    A tale of two halves...

First... tactically mystifying... no press... sat too deep on the pitch... paid the price and deservedly booed off the pitch

Second... concerted front press... backline pushed up... created consistent pressure and deservedly won the match

Hilarious to see the manager revving up the crowd in the end... super intense fellow... will be a success

Agreed atrocious for most of the game and Winks proved again he ain’t the answer.only good thing was the passion on the bench as apposed to the previous nonentity.it seems from post match comments from regy that training is intense so players may get fitter

The weakness of the squad is clear... central midfield

We only have 4 and two of them are named Winks and Skipp

The best of them apparently doesn't have the positional discipline that Conte desires... until we get a quality substitute in I consider this a mistake

There wasn't any tactical adjustment. That was an initial plan. Walk 1st period. Run the 2nd one. Conte admitted Spurs cannot play 90 minutes against Bielsa team. So he asked them to play only 45. It could have backfired. That is why Conte was so happy it did not. That would discredit him in the eyes of his players. Now he looks like a genius. It's quite possible he is.

Ignore my previous comment because if any one still thinks Felon is wrong about this squad then you are either blind or stupid.I was hoping that Conte would fire some of them up but I have to admit that that was the most embarrassing performance I have seen since the days of VillasBoas. We won’t be able to give away some of these losers?Sanchez caught out twice by the same move and as Hoddle said you would not expect a schoolboy to do this twice in a game although he was not helped by Davies losing the ball.Ali and Doherty would struggle in the third tier now.It is a sad day when you are pleased to see Dier coming on.Has anybody seen a team who are so poor at passing the ball and the lack of movement to help the man in possession. We are heading for the grand position of being the first English team to not make it out of the group stage of a third rate European competition.Conte must have been promised a vast transfer kitty or his ego is bigger than I think because he must know thar this rabble are relegation fodder

I've said 14 have to go for a good couple of seasons now... and recently changed that to 11.... as we lost a couple

DL will not let players go for below his value of them so we have been..... and will continue to he.....fecked.

Our squad has been below par since MP said it needed upgrading. And then JM said the same.
So what did DL do...... brought in NES who was too inexperienced to stand up to DL

Anyone want to bet that Conte will be Man U manager at the start of next season?

One thing must be said and that is Levy has cost us a large fee for Kane who is now a shadow of the player he was.Bad squad I agree but don’t excuse Kane from the shambles because tonight although he scored he was awful .Hopefully Poch will get the man united job and take him off our hands because City and Chelsea won’t want him

Tonight's result was worse than Zagreb.

This team is absolutely dead and needs a complete overhaul something I've been banging the drum on here for for a few years now.
Since we became rubbish under Poch.

Poch Mourinho Nuno and now Conte all getting the same results n piss poor performances at what point do you realise the squad isn't fit for purpose n a coalition of Pep n Klopp couldn't breathe life into it.

My God do you wet your pants at the first sign of trouble

Let's get real... abject result against a 3rd or 4th division side... even playing with 10 men for much of the game... but honestly who gives a ****?

What do you think the attitude would be around here if we actually won this competition? absolute derision or apathy at best? perhaps even a touch of embarrassment? so why are you losing your head over a game no one cares about?

Let me remind you that over the past year or two Felon82 has declared us inferior talent-wise to pretty much every side in the EPL

You wouldn't find a pundit anywhere who'd get paid to utter such rubbish

So to counter your ridiculous assertion... let me declare anyone who thinks Felon82 is right about this squad is an absolute unqualified dumbass

You really are in a world of your own Jose’s ghost.I saw 3 pundits last night destroy this performance Hoddle and Jenas on the after match did not hide their embarrassment .On sky Jamie Ohara had steam coming out of his ears. This from a tottenham ex player who was not the most gifted but could never have been accused as not giving it his all.So are you classing Glen and Jenas as dumbasses as you so politely put it or didn’t they get paid for their comments. In your mind is this the first sign of trouble .Where have you been for 3years.What would we say if we won this Cup well I would be chuffed because it would a first for twenty years.Just remember this squad is only second to last in goals scored in the premiership only saved last place by the great Norwich team.Dumbass???

