I think the appropriate response to that is 'touche' - shame my IT skills don't run to an accent!

Amazing! It was as if Pochettino was in the room - or was it Billy Connolly?

Another shocking display and surely Mourino has learnt a lot about his back up players.I can’t remember spurs passing the ball to one of their team mates for more than 2 passes.Things learnt :Walker peters is nowhere near premiership standard.Ericson couldn’t tackle a paper bag and unfortunately it looks as though de celso is the same.Moura cannot play up front on his own and Dier surely must now have convinced Mourino that he is no longer of the standard required. Only good things were sessengon getting a good goal and Skipp at least showing some fight and prepared to fight for the ball.Surely we need 2 or 3 good buys in transfer window,.Just seen Mourino after match comments and it was obvious he was not pleased and said he had learnt a lot and I don’t think he meant good things but credit he did not name names but it was obvious he will behind closed doors.Dont be surprised if quite a few are gone by next year. Finally what a shame that Ericson who has been great for us in the past has now become a liability and his price must be falling day by day

So it was poor, but some or was it several were shite - Rose not good enough any more, likewise Dier - a real Mr Plod, Eriksen only there because it was a dead rubber, but honestly why bother...… we missed our few chances that we should have buried. Cringeworthy night.

Agree it was a poor all round performance, however, it was a good chance to asses the squad players. Foyth, Locelso and Sess should be regulars on the bench and deserve minutes you could add skipp who gets around the pitch faster than Dier, however, not sure what he would add. The other player to consider for regular bench time is Parrot, again not sure what he brings.
Dier is ok against teams like Burnley, however, Bayern are a world apart. Dier is a squad player at best, Spurs need to get a CDM asap. Coys

I wasn't expecting a win but I expected a better fight. We could hardly keep possession of the ball. Dier was a spectator and just ball watching. KWP didn't look comfortable and easy to bully off the ball. Lo Celso look off the pace. Sess, the only bright spark among those hoping to get into first team regularly.

Sometimes more can be learned from losses than from wins, from this one:
Sessegnon to have the potential to become a great winger
The midfield was (again) so easily bypassed that it was almost embarrassing
Moura reminds me of Jermain Defoe, can be great but might not be able to play up front alone
Lo Celso is not a speedy winger, might be better to play him centrally
A back four who never played together did about as expected. Maybe one or both of the young ones in the back four might benefit from going out on loan.

Just watched Bournemouth beat the Chavs, very impressed with Jeff. Lermer. Would take him in DM over Dier all day long. Coys

Easy to look good in a team set up to defend much more difficult when your playing that role with a front 4 and a full bk pushing on. Picks up a lot of yellows does lerma. Need to be looking at a next level player tbf. Great result tho for us. Win our next two then will probably be in the top 4.
