UCL and UEL are the UEFA competitions. They cannot ban anyone legally because the REASON is not in their laws. They had hard time handling punishments for racism due to same, fgs.
However, it is not the time to consider courts for MCFC and CFC. They want win UCL this year and collect this year money from UEFA. Spurs timely got out of UEL, they will not budge, but Arsenal and MU might back off, since UEFA refuse to negotiate. Pool has no reasons to withdraw.
They all will rejoin the group once UEFA money is pocketed by those still in it. PSG didn't move perhaps for that reason. They also awaiting July coming. So should you, Preed.

What a load of absolute tosh spurporter.Have you seen that all the premiership teams have withdrawn from the joke competition now unfortunately the only one who did not apologise to the supporters was Levy. The competition is. gone so I don’t have to wait till July.

This latest ESL debacle just another catastrophic failure to add to the list of them from old Danny boy.

These w@nkers need hounding out of the club I've been calling it for years, they're not interested in the team/football, they don't give a sh;t about us fans, the stadium wasn't built so we could compete, they've put us in an incredible amount of debt, we've just seen the latest Manager casualty thrown out the door, we have an awful squad that needs heavy investment and it's currently being baby sat by a 'manager' with no experience a sidekick who's biggest accolade is being Charlton manager in league 2 n just to top it all off we are a laughing stock not only in the league but nationally and across Europe now.

I've seen some terrible players, results, performances, sackings etc in 30years of supporting the club never have I been embarrassed to say I'm a Tottenham fan but that time has truly come.

What an awful example of a 'modern' club we are.

    An absolute embarrassment & disgrace.

If only our defenders could backtrack that quickly...we would be in next seasons champions league by now

I don’t always agree with Felon but I don’t understand your post THFC saying he is backtracking because in my experience he has always said we have an awful squad and Levy is an embarrassment.I did not always agree with his trust in Mourino but I don’t see any change of opinion.I really hope mason makes a good fist of the rest of the season but could you see any of the other top sides putting someone in charge with so little experience

I was agreeing with Felon...the backtracking from Levy was mighty quick

No surprise there then I apologise for getting the meaning incorrect

My guess is DL is hating the fact he has had to pull out of a certain money maker.
He must be looking at the bank balance thinking he is fecked now.

I don't see any money for players again in the summer. It will be business as usual...... sell before you buy..... and no-one wants our sh!te

The only person making money is JM. (well played him)

Oh well.....lets see how Mason starts.......

I have a complaint Dier playing.I think Rodon is cup tied for Sunday so makes sense that he is not included but I would rather see Tanganga or even Davies instead. The rest was predictable.Let’s hope Mason has ignited some fire in Bale

Options are soo limited we are somewhat where we are.
Dier and Aurier in a defence is worrying.
NDombele and Lo Celso in midfield also.

more interesting is how the team are being asked to play.
The midfield and defence under JM were restricted.
I'd like to see the LB and RB up square (and just in front) of Hojbjerg..... so his passes are forwards.

We just need to show a will to score rather than a need not to concede

A win is a win I suppose but the usual suspects were still playing and embarrassing themselves. Is there another Brazilian footballer with such a poor first touch other than Moura.I am still trying to see a premiership player in Ndombele who looks half asleep all the time.De celso has been out for so long it is understandable he does not look up to the pace but his decision making is so poor.I am pleased for Mason but don’t kid yourself that he will turn it round especially as he seems to like Winks.Bale still shows moments of class and a football brain shame the pace has goneReggie looks good going forward but defensively a nightmare. We definitely improved second half so why can’t we start like that. Finally I noticed the smug chairman had the Gaul to turn up?Oh by the way lloris was excellent

Aurier, Dier, NDombele, Lo Celso & Moura are poor. We will always struggle with them on the pitch.

NDombele is like a 50 year old man who once used to be a footballer. embarrassing.

nice note from Mason about Ugo

Well the 1st half was same old same old load of half hearted displays getting beaten to everything.
2nd half much improved 1st time the players have tried in months, if that's the new Manager bounce though it was hardly a finger up to the previous manager.
A pen to win it on 90mins v a poor Saints team minus ings which killed everything they had going forward.
Goal was taken well by Bale.

2 points off top 4 roll on the final gonna need to go up 4 gears and a whole 90+ minutes if we're to have any hope whatsoever.

Just imagine Mason gets top 4 n a cup he'd be our most successful manager since Burkinshaw

Wow the 4 time Champions League winner actually scored a nice goal again... what clunky manager in the world wouldn't play him if he was fit?

Bale has played the equivalent of 7 games and scored 6 goals (2 assists)

Would have scored 20 this term if not for the defensive egotist... a proper waste of a year

Well the players & levy now have what they like to have a cuck 'in charge' and there'll be absolutely no change to where this club is going or the mentality.

A 90th minute penalty Vs a team in 14th with 6 wins in their last 20 and we're back turned a corner ......

Given the circus of the ESL and the sacking of JM, the result was good but more importantly the performance (especially in the second half) was good.

We have a decent run to the end of the season and if we can get to the Leicester game with 4 wins, we have every chance of a top 4 place which would be a great outcome

Writing about team-selection after the match feels a bit like cheating - already knowing the outcome but still...

I am happy that the formation was not 4231, I have a strong dislike against that one.
Dier over Rodon is/was debatable. I've heard the argument for Dier, possibly it was the right choice - since there was a win. Both Son and Moura does better playing centrally than out wide, Bale is a very good inverted winger (also going in centrally). A narrow formation unless the FBs provide width.

First half was bad. Outworked, outpressed and Saints could easily pass through the Spurs midfield. Ings goal was a great one. Lucky to be down only by one.
Not sure what changed in the 2nd half. Ings off but even before that Saints looked more passive, defensive and reactive. Possibly instructed to defend the lead, possibly nervous about holding a lead for once or possibly Spurs changed and pushed them back.
The goal by Bale was great one, the penalty was a lucky one.

I'd rather see Winks than Sissoko so that sub was to my liking. Unsure about Lamela, good to see Bergwijn again.

Maybe saints were poor in the 2nd half but you can only beat what is in front of you so a nice win.

Some people are so easily turned.I agree with Felon beating a team like Southampton with a fortunate last minute penalty is not the start of a new era.We should have been at least 2 down at half time and only lloris saved us.As I said I am pleased for Mason and he obviously said something at half time to shake things up but if we start against City like that we will be beaten before half time.Still don’t want Dier any where near the team but he seems to lead a charmed life.
