Another poor performance after being presented with 2 goals we miss chances to put the tie to bed and then collapse in the last 20 minutes.Taranga head and shoulders above the rest in quality and fitness.Sanchez who was good on Sunday was total rubbish tonight. Our fitness is alarming and I believe is a result of pochetino running them into the ground. We must get a centre forward because Moura is not the answer too lightweight and can’t hold the ball up.Son needs help as he is trying too hard to do it all on his own.I don’t want to get on Mourinos back this early but why does he keep playing Ericson ?Hopefully Fernandes will take that option away.Decelso was not as good as Saturday but he does look promising and wants to go forward.Lamela comes in for a lot of criticism on this site but give me his desire over the carthorse Dier.Maybe when ndombele is fit we have the basis of a midfield .All we want know is a proper defence .wouldnt a clean sheet be nice even against lower league teams

Tanganga looks a real good prospect , Lamela I'm not his biggest fan but he lead by example last night and by far our most attacking threat.
The game itself was a damp squib lots of players just seemingly going through the motions , one thing is for sure the level will need to upped considerably if we're to have any success in this competition.
You look at players in that team like Dier and just wonder what's happened to them , at one point you'd at the very least call them sturdy prem players now they just look sloppy lethargic void of any talent it's baffling.
    Sanchez was very poor also.

The atmosphere was like a morgue.

Didn't stay up to watch the match. Going to watch it now. Gary Stevens likened Spurs to a polo sweet i.e. nothing in the centre to describe midfield problems. I hope it's not a game of pumping long balls forward again.

    Here's my question................

Tanganga has a good game. Looks big, strong and powerful on the run
Certainly needs some positional sense and 'games under his belt'....but there is a player in there. ..potentially a jolly good player

Will JM allow him to cement a RB spot?
Or will he be left out of games with Aurier (or another) put back in?

If you look at a lesser club....a player like Tanganga will be set in stone at RB....and will go from a £1m player to a £30m....who we will then attempt to buy!
Can we not just give the lad a good chance to succeed.

Tanganga gives me the same kind of feeling as when I first saw Ali. Calm, composed and confident. I think he will get a decent run of games. Looks like KWP is really on his way out.

He had body poisoning, as a result of failed appendectomy surgery. Was sick almost whole last season. Had another surgery last summer. He is still recovering from what was life threatening illness. That is why he was used very little, but is getting better. He is only 26. We got him as 20 year old for only 4 million. Watch him getting back to England as a matter of time.

Supporter where did you get the info on Dier because if true it would explain why he looks exhausted all the time.Surely spurs should have published something to keep us informed and if true it may have stopped the constant criticism

Fer Ged Son will wear No 30. Last time, I recall, it was Sandro wearing 30. Hope he is not a new coming.

Finished watching the match. Wouldn't have complained even if I had stayed up at 4 am to watch it:).

I can see another couple of loans coming in (with an option to buy)
given our history at least we can pay a smaller outlay....and if they aren't up to it....we can decline the purchase

Gedson will give us an alternative to Ndombele. This guy is quick and can carry the ball forward. Dier, hope he picks ups with a couple more games.

The quicker CE leaves the better i feel sorry for anyone playing midfield with him, as he is having very little effect on the game. I don't mind him coming off the bench if needed, however, i hope he is moved on this TW.

I like sess, Loc, Tanguy and Tanganga they are what the squad has needed young fresh talented players. Having youth in the 1st team stops thing's from going stale and keeps the old pros on their toes.
Hopefully adding Gedson will also bring youth and quality into the squad.

Slowly thing's are starting to take shape i think a back four/five is the way to go with
    Serge Tanganga sanchez toby sess.
The midfield is the biggest problem finding the right balance Tanguy's groin injury has put a spanner in the works. Winks, Loc and ali is the best we can do at the moment, gedson needs to prove himself and Tanguy needs to get fit. Dier is the last resort but is very limited.

The spurs attack looks short with Lamela, son and Moura the only options. A striker needs to come in Jan and another wide attacker in the summer.

Jm needs to work out the best 11, who will follow his instructions, at the moment having players who aren't happy around is not good and these players need to be moved on as soon as possible.