This side with 1 of the top 5 managers in the World just lost to the lowest ranked side in Europe's 3rd tier competition.

(Even after bringing the big guns on.)

You really are an utter pillock and embarrassing yourself more n more every post.

Looking at the team that started last night we had Sanchez 40 million Ndombele 60million Sessengon 25 million Gil 21million Doherty 15million plus Kane who has a market value according to Levy of over100 million. That is a squad of over200 million struggling against minnows who would struggle in our championship. Is there any other club who have spent so much on players not up to the premiership.Teams like Norwich and Burnley would die for that sort of investment.Stephen Hutchins the main man for all our poor buys is still at the club in a senior position and that is another shame on Levy who really does not understand the football side of the club and I’m afraid until he goes we will continue to struggle. One difference so far with Conte is that he has said it like it is and has not followed Mourino in bull******* the players to pleaseLevy

Muras entire squad cost £6.7m, less than Jack Clark.
Mura didn't even exist as a football club when we last won a trophy.

Oh what planet are you living on to equate anything Hoddle or Jenas might say with the goon who drags his knuckles around here?

Just calm yourself... Spurs would have run away with it last night had they 11 men... as it was they dominated with 10... but again who really cares?

Where exactly have you been the last 15 years? apart from the odd rousing Champions League run this is typical European Spurs... we've never been bothered with the Europa so what makes you think anyone truly wants our name on this two-bit trophy? it's an absolute hindrance

As for the excruciatingly boring self-sabotage that's been served up on the pitch these past two years... you already know well who's responsible for that

I have said it before but this web site seems to have come to a stop as the people who said we had a great squad that just needed coaching better have gone into hiding.Apart from about 5 regulars the postings have dried up.I don’t agree with some of the uttering of Jose’s ghost but at least he has an opinion and is not frightened to share it.Come on all you so called members have an opinion at least

I see you are back to personal insults Jose’s ghost when nobody agrees with you.If you believe that we would have won easily without the sending off then you are deluded. The ten men on the pitch should have still brushed this third rate team aside but you have to have shots on target to win. It’s not that we are not bothered it’s that we ain’t good enough.I agree that Mourino made us so boring but don’t use that for this latest debacle.I suppose your opinion is based on your inside knowledge of the game when Hoddle andJenas know nothing. We had over 200 million of (talent) on the pitch their best squad is worth 7 million

It’s been 3 weeks for Conte and the shambles helped him identify the players to keep and those not to in real time a lot easier as he had to be seen to give everyone a chance.

We did have players who cost far more and that should have easily won the game but we had players that had not been playing regularly, who are clearly not fitting in to Contes plans and are therefore obviously on their way out.

Only 2 of the players that would usually start played from the off and when you go down to 10 men, away from home, in any completion it’s difficult but even more so in the depths of Europe on a Thursday night.

I agree with both sides on this one, yes we should have won but it’s a competition that quite frankly, no one actually cares if we win and that causes more harm than good to our main priority which is finishing in the top 4.

Our squad has some players that are good enough to keep and has others that Conte himself has called out as not being to the level required to keep.

Let’s see how we go over the next 6 weeks in the league as well as who we sign in January.

We now have a coach of far greater pedigree than poor Nuno who simply was the wrong man in the wrong club. We also have a coach with a track record of winning that is up there with JM but without doing it by boring teams and fans to death.

No alarm for me after Thursday, the sooner we are past travelling miles to play in games in a completion that literally no one cares about is over and we can start focusing on league games, the better.

Conte has the courage to call it as he sees it publicly and the balls to expect from our chairman rather than just sitting 10 men behind the ball. That’s a win for me. Part of coaching a team is building fitness, changing diets, working on formations, changing mindsets and identifying who works with your system and who doesn’t. It seems to me that Conte is doing a better job of that far quicker than his predecessors. We are now increasing our energy and effort and covering more ground higher up the pitch. Kane is included in the lot to be sold for re-building for me and let’s just hope that with the other clear and obvious ones such as Doherty, Ndombele and Alli, they go in January and we get the “new coach effect” to power through the second half of the season from a reasonable spot in the league from this half.
