We have had two comebacks of sorts and everybody is praising Mason .Why did he not get it right at the start and why did he put on Moura.I believe that the improvement in the second half in both games came from Kane working harder than he has been lately and the fact that son has found some form.It may be that Mason and Kane changed the shape when 3 down but why did we seem to have no plan for the first half .watching the comments on match of the day the pictures of us trying to press were embarrassing which is down to coaching and more importantly lack of pace .Such a clear out needed and please Levy change your efforts to give Dier an extension on his contract or suffer the fans total disrespect.Southgate and Levy seem to think he is good which does not bode well for England.APPOINT NEW MANAGER NOW

I like to see passion in a manager but surely Klopp has taken it too far.He accuses ref of saying something to him when giving the yellow card but the fa have a recording where they say nothing was said.If so then Klopp should not be allowed histrionics and should have the book thrown at him.Won’t happen because it’s Liverpool .If it was Tottenham we would be looking at a large fine and suspensions.

 

Looking forward to the Palace game already. Hope Mason can solve the Porro question, but suspect he won't.
Maybe 3 5 2 with Richie up front and Danjuma in mid with Skipp keeping an eye out particularly for danger on right side. But unless our defenders can get a lot better hard to be optimistic about a clean sheet

I the answer is Porro & Danjuma.......its not a very good question

both very average and not PL top 6 (much like many in the squad)

 

I dont gamble these days, so its just a case of predicting for me. My final prediction will be after team sheets, but as I say ATM I think we will win

 

I think Porro will play, so we need to make better use of his strengths and minimize his weaknesses
Danjuma I dont know, its just a feeling I have for 352 and him in the mid

There is no Porro question… the boy is clearly good

But he’s a proper wingback/winger… like Perisic… he’s not a fullback

If you’re asking for him to be great defensively then you’re just asking to play 5 at the back… while playing 2 holding midfielders as well! that’s just embarrassing for a club like Spurs

Defensively the issues are widespread… they’re in central defence… we have 3 fricking centre backs on the pitch… and in central midfield… we have two fricking holding midfielders… and yes even up front… where none of the front 3 is remotely good on the press… bar Richie… don’t pin it on the wingback who you think has to be great at everything… that’s not his position! and he’s shown already that he can be plenty good

 

If Porro is a good wing back that means we are restricted in the way we play.Unless we use him in midfield we have to play 3 at the back because that is the only way to cover his weakness defensively.Not really what you want but surely a good coach can teach him defence.Most people wanted Emmerson gone but he is the exact opposite of Porro good defensively and poor attacking.Pity we can’t combine the best bits of each.Lots of teams have weaknesses at full back but are covered by good central defenders.I wonder if Porro would get as much flak if we had any semblance of a centre half instead of 2 ponies and a mad man.

If the side was stout across the park everyone would be raving about him… but it’s not and he’s being asked to defend far too much

Conte turned Victor Moses into a very good wingback just like that and won a title… so Porro is perfectly fine

Need to look at other areas on the pitch where we are well below par
