I was being sarcastic about being surprised

And yeah … if you’re going to buy nothing but teenagers then you better give a coach time

Thanks for proving my point Ange’s Pants. That the pro-Ange crowd is so far down “Ange’s Pants” (or is it up Ange’s ass?) that they can’t accept a single critique of him. By the way I love Ange and am so glad to have us playing beautiful football again. I hated the Conte and Mourinho era. And btw I include Conte because that rigid pattern play and counter attacking football was hard to watch. But just because I like Ange and want him to succeed doesn’t mean I’ll turn a blind eye to the fact that we’ve been absolutely terrible at points this year. Losing to Ipswich and Crystal Palace, losing to Brighton, getting shellacked by Liverpool and Chelsea. And so many of those matches were avoidable losses. But if you think he’s already a top manager that doesn’t need to learn anything, I’m sorry but you need to stop smoking the Ange dope. I’m not suggesting that he needs to learn from me. But I resent the argument that only those qualified to critique our favorite athletes or sports figures can. You could apply that argument to a number of different fields, I may not be an expert on parliamentary politics but my voice still matters when it comes to elections etc. I believe the same to be true of a football club. And I think you’ll find that most agree.

And also, I don’t take too kindly to the personal insults. I haven’t participated much on this forum, tho I have paid attention for many years. But I’d like to think I’m a measured voice here. And I’m not one for insulting my fellow spurs fans, after all we have more in common than we don’t (at least when it comes to football) but if you’re going to insult me I’ll bite back. That’s the way I am, mate.

    So everyone bar me then?

You must be awfully confused given your disdain for Scotland how your boy Dorrington has ended up there.

As I said, he’s not good enough to make our team presently, and our team is not that good.

Nice post. Seems like you sit on the sidelines but when called to play make a good impact!

Have you seen Dorrington play as you seem to be an expert on how good he is.i have no problem with him playing in Scotland because he will walk into most of their teams and get experiencea
