I really hope all these managerial rumours are not a front for us holding on until the end of the euros for Southgate. Southgate is so bad, words actually fail me…He makes odd starting selections and has no impact in any games at all…add to that his complete lack of presence on the touch line. All of this makes me think, he is who will will end up with…

Southgate would be the worst choice. He was hopeless as a league manager.
England.....well England is England...... slow, boring. no risk taking...... and are still sh1te.
Southgate makes it worse asking all the midfielders to do the same thing.
and Sterling should never start. hopeless. anyway..... England is another story....

DL is certainly making a pigs @rse of getting a manager in.

Benitez is still available. Yes his style is defensive but he might actually be able to attract decent players.
I'd be keen on Potter.....but we will probably have to make do with lesser known players. (a risk..... but DL, will love a lower cost and salary purchase). But he gas proved that lesser players don't mean lesser attractive football.

Or you go mad and get Parker & Redknapp in
...... I know........ I've opened the Guinness early today......

How much longer is this farce going on.Rumour on top of rumour .The latest being that Paratici is choosing names that the board don’t want.It seems that this obsession with a man who took us to 14th before being sacked is clouding every thing.Move on for the sake of the club.Latest rumour Sanchez Ex wolves or val verde soon we will be asking Jose to come back.It appears that Paratici is finding out early that Levy is an interfering Ignoramus

See Rodon showed again against Italy that he has immense promise and should have been given more time than he got from The greatest coach in the world and Mason.Better than Dier and Sanchez with one leg

Here we go again spurs have supposedly been turned down by Lopetegui of Sevilla. Is this press talk or is Levy really talking to all these Managers.I for one am amazed that he sacked Mourino with no plan in place which makes me think that it was related to the ill fated attempt to join the super league.I think the supporters trust should insist that we get a honest answer or why do they exist if we can’t trust them to get the truth. We are fast becoming the favourites for relegation if he does not get real and get a manager in poste haste who can unload the wage stealers and sign some new blood not tainted by the clique (Winks Sissoko Dier Ali

See the arses are close to signing White from Brighton. This is a player who would have been good for us and can play in a few positions just as well. With no manager players like this will be signed by other clubs. If we had signed up Potter we may have been in for him.Levy has really f***** us up this time and at any other club would be gone but as a major shareholder in Enic there is no chance especially as his benefactor Edwards is not football orientated at all

I really don’t think you should believe what is being said in the press. levy has already come out and said that in most of the cases reported we havent spoke to/offered any of the names mentioned. lopetegui sounds like yet more rubbish. I believe there is clearly a reason they are waiting until the euros is over…why or who and if it’s an international manager or not….no idea but I dont buy for one second that we have offered and been turned down by nearly every employed manager in the world.

Strongest rumour is Nuno who sets his teams up like Mourino oh what joy to look forward to.I spent last season keeping sane by the fact that Arsenal were a bigger joke than us.Levy has now reversed that big time.Get ready for a surfeit of Portuguese players and as Dier speaks the lingo he will remain

If any body wanted proof that we should not waste good money on Bale today was proof .He hardly showed and I am afraid he no longer has it at the top level. Another Levy pipe dream.

Can’t believe that I seem to be the only one posting at this ridiculous time.Every day a different rumour about the new manager with mrGold adding fuel to the fire by suggesting Levy does not really want Santo although Paratici does. With preseason very close we don’t have a manager and we are still stuck with the wage stealers.Paratici seems to have contacts to help us sign new players but without a manager will it be levy deciding who we buy. This is fastly becoming my nightmare that Levy will dilly dally until he tells us he has no choice but to give the job to Mason.I for one will not bother to watch any game if this happens instead I will return to watching my local non league team because they are more genuine and better run.Rumour abounds that It would cost 20 million to buy out Potter and levy won’t pay this although Potter has been rumoured saying that he would not take the job and who can blame him.I guest on a couple of other sites and they are buzzing every day with opinions while this site seems to have become becalmed.Don’t get me wrong this is still the better web site and is controlled where some of the others are not controlled at all but they are busy

It’s all just media rumours at the moment and
99% of it is made up…until the club make an announcement, there isn’t any point commenting because there are lots of names being debated but none seem to have had an offer and it seems to divide fans for no real reason at this point

a nice team of 11 potential managers posted on another site....

    Nuno
    Ten Hag, Fonseca, Pochettino
    Martinez, Gattuso, Parker, Potter
    Conte
    Valverde, Klinsmann

...... and the search is still going.....

It looks as though Nuno is heading to Turkey to take the Fenerbache job and according to the very reliable media, Potter turned us down (like everyone else).

We have either been really patient/agreed a deal with a manager of an international team at the Euros already or Mason will be taking charge next season. I really hope it’s former…

If Mason gets any where near the job it will be a disaster. If the press are right and fan pressure stopped us with Gatuso then the fans should also make it clear that Mason is a NO NO.Alright he won 3 games at the end of the season which we would probably have done without a manager. This is the man who recalled his mates Winks Dier etc And left out Rodon and Ndombele.Probably a nice chap but not a manager of a top 4 premier club although I doubt we will see that for a while

  18. For the record...

Nuno Santo would be an absolute dreadful hire... a nonsensical B grade replacement for the previous flop who will bring the exact same craven overly defensive cynical counter attacking dross... just for a few million less

I for one have very little interest in watching another season of archaic long ball shite... where our greatest aim is to not concede (God forbid there will be another enquiry) while we happily watch lesser opponents knock it around all day

If it’s a choice between Nuno or the youth coach it’s no contest... Mason may not know what a good footballer looks like but at least he has an approximate sense of how Spurs should play

It looks like nuno will be named this week.I personally would not have picked him but will will give him a fair crack.I suspect that most supporters will be glad we have a manager but I suspect a vast majority don’t want to return to a defensive based game.It will probably depend on whether Paratici can persuade levy to shell out for a few decent players and to get rid of the deadwood that has hung around for the last 3 years.I for one will not be happy if Dier Sissoko Winks are still on the playing staff come the start of the season but I won’t hold my breath.
