After an amazing European night last night with Liverpool pulling off one of the greatest come backs ever , it's now our turn.

    Can we succeed in 'Dam?

One of if not the biggest games in our history , top 4 all but sewn up one could go as far to say it's now or never for us with how things have shaped up.

Pool who were without key players last night turned in a performance of grit and determination, there was no skulking about, no excuses, no shell shocks, no passive starts etc.
This from a side without their key men and a 0-3 aggregate to overcome against Barcelona!

So tonight there is no excuse for us to display this recent let's feel sorry for ourselves routine , 0-1 is not a mountain to climb but it is something we are going to have to be determined from the off to overturn.

Ajax are quality, but soon faded as the match went on and we pressed them further up the pitch , so we know we can get at them and with the return of Son we also have a proper goal threat now as well.

Big performances needed from every player in that team tonight!
Alli, Eriksen etc need to stand up and be counted.
Sick of seeing the wandering about , dejected , aimless football stop hiding and make history!

Pool in the final awaits, a much better prospect than facing Barca it's up for grabs.

Pochettino get your players ready and pumped up from the off and your tactics right we can do this.

    COYS !

Absolutely we can do this... I'm not convinced over this ajax team one bit. A good young side with potential they may be but they are punching way above the level. They have been able to transfer their confidence from a very poor Dutch league were they have it on a plate most week into the CL. How long they continue to do so I'm not sure. Hopefully it ends. They beat juve and real madrid in particular who don't really play a high pressure game and as seen in the first leg as you state struggling to deal with us once the shape and tempo improved. At them from the first whistle and let's see how good they really are. Coys.

As it stands, getting this far counts for nothing unless we do credit to ourselves tonight, after a poor performance at The Lane.

Play on the break, use Lucas and Sonny's pace. If it's away goals we progress by, so be it.

Cometh the hour, Cometh the Man.

Tuned in - as we all ptobably are and a goal down after 4 mins. Yet ANOTHER set-piece ! J*sus - can we still not defend a high ball !! We must be top of the "conceded from set-piece" table anyway - that'll be the only table we lead.

just decided that I'm not going to watch any more of this insult to my senses already 2 down and both mainly due to Trippier what a disaster this man is to us .Spurs have created at least 2 good chances and totally wasted them .Son and Moura having mares when you need them at there best.I don't believe pochetino can motivate this shambles any more

Half-time rants are obviously hostages to fortune (though I'd be very happy to look even stupider if there's a miraculous second half turn around), but you cannot just turn on a good performance after months of rubbish, and it looks as if we'll all be able to enjoy the CL Final without too much strain on the collective ticker. I just hope we don't complete the season with the spursiest of all finales - getting thrashed by Everton while Arsenal do the business on Burnley - this is Spurs, so it's not totally impossible!

Posted my little bit without reading the previous posts. Sorry lads - MUST disagree. We have NO chance tonight and I'm sorry I didn't say so earlier, not looking wise after the event. We're a team in freefall, only looking top-four 'cos no-one else wants to be there apparently. Out of any reasonable form, some players no more than passengers seemingly disinterested and others just not good enough. Even Sonny, the little marvel can't seem to shake himself. Oh well, there's always next year (again).

Just forget every thing in my last post as this has just convinced me that I know nothing about football after all the years .What must Ajax supporters be feeling after all the chances they squandered.Do I care not a jot

The older I get, the less I know about everything, with football at the top of the list - it won't shut me up, though!
