I have given up on Mp long term, however, for the remainder of the season i expect a coach paid 8m a year to see the flaws in the diamond formation and change to a more suitable system that the players understand and are comfortable playing. At present the front 3 are not defending the wide areas, leaving the 3 in midfield exposed and pulled all over the place trying to support fb and plug holes in the middle. Spurs have the players to put out solid formations 4411 ,343,4231 or 433, hopefully Mp ditches the diamond and selects the right players. Coys

I say drop those that do not want to play for the club and start the ones that do. I would rather we play our youngsters going forward, surely can't get any worse? Oh and when is Lucas going to finally get a run of games? What is MP's problem with him?

Shane wants those who do not want to be at the club dropped this could mean spurs playing at least 8 players who are not regulars as I suspect at the moment only Kane andWinks want to play. The reason Lucas does not play regularly is because he’s great when we are on top but disappears in a battle and never seems to press or win the ball back although he’s not alone there

I'm with Shane on this one. Sanchez has to play now regular to prepare for life without Toby as much as I love him. I'd throw tanganga in too.
Has to go bk to basics which means a double mid pivot bringing dier bk into the mix. Get parrot on the bench.
The difficulty being though this will be pochs last game if we get beat so it's a gamble for him.
I said before soton game he had 3 games to save his job with bayern almost a free hit but the score and the manner of that defeat as gone against that notion.
My 11 would be lloris sissoko sanchez tanganga Rose. Dier ndombele alli son moura Kane. Subs gazza kwp Toby Jan winks lamela parrot

If I were Pochettino and I want to get out of Spurs really fast, I will leave out those players who wants to leave and throw in young players to see if they can rise above the occasion. I think that would be suicide and Pochettino is not dumb enough to do that and sabotage his dream move to Real Madrid.

It's idealistic for to think that young players can come into the senior team and perform well because they are hungry. In recent years, I can only recall seeing Alli and telling myself that he is ready to replace Mason and Bentaleb. A lot of people call for Parrot to be given a run but when he started against Colchester and produced nothing, many cursed him.

Realistically, among the squad players only Sanchez had a good season and if given a run of matches, he might get back his form. KWP and Foyth don't have a decent season under their belts to expect them to shoulder a lot of responsibility.

It's going to be a long season. and no easy solution. We will definitely get dragged back. I would be happy if we can remain in Top 4. We are simply paying for not investing in players and renewing the squad when we know fully well that we do not have backups and players are running down their contracts.

Who is to blame? Pochettino said that he was happy with the squad when no players were brought in for two consecutive transfer windows and licked Levy's boots by telling the media that Levy asked him if he needed to bring in some players. Now he's distancing himself and telling the media that he has no say in transfers and that the club need to be more ambitious in their transfer activity.

Pochettino is becoming more and more two-faced.

This and his dire football has made me dislike him.

I started having doubts about his commitment when he started washing dirty linens in public and distancing himself from the transfers. It's like telegraphing to potential suitors that he's not happy and "come bail me out". I think he did his fair share to unsettle the team.

Spurs being Spurs, it could be 7-2 to us, 7-2 to them, or anything in between. We've certainly got our Spurs back!

I see in the press pochetino says he is staying another 5 years Please make this be a joke.Interesting stat on talk sport today spurs in 2019 have the lowest points of the teams who have been in the premiership for the whole period.Any other club would have sacked the manager long ago.

I am watching the total collapse of a football team who on current form are heading very quickly towards relegation.I guarantee Brighton will be in bottom half all season but we are making them look like Real Madrid.I can not think of one player who has even looked Premiership standard. We are yards slower than all the teams we have played recently and lack any fight or pride.I keep hearing that we will lose the spine of the team at the end of the season but apart from those whose contract are up would any club bid for these jokers and that includes Kane who is fast becoming close to static lamp post. Why was Sissoko at full back instead of winning the ball in midfield. What a terrible performance by our new saviour in midfield who must be wondering what he has signed for.If another critic says it would be wrong to sack Pochetino after all he has done for us I will explode. He must go now while someone has time to save us from a relegation fight.Come on Levy show some bottle but I won’t hold my breath.Surely there must be an oil rich magnate somewhere who could buy us out

I've absolutely had enough. What a dire performance with, once again, not a single player showing why he earns his corn, Moura maybe excepted. N'dombele? Beginning to look a complete waste in the Soldado - Janssen category. Lloris ? Unfortunately hurt but what on earth was he doing anyway ? 'Arry looks like he was when he started out - average at best, Toby & Verts nothing like the magnificent duo we had at the heart of the rock-solid defence a while ago. Lamela & Eriksen? I'll pass there, I'm totally bored with those two. I've only ever wanted one Manager fired and that was the excreble Terry Neill and he should never have been at The Lane in the first place, quite a few others over the many years have disappointed but I said nothing; but with the train-wreck season we're seeing there's got to be action and pronto too, so I've reluctantly arrived in the Poch Out Now camp. I've said before (as have others) that Poch looks increasingly lost and distracted with seemingly little control and influence over his team and with a shiny new Stadium to pay for Levy surely isn't going to be amused at empty seats that will shortly start to appear here, there & everywhere and surely must be thinking of a new man. Allegri from Juve is looking for a post (apparently) - he would be ideal for me, but we'd need to be right sharp about it before Solskjaer gets the bullet that he too is currently earning.

