' at the end of your comments. But what are you doing to help/support the club when the tough gets going? NOTHING (apart from BITCH, MOAN, WHINE and COMPLAIN)!!!

I would suggest that until something is ACTUALLY confirmed regarding MP's 'new contract' at S'hampton, or any other manager for that matter, we take EVERYTHING we read regarding the subject with a dash of salt.
