I would suggest we have only ever been entertainers.... with a trophy here and there......
to suggest we will regularly win trophies doesn't sit with what we know we have ever been

We all might want to regularly win trophies but we haven't and we won't

if we want to be the best (or at least close to the others) we have to pay the best (or at least match the others)........
and I'm sure no-one wants to bankrupt the club

Loved the hoddle and ardiles days. Maybe because I was younger and maybe because the fa cup was more prestigious then. But it always felt like we were successful playing attractive football and winning a few cups. We used to have the most fa cup wins out of anyone.
Never lost an fa cup until I went to the Coventry one!!! Shared a house with 5 other guys and one was a Coventry fan

I agree. But that said we don’t seem to sign any entertaining players these days … such as a Klinsmann or Ginola or van der Vaart. We can develop the odd one but none come ready made.

Yes. I think we have a little bit of momentum. Biggest thing from last two games is Solanke is starting to look like a good buy, He works really hard and should leave son(if fit) a bit more space to play wider. Utd will play on the break against us so need vdv to have a good one

Lol. As the voice of reason, I would have to guess Mike.

Not saying I’m Werner’s greatest fan. But who would’ve you put in. At least he has experience and it’s a big game in a tricky stadium? Shame we have Richie and Odobert injured

Great half of football from us, with the sendoff just the cherry on top. Can’t take it easy now though … United look dangerous on the counter.

brilliant win which will be played down because of sending off which covers up how dominant we were.Van de ven was immense Verner poor again.Shame about Verner as some of his running with the ball is good but his finishing beggars belief.Still think mickey Moore looks the real deal even at 17

I agree Kulu played well but he does waste a lot of balls from good attacking positions .No doubt he is a midfielder and not a winger. Should have a good word for Solanke who looks a premiership striker

disagree about kulu Thought he was great , I think because has such an amazing work rate he gets misunderstood as he will have a few more errors.
Thought Solanke is great and proving those who wanted toney wrong
    Madders is back!
    Vdv is insane
    Ok. I’m exaggerating a bit but also…
    Werner was shite!!
