Another awful performance in terms of quality but great in result. This type of performance won’t get us that many good results in the future. Unless we buy at least another 3 players including a midfielder who can create we will struggle. Why would we keep a waster even a talented one like Ndombele and not play him while he takes his exhorbitant salary to sit at home. With a week to go is Levy doing his smoke and mirrors trick and we will sign no one and keep wasters like Winks Dier and Sissoko. At least we are better off than the arse

Last week of the transfer window and we seem to be more interested in signing a player just to loan him backI believe Starr is a real talent for the future and it would be a good long time purchase but surely priority is players to go straight into the first team now.If Starr is as good as they say why loan him back get him to the club now and let him learn about the premiership. So many rumours and not a lot of action at present or are we going to do the normal and take last minute second rate players .

What are Clarke & Sessegnon that we spunked best part of £40m on 2 seasons ago talents for the future?
Coz they don't even look like Premier League standard let alone top 4 or more.
All this buying for the future is just a complete con.
The big clubs buy for now, we're permanently planning for a future that never arrives.

First and foremost, yesterday's victory is important because Wolves was overwhelmingly superior for two-thirds of the match. This victory is the tree that hides the forest ...! In case of injury, the bench is unworthy of the premier league ....
For weeks, we can read every day an incalculable number of players likely to interest us and to come to strengthen us with in the end nothing or almost nothing that materializes ... And there is only one week left to hope to see the arrival of one or two defenders, at least one recovering midfielder and one or even two offensive players! Instead, Levy doesn't take action and Nuno does with what he has. He does it well by the way but that lies largely in luck. So Levy wake up and quickly!

Anybody else notice Sevilla have won their first two games and a certain Eric Lamela has scored 3 goals for them already including the last minute winner on sunday

Think the club and Nuno have made it abundantly clear that winks sissoko aurier have no future but the difficulty is moving them on... They are on decent money for thier ability and living the London life its for thier agents to find the solutions

As I have already said why are we spending 17 million on a player to lend back,.I know he is only18 but surely he is better than Winks and Sissoko. As felon stated we have signed Clarke and Sessengon in the same way and look what that has done!!We are desperate for a midfielder a centre half and a striker and what happens if we are short in our bid by the money we have spent on a player we are giving back.So much depends on the Kane solution or are we going down the Berbatov route where we have no time to spend what we receive.I can’t decide if Levy is doing a good thing refusing to negotiate or should he have taken 125 million and spent it on new players.I do believe that Kane will perform if he does not go because he needs to keep his England place .The worst news at the moment is that we are still stuck with at least8 dead woods that we can’t even give away.Maybe we have some surprise swaps on the way

Who was manager when these numpties were signed or their contracts extended?
So much long term damage was caused towing company line still suffering with at least 6 players who've massively outstayed their welcome but all got extended and bumper contracts.
Now we're held to ransome over them 2 managers and a waterboy later.

A good win and a good match to watch :)

All played well & it was nice to see people who were selected for their footballing ability rather than for their size. Size matters, mostly for areas of the pitch where winning headers might be critical but for other areas then footballing ability should be the deciding factor on who plays.

Needed Kane to drag us through a Europa Conference League qualifier play off.

Because we won 3-0 against Pacos it would seem the 1st leg abysmal performance is forgotten n everything is great again hell Winks might get another 5 years out of it.

1 or 2 injuries to this team and we're completely fvcked.
Paritici needs to get his finger out n get some quality in else we're gonna get found out very soon.

It’s a weird one this year…Sissoko to Watford £3M, some of the others that needed to go have gone. We still really need to move Aurier and would be best all round to move Ndombele.

The signings are a tad random though. We have signed Sarr and immediately loaned him back to Metz. We look likely to sign Moriba from Barcelona, who really knows if he is any good or not but he is very young.

We don’t seem to be signing anyone that can actually play now and make a difference?

Ronaldo’s u-turn to Utd is brilliant and has shoved one in City but does that mean the Kane saga might return? If selling Kane for huge money is the only way for us to sign the 3 or 4 players we need to improve the side now, we really need to get a shift on and agree it if it is eventually going to happen as next year he will be worth £30m less. If we are keeping Kane, we really need to whip out £100m and go for Bissouma, Tomiyasu and Traore

Paratici still have time to come back with whatever Wolves want for Adama. After that I think that's it. Spurs are done. Romero is the only one that can play now. And the jury is out for Brian.
By all means we signed the best England player in Harry Kane. On the cheap, way on the cheap...

Glory glory alleluia we are top and the arse are bottom. Can’t get carried away really because the football entertainment was zero and brought back early memories of the Mourino reign. We really can’t have Ali as a midfielder as we are desperate for invention.Son is far better on left and we should have played Moura or Gil on the right and left Bergwin on bench. He does put a shift in but his final ball is rubbish.Paratici should be using the last days of the window trying to get a class midfielder. One improvement is Sanchez long may it last

We look very much like Jose in his latter days, eking out 1 - 0 wins. Only game against Man C provided some entertainment in terms of counter-attacking football. We were dominated by Wolves, aimless against Watford but lucky to come away with wins.

Nuno will probably stick with Bergwin until he finds out like Jose did that Lucas is a better option.

at the start of a season I'll take eeking out 1-0 wins rather than losing. It at least gives us points.

Plenty still to do of course but played 3 won 3 is a great start.
But the back 4 still worries me. As does Alli in 3 nan midfield. I think if you allow him and Hojbjerg to go forward..... that's a lot of responsibility on Skipp...... remembering behind him is Sanchez & Dier

Also I didn't think Kane looked very happy all game. Didn't seem like his heart was in it.
