Agree about keeping Toby, however, i think DL is planing to sell Ce to raise funds, just have to hope they are invested in the team.

All the results gone our way. Few lads I know went to an evening with ledley King on Friday and he says Poch is a big fan of Zaha and believes he can develop and improve. Today the rumours are that Zaha told Palace he wishes to leave..

The results couldn't have gone much better really for us , for once the Gods seem to have been shining on us.
Have to secure 3rd to be sure of CL next year so no more slips or leaving it to chance please Spurs.

That was hard work but the result is what matters

Nobody seemed to be moving up front- all 3 seemed static. I’m in the minority in liking Jansen, but he did at least seem to be moving around when he was on

Anyway we kept the 100% and 0 goals at home this season

Painful to watch , but got the result in the end.
It always amazes me how much we can dominate the ball and do next to fa with it.
So slow, so ponderous, so predictable.

Still with the top 4 places looking tight wel take the win no matter what.
And it was a cracking effort from CE.

Having watched BHA lose 1-0 to Man.city in the FA cup and remembering how well they can defend, the win was a good result and maybe credit should be given to BHA for making it as tough as possible for Spurs to score.
I liked the team selection and shape, however, MP hasn't work out a way to get the best out of Lllorente, again a lack of crosses into the box meant Llorente was coming short which isn't his strength.
Trippier can't beat his man so couldn't get any crosses in as BHA got close to him not allowing the first time cross. Rose is so erratic sometimes good sometimes bad. Wanyama did ok, however, i still think one of him or Dier can be moved on in the summer.
Hopefully the gooners drop some points tonight, i want man.u to beat city as i don't want the chavs or the arse in Cl with spurs next season. Coys

Think poch is having to get every last drop out this squad at minute like the walking wounded. Not really enough players to rotate and one or two look shattered. Will have to try and rotate again Saturday possibly the full bks and dier back in for wanyama apart from that not much else he can do really??? Even the V Man had a run out..
Last night seems to highlight we do need a player who can unlock deep lying defences that park the bus in games like that.

A very predictable tough watch against a park the bus team who are struggling for their survival . We all known how these games go by now . We're down to the bare bones in terms of our squad at this stage and all that matters now is getting the job done . They're a bunch of legends in what they've achieved this year against all the odds i.m.o . It's been a struggle really from day one for a multitude of reasons , we all know them at this stage but here we are , by hook or by crook and a wee bit of luck every now and again .... C.O.Y.S......

Horrendous performance just when I thought we had seen back of Spursey.Team selection all wrong and substitutions puzzling to say the least. Why dier and not Wanyama and the delivery from the flanks was appalling I would like to see verts at left back for his delivery alone. Please start on Tuesday with Jansen not Lorente who looked so much more mobile and was unlucky not to equalise..Without son on Tuesday will pocketino have the bottle to get a 0 o draw and go for the away victory as I can't see us scoring without son.Are we going to miss the top four or are the fixtures for the rest just in our favour.A win today would probably have confirmed top four.Being a spurs fan is not easy

Jansen can’t play in the champions league. He wasn’t registered

Making top four is still (just!) in our own hands, courtesy of our superior goal difference, but my fear that we are in real danger of losing next year's CL place because of preoccupation with this year's competition is looking all-too possible, with two defeats and a last-gasp win over Brighton all we've got to show in the PL since we scraped past City in the CL. God knows how we'll do against Ajax next week, with NO ONE in good form; Alli and Dier are shadows of what they were three years ago, and the fact that we're looking to Wanyama and Sissoko for salvation shows how far the team has regressed over the past couple of years. Winning the CL would be beyond our wildest dreams, but failing to qualify for next year would be a complete nightmare, and Pochettino simply mustn't allow it to happen, certainly if he's even half the manager his admirers claim.

What a sad performance from the the majority of the team today ! Only Rose, Davies, Toby, Foyth and Hugo were ok... just 5 players !!! With the poor side of our Spurs I can add the mediocrity of Pochettino substitution ! How can you change llorente for Lucas and leave Dele on the pitch until the last seconds ? Dele was totally awful today. Slow and without any energy. Even Son would have bien changed before Lucas ! Llorente was awful too and I would have prefere To see him (or Janssen) before on the field. Then why don't give an entire game To Rose which has been superb today and give us some pace in the left side ? This defeat is yours Mauricio !

Is Dele Ali in danger of becoming as frustrating as Lamela .. For me he's almost there , he drives me around the bend , I don't get the hype at all ...

Was a woeful performance , of course wet sham turn up for the fight we saunter around just hoping something might happen.
Besides the euphoria of scraping past City (with a huge slice of luck whilst trying to throw the game as best we can) our league form has been dismal 3 wins in the last 10 Huddersfield Palace Brighton, 6 losses and 1 draw (which was a last minute pen save from a loss.)
That's simply not good enough, it's not some great effort from the Team, Manager, Club that we are some how still in 3rd it's just a huge slice of luck that Chavs/Scum/Utd have been so piss poor yet still we leave the door open to be hopped by them.
I think wel scrape top 4 by the skin of our teeth not through skill or style just because how poor the competition for it has been.
Some how we've gotten away this far with running on fumes , it's not an achievement it's been negligent.

What has happened to Deli Ali ?? No drive or goal threat just meaningless little flicks that give the ball away.He is not a midfield player and I would play him Tuesday off the striker if at all as he may score a goal. When did spurs look like scoring in a first half and without Kane we can't afford Son to have an off day like today.Ten points from the last thirty is relegation form .Just one win more from this period and we awould be top four already but all the rose coloured fans said it was just a blip.lets hope they were right as the other contenders are luckily rubbish

Not a dig- but what made you think this ?

In the space of 5 games we went from possibly going 2 points of Liverpool to being 1 point off Scum.
We blew a 1st game Semi final lead in the League cup.
We got dumped out the FA Cup by Palace.
We only just made it through the CL group stages and then tried to blow a 1-3 aggregate by 5-3 only to be saved by 2 fortunate decisions.

We have not seen the back of Spursy at all, the recent flirting with blowing a comfortable CL position is evidence of it.

Not looking forward to our last 2 games at all just praying that Bournemouth and Everton are on the beach already mentally.

God knows what team wel put out or how we're gonna play Tuesday coz if the patched up life raft is deployed again then we're really gonna be up the proverbial without a paddle.

Probably all a bit gutted after today went flat 2nd n half but if we go one or two up first half which we should it's a different story. Can all say we would have done this or that and we should prioritise top four over the CL but let's take stock..
Poch don't want to pick one or the other and is fighting on two fronts, down to the bare bones with our talisman injured and possibly player of season out in sissoko. If he gets us to a final under all the restraints we've had upon us this season and it just so happens to cost us top four then I won't be too much disappointed. I'd applaud him to be honest. Imagine being a West ham fan when all you have to look forward too is spoiling the spurs party once every 5 seasons or so and gauging that as success. COYS.
