Big game on Saturday against united.In 2020 we beat them6-1 and 10 of our player are still in our squad and united still have eleven of their players in their squad so same result ???

 

Their manager is equally as bad as ours so anything is possible

They have a better squad but we’re at home… call it a draw

 

Needs some entertaining players 1st.
It's quite clear that when Spurs broke Kane it's just exposed how much he's carried the club coz we literally have naff all going forward now, even Sons looking woeful without Harry supplying him.

Don't try telling me the likes of Bergwijn LoCelso Moura are anything more than average players.
If you want entertaining you get the best you don't make do with the likes of Davies for 8 years and counting.

 

I don't totally agree. Certainly, the transfers have not lived up to our expectations for 2-3 years but currently, the team is playing at 10 players only ! Ok Kane was carrying the team offensively in the recent past but here we start the match by 10 men against 11 so you can put all the best players you want on this team, we are going to have a hard time winning as long as a ghost like Kane (for whom I have immense respect and which I still really like despite everything ...) since he is back last september ...!

 

Spurs have not broken Kane he has done that himself by his attitude.Yes we should have transferred him but this is the England captain and you don’t just down tools .Who will buy him on current form

We will lose 1-3. They have got Ronaldo. We got non-Kane. Ndombele will keep passing ball to red shirts, although we may see Dele starting instead. Locelso will play right wing, there is no other wide MF available. It is time for Nuno to start 3 back, but he won't and that will cost us.

 

If Dele is anywhere near the team Nuno should be sacked immediately

 

They have, he gave up carrying this team when Levy sacked Mourinho 5 days before a cup final.

Now if we had a proper squad then it could all be handled better but unless people want Dane Scarlet to lead the line itl be fed up Kane until he's sold.
And it will as it has exposed just how much he's carried this club when the circus acts around him can't string 3 passes together let alone forwards towards goal.

 

I think all spurs fans appreciate what Kane has done for club but don’t tell me that justifies the total lack of effort he is now showing.This is the England captain and his own pride should at least want him to perform at a decent level.I think he is trying to push Levy to let him go in January and not keep him till end of season.Surely if he wants clubs to bid for him he should be surely show them he is still in form.There is no way a footballer being paid more a week than most of us earn in a year should never give everything.This is the club that has nurtured him from a youth player so don’t try to justify tools down because he was stupid enough to sign a six year contract and trust the bald gnome.It’s a a shame that he tarnishing his reputation to be a Tottenham legend along the greats like Jimmy greaves.I will wish him all the best when he moves as long as he shows pride till the end and stops being a total ****

 

maybe if Kane pushed himself and had scored plenty of goals..... Levy could still demand £120m (perhaps more as it will be the Jan window)

a sub-standard Kane may well mean a sub-standard fee..... so he can p!ss Levy off by going cheaper

 

It's crazy how Kane has a dip in form and everyone is on him yet players like Dele Alli, Lamela, Winks etc were offered endless time 'to come good' those pansies get all the kid glove treatment Lamela left being touted as a legend by some.
Bergwijn has been awful LoCelso, Doherty, Sessegnon the list is endless but Kanes off the boil and fans are scapegoating him.

 

The fans did not take Kane as a scapegoat for pleasure ... His current level, his significant lack of commitment, his wanderings on the field, his lack of leadership compared to the last 4-5 seasons are what make him even he is easy prey. It is up to him to also assume his duties in relation to his immense salary and his relationship with Tottenham supporters! It is useless to compare him to average players. For example Lucas ... He runs everywhere and is fully engaged all the time but in the end, he is and will remain an average player. We cannot blame him for his lack of commitment. Like all the others, or almost. This is not the case for Kane!

 

Sorry Felon but you can’t compare Kanes down tools with the other squad players because his talent far exceeds the others you mention .Lack of ability is not the same as downing tools. Interesting comments from Nuno yesterday about the squad commitment not being what it should be.Fairly obvious from recent team selection that Winks and Ali are amongst the non committed.I was never in favour of Nunos appointment but fair play to the man for being honest about the players commitment. It has been obvious for a while now that there is a cancer in the dressing room and should be removed even if it has to be done on the cheap.It’s a pity that politics in football don’t allow name and shame as I believe supporters have a right to know who is wage stealing as we do pay their wages.Why if players don’t honour what they are there for can’t the club stop paying them as would happen in any other walk of life.Being a premier league footballer must be the best job going and yet so many abuse it

 

I haven’t seen one person say Lamela, Alli or Winks would come good, same with anyone saying that Doherty is any good.

Kane has let himself down by his lack of effort and desire . He should have been sold when he stated he wanted to leave but he wasn’t and given the huge amount he is paid, he should now be giving everything, in every game, until the January window opens. Not only is he not chasing and closing but when he is getting opportunities, he is not finding his teammates with any conviction and his shots are half hearted at best. Best all round if he is sold and we use the money to try and sign at least 3 players in areas we do need but I’m certain that fans of most other clubs are not that fussed on him so getting any kind of decent fee other than from Newcastle is going to be very difficult now.

 

In today’s game, we have Davies instead of regulion, who is more defensive and then 6 of the 9 subs are defenders. I think I know what the game plan is!

 

What has happened to the club I have loved for 60 years.Never have I been so embarrassed to admit it.Whatever you think of the quality of the players we have been saddled with by the ignorance of Levy it is not the worse one on paper in the premiership but it is certainly playing like the worse.When you wish for Mourino to come back then I know we have reached rock bottom.This current manager is so far out of his depth and I feel sorry for him because he should never have been given the job.Davies recalled for his defence and responsible for 2 goals Ali off the subs bench Moura replaced by Bergwin Celso starting need I go on and Kane once again pathetic but not pulled off.The man is clueless and once again we have no shots on target.I really do think that this squad needs a reality check and we should bring in some one like Dyche who won’t be intimidated by the wage stealers and would be made to work for their excessive paydays

 

I agree we need a better manager but things have really got bad when you are saying Dyche will be the saviour!
