Much respect for Son … he has given much to the club

But no … I’ve never considered him world class … close at times for sure … but his quality has never been consistent enough

He looked shot 2 years ago … and then had a renaissance under Ange and the captain’s arm band last year

He looks mostly cooked now at 32 … this is our highest paid player

 

Success....not in the league or the season overall...... but I would certainly take winning a cup..... as that's a success

Surely even the most ardent fan of Ange knows it’s up.we have got 2 points from bottom 4 so far really exciting.What a shambles conceding with 2 minutes to go again because the pretender does not manage games he does not know how to.I await with bated breath for the excuses from the Ange lovers(you know who you are)it will be injuries although we have lost 4 games with both centre halves playing.Why the hell was Son playing again and what a fiasco that his replacement is a complete waster Verner?Games against Newcastle and Liverpool and Arsenal coming up .why don’t we give them the points and avoid more injuries.SACK tonight please and make me happy because I am beginning to hate thesound of his voice mate

The endless games and injuries have taken their toll … but that aside … this is not a good football team

It would actually start to appear that Ange did amazingly well last year to get this team to 5th … after all … we finished 8th the previous season and then lost Kane … Son was cooked two years ago … Bissouma couldn’t get a game under Conte … Ange miraculously made him look like Jay Jay Okocha … Porro … Solanke … Deki … these guys didn’t make it at big clubs (unfair to Deki … but he’s only got one foot) … the list goes on

I looked at the lineup today prematch and there is just no excitement about it at all … it’s just a poor Spurs side

Half the players out injured, games every 3 days yet you want him sacked tonight?
As has been mentioned many times, it’s Levy and the board who need the pressure because we simply don’t have a squad deep enough to allow Ange to manage.
You are moaning about the players he picks, the subs he uses etc etc. Who do you think he can select? We need additional players and rapidly because as it stands we are still in with a chance, somehow, of having a decent season.
Its all on Levy now but please stop with the ‘Ange lovers’ and ‘sack tonight’ rubbish because there is both no one else available and no one else that would be able to pick anyone different from the squad we have available.

I thought exactly the same until recently but I still think that Ange has a lot of responsibility! Firstly, how can he have 1-2 injured players per game? The rhythm of the matches is certainly frequent and important but the choice of the group of 23 players is up to him (with Levy of course...). Managing training, recovery, etc. is the responsibility of the Manager! Then, the apathy shown at the edge of the field is infuriating! How many Managers let their emotions show to the team they lead. This afternoon alone, Wolves outrageously dominated the last 25 minutes and the inevitable has happened! Finally, and as I have already been able to say on this website, Ange has no tactical alternative in mind! Certainly he is not responsible for the penalty missed by Son but who continues to confirm Son in the starting eleven when he has been permanently below his level for weeks or even months. Werner is not good (who chose to extend him??), but he is almost every time more incisive and better than Son when he replaces him! It is still Ange who decides not to put more players in the middle, to possibly play one more central forward so as not to leave Solanke too alone? In short, he is not responsible for everything but Ange must also assume his position and his choices!

 

He has stated publicly multiple times how the recruitment process works. You want Gray to play in MF but who else can play at CB? If he starts Werner, you will slate him as despite how **** Son is, Werner is shitter. If we all out defend with no defenders and lose, you will complain he has no idea. He is trying to change our mentality as part of a project to make us successful in the long term. That means instilling a way of playing until it becomes normal. While we are getting there we will win some, lose some, that’s the reality. With more signings to fill the gaps we have we will change but it requires patience not continual moaning. Yes he could try and defend but he doesn’t have the squad to do much with and we are still in with a shout in all competitions currently. Negativity breeds defeat and with the constant negativity from our fans it doesn’t help anyone

 

I hear you and understand exactly what you are saying about the injuries. I think he does come out and take full responsibility? With the CF issue, what choice does he have? His only CF is Solanke. I’m not sure the players have the fitness to last the full 90 which is why we seem to be struggling in the last 20 or so each game at the moment. With the tactical approach, he is trying to change our fundamental approach which is why he is sticking to his guns. When all players know the system and follow it, it will become second nature longer term. If you think about it, think of the criticism he took for our ability to defend corners yet now we have improved in that area, nobody points out the improvement.

 

Dorrington is young but he is a defender why not played other teams do it

 

What nonsense no player will know this system until its second nature and the only reason we defend better is at set pieces we don’t have Vicario being bullied.what is his system ?Z. Attack and leave big gaps at the back and hope your centre halves can cover without pulling muscles.Wont work in premiership maybe in Scotland Have you not noticed the players are not enjoying losing every week he will be long gone before the players make this way of playing second nature
