Streamed the game. It was a horror show, really. They seemed to turn into zombies. Incredible... Lethargy has affected the young. And the old.

At last even spurporter has not got an excuse. Now we know we are bad.We should putEricson in the stiffs for the rest of the season and see which big clubs want him.At the moment he would not get in Colchester team ..

Yes - Pochettino seems to have bewitched the media from the very beginning at Southampton, and I seriously believe the business of speaking through an interpreter was a big factor - it was his USP, and the love affair has shown no sign of ending, however bizarre his ramblings pre and post match have become, or how inexplicable his team selections, tactics and use of subs continue to be. Whether he was always an egomaniac, or whether the media adoration (and that of a large proportion of the sheep-like fanbase) turned his head is anybody's guess, but for a football manager to publish an autobiography without a single trophy on his CV says all that need be said about his self-esteem - pity he can't walk the walk as well as he (or his ghost writer) talks the talk!

Just seen Pochettinos after match drivel does he really think spurs performance was good and we dominated game .If he really believes this then he really has lost the plot. Its time he said it as it is that the players are not doing it for him .Can you imagine Ferguson talking this drivel.I am amazed how many pundits on the chat shows think that spurs fans who think Pochettino should go are misguided. These are the same pundits who hounded Mourinho at united even though he w
on a cup and look what’s happened to them.I for one would welcome a serial winner to our club who would soon sort the dross out and even show us how to defend properly and not hide behind statements that are calculated drivel

Just about all the ex-players and managers who now earn their crusts as media pundits can barely disguise their contempt for the ordinary fans - if you weren't a player, you know nothing, so carry on funding the merry-go-round and keep your opinions to yourself. I think the years of rigid routine kill the ability to think or imagine for many of the ex-players, which may explain why they're usually so reluctant to rock the boat by accepting that a particular manager or player isn't good enough, and why they don't seem able to adapt to changing circumstances - why have so many of them said that Spurs are top four certainties this season, when all the evidence of the past nine months suggests that we'll be struggling to make the top half without radical surgery?
They're all far too keen to keep their places on the gravy train to say anything controversial (and most of them are too stupid to have noticed that Spurs 2019 are far inferior to the 2017 version anyway!).

Serial winner is highly unlikely to come to work for THFC

Defense is not the most pressing issue, the inability to break down other team defense due to poor form of the attacking players, is. Also, holding MF was scary. Wanyama was outright atrocious, making accurate passes to opponents. Dier was bland. Skipp showed promise again, but Spurs needed scorers. Yet, Parrott was very much useless being unable to shake off his shadow. Dele is still afraid to move and listens to his hamstrings all the time. And Moura was not better than the rest in crossing 18 yard line with the ball, as Colchester copied Newcastle and made a wall there. If Poch really wanted to win, he would have picked a stronger starters. But the schedule dictates the rest for those. Plus, I guess, he wanted perhaps to introduce the youth and use it as a chance to demonstrate the veterans that they could be the next Kabouls and Adebayors. But the young failed him.
