Haven't posted for a while - not much to say that hasn't been said already but this is my second today and after what I saw of the first half I'm stunned into relative silence. A poor selection preceded (from what I saw anyway) an appalling display, devoid of quality, passion, ideas, creativity and a general desire to look even partly interested. I would hope that the second 45 improved but I remain to be informed and convinced. Maybe I'll get stick from others for turning my back - not a True Fan etc - but give it if you like, I couldn't give a flying one. Much like the eleven I saw for while earlier. I'm absolutely gutted and hope Poch is too - a side depleted enough already doesn't need to leave out any quality that remains.

The second half was an improvement on the 1st which isn't difficult but alas the likes of Moura & Lamela if they're not good enough to cause Palace problems then they're not good enough as back up, same for the Cart Horse.
Supported by some very average players and it makes for dire viewing.
But we didn't need to sign anyone, can't find anyone that will improve us and the main man is happy wit his sqa

Well, Poch got it 100% wrong. Playing 3 back with midfield as weak as it was is a recipe for disaster. He fixed his game preparation mistake in second half, yet the repetition of Chelsea first period disaster is a clear sign of Pochtino's tactical weakness. Obviously he was saving Eriksen and Tobi for Watford, so we had no playmaker on the pitch nor we had a defense director. He could also use the tie to demonstrate to Levy what will await his club should he decides to sell Eriksen and /or Aldewereid

Now, if Spurs lose points against Watford, I'd be pissed, but one has to understand that if Spurs would not lose those cup and some PL ties now and in February, then Son, Kane and Dele should be of little value to them. So it is important to get all of them to sign new contracts with increased wages. Add Eriksen and Tobi who are clearly as important, if not more. Without those 5 performers Spurs could have simply forfeited FA Cup tie against any PL team. That just happened.