    Truly an awful performance.
High line without effective pressing.... Give a PL player enough time and space on the ball and there will be passes behind the high-line and dangerous attacks. And if one player stops pressing/covering his man then the pressing is easily bypassed.
Does Pochettino watch the matches on DVD after the matches or is he only looking once and that is live from the sidelines? I can't figure out how he cannot see what needs to be improved. The pretend pointless running by Eriksen, the lack of movement for players to be possible for receiving a pass.
Özil and Eriksen are supposed to be similar players. Özil has been benched, maybe the times have changed and that particular player-type has lost its usefulness?
A friend who is travelling and can't watch the matches asked what is happening. Two things came to mind:
    1. Not playing as a team. Definitely not defending/pressing as a team.
    2. Opposition has been lethal in taking their chances.
The second item might hopefully be temporary, the first item is an area of serious concern.
Final thought might be that I seem to remember that Dier started out as a RB, maybe time for him to be used there again. If he is to play.

The worst part for me is watching them play without even a plan.
There's nothing , 11 passengers all going through the motions.
No one has a specific job or task , no one taking responsibility , no one trying to make something happen , no drive , no want , no desire , no movement it's horrendous to watch.

This isn't something that's just crept up on us it's been continuously papered over by some fluke results here n there but in the main the football has been atrocious for almost 2 years imo.
We are just now experiencing the fall out of failure to improve , stagnation and familiarity breeding contempt.

Poch equally to blame as ENIC for the last 3 or so windows , he signed his contract and was complicit even having the audacity to out right spin the fans during before and after transfer windows.

There's only 1 winner when you sell your soul and Pochettino has to discover that sooner rather than later because the jig is up and it is he who will take the fall.

Hopefully lloris never plays for us again and there's a long list of current players that should join him starting with Lamela even if 6 years too late......

To think I was worried that the spine of this side was walking on a free in the summer but this side is already an invertebrate.

Looking across the various Spurs sites, the number of bloggers, posters and pundits who just can't bring themselves to allocate any blame to Pochettino is truly astonishing - what is his job, if not to organise and motivate the team to - at the very least - put up a decent showing, and it's something he's signally failed to do in most games for most of the past year - how is keeping him in a job he's obviously lost interest in going to help Spurs? His total lack of honesty doesn't help; for months he's been hinting at moving-on, talking about Real Madrid and Argentina as his dream jobs, and suddenly he's staying for the next five years, such is his devotion to Tottenham - does he really believe we're all so stupid as to believe him? Sadly, it seems that some of us are!

Tim Sherwood is stupidity personified. He said that it's not a disaster yet and that sometimes things have to get worse to get better. To think that we have not bottomed out is scary!

Sick and tired of expecting more and sick and tired of hearing wrong formation, wrong manager, wrong tactics, wrong players etc.
is it just me who expects at the very least to see a belief and a total commitment to win and perform in EVERY game.
these players are the same players who performed for each other week in week out in the past. who's a Roy Keane, John Terry, amongst them and will confront slackers with a cuff round the head or a scream in there ear.
I wouldn't be leaving it to the manager to give a supposedly "hair drier treatment" in the dressing room.
I'd be gripping the offenders in the tunnel or training pitch and putting the fear of god in them.
What ever it takes for these players to play for the shirt and the thousands of supporters who give everything to watch there cherished team week in week out should be done. It'll take one player to show what is expected by leading on that pitch with total passion and a work ethic that will not only be appreciated by the many who watch and expect effort as a minimum every single game.
Don't forget, for many of us, that's all we expect as it's been a bonus of late to have some sort of mini success.
We enthuse when we defeat a Crystal Palace, we're ecstatic when we deprive City and Ajax of a cup final yet round every corner there's a Colchester, Newport County, Newcastle and we run away with the belief that we've lost our way.
I for one would be happy to get back to playing attractive football again and enjoy watching, rather than the expectation that we should be challenging for some holy grail that we don't deserve and slating a manager who not long ago walked on water.
Do you think he wants to watch that dross and face the press and soon banners Pooch out.
I must be the only person who thinks that our wage policy is sound because quite frankly it's obscene to see these salaries anyway.
If you want trophies, cups, medals win after win go and watch City, Liverpool, Chelsea but I suspect your all just like me....... Spurs is in your blood and always will be.
Now I'm sorry I haven't come up with a quick fix or know what the answers are, like most of you saying get rid of Pooch, Lamella's useless, it's all Hugo's fault, diamond is all wrong, he's lost the dressing room etc truth is I didn't know back in 1962 and I sure as hell don't know now. All I know is I live for the team to excite me but I know they'll always be capable of infuriating me but I wouldn't be a fan of any other team.
