The CL is starting to look open with Ajax, porto, spurs and Man.u through to the last 8, none would be considered a CL power house at the moment, however, surely one of them should make the last 4.

There are a few big teams left of which Barca on form seem to be the best. Juve, Barca, A madrid pool and B.munich are the historical class acts at Cl level so if spurs can avoid these teams in the draw then a semi is possible.

The hand ball against Psg was very harsh, however, it did hit the players hand and makes me think that there has been a law change as it wasn't intentional.

Horrendous decision for the handball i.m.o , would have been a shocker even if there was no V.A.R ..

Not many would have predicted them 4 to be the first through to the quarter finals , that's for sure but it has had a very open look about it all the way through this season . At least two more of them other sides gone aswell .

It's such a pity we can't seem to find out mojo . Playing well , nice draw , you could very well end up in a final this year .

I have always thought if it hits your hand it's handball, however, once you add intent then it's down to an opinion. The player got punished for poor defending, should never turn your back on a shot even though it's a natural reflex to turn.

Psg and liverpool top the spursy league at the moment.

Recent poor PL results means spurs must beat saints to keep the chasing pack at bay. Coys

Regarding the handball palmover, I saw a statement from the top EUFA official and he was saying that it's a penalty even if it's not deliberate, if you hands are in an unnatural position.... Where the f**k are you supposed to put them. I still think it's a s**t decision... But no PSG in the draw. Manure in the CL at The New Lane.....what an occasion.....COYS

Midweek I heaped. Praise so this weekend I can say this was so careless and keeps happening.Games we should have won in first half we let go and what a brain fart from rose then the spursy ..starts again .Top four looking decidedly shaky and will be a disaster if it happens.Poch will surely be under pressure if this happens .To think we were 13 points clear when mourning was in charge of man u

But Pochettino is the greatest Manager to have ever graced the earth ......

He's also ahead in his 5 - 15 year project

Well my 79 points just took a 3 point hit. Dreadful second half. Rose has been ragged for me, can't cross a ball for toffee, can't defend, not great.

Free kicks in key position - Eriksen misses, WardProwse scores. Not good enough.

Sanchez misses the ball for the first - another howler from him, let Ramsey in last week. You just can't make those sorts of rickets at this level, period.

Will need a result at City or the Scousers or both, for sure. Even if we win all 4 at home, 73 points, we will need more. Got to win 5 from 8.......mmm.

Just seen match of the day and how many errors did Sanchez make .He must be rested and Walker peters proved me wrong and pochetino correct as to why he has not been playing.I am not the biggest fan of aurier but he was good against Dortmund was he injured today? I find it very strange that the top teams don't change their back four injuries apart whereas poch changes every game.Is it any wonder that the defence look like strangers. This didn't happen 2 seasons ago when we had settled back four and the best defence in the premiership.Looking at the fixtures to come our only benefit could be that united Arsenal and Chelsea have to play against each other at least once.I believe we need5 wins.Good luck

Well, after Saints we have a very rough run in....
I think there are clearly some things that need to happen, no matter how the remaining games go.
We desperately need both left and right backs that can defend and have pace. Our current full backs do not have the consistency to support a title shot and are not good enough for a top 4 side.
We really need another CB as well as make sure we lock up Toby. Sanchez is just too risky and as many great headers, clearances or blocks he makes, he makes a few mistakes in each game that leads to chances for other teams which haven’t been punished as many times as they should have been.
We need someone else to take corners and free kicks. I cannot believe the amount of corner attempts it takes to clear the front post.
Foyth needs to be moved into a defensive midfielder role as he is similar to Sanchez as far as mistakes go however I think would excel in a position where the odd mistake could be covered.
I think it would be a good time to sell Lamela, Moura and Llorente now too.
Let’s hope the lift of the new stadium helps us fumble to 3rd or 4th place and we drive forward next season

The great Argentinian dope , in 5 years has scored altogether 20 goals across all competitions to put that into context someone like Sterling has scored 15 in the prem alone this season.

What we are seeing is nothing new really.. Poch struggles when he has a near on full strength squad to pick from. The easiest form of management is to rotate players to appease them and avoid confrontation. Then he unnecessarily changes formation to shoe horn in an extra centre half in who just so happens to be a club record signing or alternatively leave our best centre half out who incidentally is in contract dispute and is unlikely to be there come the summer thus confrontation not much of an issue. Same coincidentally happened with walker. See where I'm going here. Yesterday we see Son dropped for a couple of poor games but eriksen starts as they don't want to upset him into not signing up a new deal. Poch has rarely if ever dropped a big name unless there has been a fall out.
This is why we don't sign players to upset the regular starting 11. We prefer to sign young players, nobody's from France, signed a 17m nobody from janssen who they thought was happy to warm a bench. They sign llorente who turned down league champs to sign for us. Why? Money.. He came to us for money rather than playing time which tells you all you need to know about his mentality. Are we to believe there is not one striker in the whole world of football who would back himself to get decent playing time at spurs.. Come on.. Before people jump on what I say have a read of it properly and think about it.. I'm not a poch basher he's the best manager we have had in my lifetime at spurs with redknapp the other end of the scale who picked his best 11 week in and out thus alienated many. When injury hit and had to call on these players they understandably gave him little. These are the fine margins that set managers apart.

Don't Spurs supporters think we nee some experience and somebody who has a presence in the changing room who will question poch occasionally. With Real Madrid likely to restock in the summer maybe they would let Modric go and what a help he would be for Winks.A couple off Italian defenders might help who clear their lines first before trying to be a winger.Pochs latest comments are obviously aimed at levy and and I can see a clash coming very soon when levy has to choose profit or a successful team

We've needed a leader in this side for ages , Poch won't have commanding figures in his side hence Lloris the mime artist having the arm band , a player like Kane leads by example but doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the box, Jan & Toby are the only other obvious candidates but both have an air of laid backness to them.
Whenever the chips are down and this team needs a kick up the backside on the pitch there's no one I see organising/marshalling it's just constantly get the ball to Kane/Son hope they score....
