I’m a bit confused, it seems that if we win, it’s because the opposition are terrible, if we lose, it’s because we are terrible?

We have had Conte for a month which has included an international break but even in that short space of time we are seeing improvements. Formation, running and press have all improved in a very short space of time.

I don’t think it’s fair to include Mira as it’s a competition that no one actually cares about, was away from home and thus had a starting 11 that only 2 are regulars. Yes the squad should have done better but half are on their way out and the other half haven’t played for ages or are lacking confidence.

In the league, we have done exactly what we needed to do to get points…can’t really argue with that? If you then add the fact that we are pressing higher, running harder and shooting more, it’s an improvement.

I know you wanted to keep JM longer to give him more time but look at what he is doing at Roma…proving to be a wise decision to let him go. Poor Nuno was never right so we finally have the coach we need and week by week are getting better.

In all honesty between now and January, I don’t think it really matters about the scores, as long as the performances of the team continue to improve and we continue to look like we are getting better and better with the team we have now, that’s a great outcome.

If you really want yo measure a Conte against a result vs Liverpool in his 2nd month, good on you but IMO, if we put in a good performance, that is the most important thing for the next few weeks.

I couldn't give a **** about JM, my only gripe was the ridiculous agenda driven nonsense that was spouted.

People are bending over backwards to talk up Conte as if to prove some sort of point, but had Mourinho lost to Mura you wouldn't have said no1 cares, if we'd not registered a shot on target v Everton and struggled vs Leeds B team you'd all of been up in arms.

    I just don't like hypocrisy.

And this site smacks of it.

Like I said let's see what happens after Norwich when we play some proper teams.

We would have been…if we were playing defensive puntball…if we were playing like we have been for the last couple of weeks then the response would have been the same. Problem is, we all knew JM’s style which was why he wasn’t the best fit. Same goes for Nuno despite his promise of change of philosophy.

The hypocrisy is you don’t seem to have any real appreciation for what poch achieved and the anti Enid/Levy/squad attitude clouds everything else out despite the fact that they are trying to do the right thing by the club.

Another win without really impressing but it’s a good habit to get.Skipp developing into a good player but what has happened to Kane.He has been given the lowest mark of all the Tottenham players in the sky ratings for 6 out of the last 7 matches and that includes Sanchez and Doherty. We have no chance of selling for good money now.He has been over rated this season by the fact that he got two games for England against minnows. He looks so unfit and is one of the slowest players in the team by far therefore stops us being able to press from the front

Why do you feel they didn’t impress? In the last month, the improvement in the league is steady and the performances and results are getting better. We press from the front (Kane aside) and look pretty solid at the back (given we know our weak spots). Davies has been decent (because he is playing in a suitable position), Sanchez & Dier both seem to be improving and squad looking more balanced. I’m not saying we don’t want to sign 2 x CB because we do but given the players we have currently, it’s a great turnaround. As the coaches system is adopted and the players are learning their roles, we seem to be able to use players that were previously written off when needed. Yes we need signings but things are looking so much more promising for the remainder of this season and into next. Good win but more importantly, good result for our confidence and we seem to be learning when to sit and when to press/challenge for the ball (which is something that we haven’t done for a few years).

If Norwich had a goal scorer we could have been one down in the first five minutes and then they missed two further great chances so although I agree that Conte has brought some discipline to us I am still not convinced that we are out of the woods yet.The next three weeks will give us an idea,Don’t get men wrong I am still over the moon that we have a proper manager at last but he will need time and reinforcements

Great news today .Coronavirus strikes just when we are getting some confidence.Next four games could really spoil our season if we have to play without 6 first team players.

Brighton are without 8 1st teamers so there's no excuses.

Not good news... but let's assess the damage first

Rennes game will not be called off unless we can't field 13 players... Brighton game is up to the EPL

Love all these pundits deconstructing Kane at the moment

Yes he's 5 to 10% off his best (who can blame him for that really?) but all the criticism (and Conte) will have him back to his best soon enough

Be interesting to see what the league do about our forthcoming fixtures because of the covid outbreak.City had games postponed with less infected players so you would expect the same treatment.I know the Micky mouse European game has to be played and maybe that is a good thing because we can go out with dignity.I also know Brighton have a large injury list but the precedent for postponing games has been set and who knows how many more cases we will have before Sunday. There is a chance at the moment that there could be another shutdown

Games off, at this rate a break will have to be called again.

Coved must be bad if we have to pick Ali and Winks today

I have to say they both played well. Ali was a bit unlucky not to score
Also he gets lots of criticism but Dier has been real solid this year plus loads of super passes today. 3 minutes to go though!

After 2 weeks without a match for Spurs, between only 1 and 2 training sessions only for a lot of players, it's overall a good match against a team in full swing and which has the legs with 3 matches during the forced break of Spurs. I would have liked to win but satisfied in the end and the mentality of this team is clearly changing for the better!

Credit where credit is due best 90 minutes I have seen from Ali andWinks for about 3+years.We really should have won with the chances we created but the performance was better than anything I have seen for this season and last. Now we need to maintain it.
