Remind me when Poch was ever a master of this?

There are plenty of players in these sides that would walk into our 1st team and improve it.

I suppose you're 1 of these people that think LoCelso is misunderstood talent, Dier & Sanchez were scapegoats, Dilly Dally hard done by.

They're awful players besides the talentless Winks Bergwijn Doherty Davies Gollini etc

When we have people touting Tanganga & Rodon as 2 of our better players it really does say something.

But of course the manager is the 1 not getting top 4 levels out of these absolute clowns.

N you have the audacity to talk about others judge of talent.

Ndombele was getting plaudits for completing 90mins and people talk him up like he's a world beater, he's only turned up for Sheff Utd n Newcastle in 2 seasons its embarrassingly bad this squad.

And now they've finally broken Kane (who's carried this club) their awful averageness has been exposed even more so.

Why does the fact that Poch was poor at subs justify Nuno being worse.you are building this man up to be a possible world beater. When he gets sacked before Christmas watch the rush to sign him up.

You cannot project the past into future. Levy as of late spent enough for this club to be competitive, BTW. His two windows without refreshing are in the rear mirror. They are hurting still, but stingy he is not any longer. Whether his acquisitions any good is a different question. Ask Felon82. Similarly, you cannot expect Nuno to make Wolves out of Spurs. As far as I am concerned, he could make anything out of this group. All I know the squad is now stabilized at its core; the marginal players are set as well. The B team is hopeless. The A team is playing better inch-by-inch. The results depend on opposition. We cannot play Newcastle United every week.

I do not expect that to happen
I my opinion the Spurs supporters must be ignored for a little while. They do not know good from bad. Right from left. Up from down.

Here we go again, how on earth am I building Nuno up ?
Next il be his biggest fan again.

Jeez it's quite simple if you don't have good players you don't have a good team you don't play good football.

It's like racing with an inferior car, boxing a person twice the height of you, playing tennis with a wooden racket.

You're genuinely deluded if you think another manager with the same players completely transforms this mess where 2-3 others have lost their jobs over it.

    Utterly delusional

Nobody has said that this squad could be world beaters with a different manager .I am just saying that we need to start at the beginning with a rebuild and that means getting a manager who is ready for the big job and that man ain’t Nuno and that is not delusional as you so elegantly put it

I said many months ago that 14 players need to go......
I still think that...... just add Kane and the manager as well......
.... and ENIC... but that won't happen

I have nothing against Nuno. And given free handling of transfers he may well have us in a better situation..... but he wasn't so we aren't.
He certainly isn't the high energy post match interviewee that he was at Wolves. Is he frustrated by the management above..... who knows

Kane just doesn't really want to be here..... and it shows.
The issue is that his talent won't leave him (.... injuries aside)..... so whoever gets him cheaply will get a bargain....... because we aren't getting £120m anymore

    Time for a complete change

  11. Spurs have plenty of good players and plenty of average ones too

What they absolutely don’t have is a good manager

Just like United… the 2nd most expensive side on the planet and a better squad than ours these days… you can see where that’s gotten them

I like most Spurs fans don’t expect us to win anything of note anytime soon… that window is closed… what I do expect is not to be bored to death every single Sunday by some unimaginative dud trying his best to grind out a Europa spot in the most tedious and unattractive way

Who's ready for the weekly installment of why did Nuno start X/Y/Z & not A/B/C ?

When the reality is they're all pretty samey no matter what combination you go with (basically out of form, uninterested, not very good, don't care)

And it all be a bloke on the touchline fault not the squad not being fit for purpose.

    Exciting times

    You tell us ?

I know people think you just play the same 11 for every match but football is a squad game and our squad is completely unfit for purpose.

A win is a win that is all I can say.luckily I lost the stream after 65 minutes of the game after the most turgid rubbish I have seen this year.At least Nuno managed to use his subs better.Kane a complete disgrace again .still his godfather will still pick him for England

Didn't I predicted a win? Next time don't even bother to watch...
You missed Nuno changing the original 4-2-3-1 to 4-1-4-1 after Son and Ndombele replaced Skipp and Steve and then changed tactical setup to 5-4-1 when Spurs got under siege whilst sitting on their lead. Rondon went in for LoCelso.

The expected trashing of WHU by vast superior and close to perfectly coached ManCity didn't happen, did it? PEP LOST TO WHU. Making Pep equal to Nuno and Spurs to MCFC.

When you have a broken car, you can continue fire driver and after driver and nothing will change.

Sure, the car has many excellent parts, the tyres are brand new and so is the battery. The rest is old and engine is clunky, but there are no reasons to believe that it is an old junk.

  18. If your car is valued as a Mercedes (and costs as much to maintain) then yes you absolutely fire the guy who wants to drive it like a Morris Minor

Nuno has history… nothing has changed… a quarter into the season and Spurs are 19th in attempts on goal… 7th most conceded… that’s utterly utterly pathetic and something I have zero interest in watching

As I made clear from the beginning it was an absolute dud of a hire and anyone who defends it or thinks it was good is either clueless or in bed with our delusional chairman
