How can you say something like this before a game and during a season where we only score goals against teams that open the game and attack? We simply don't have the players we need for the system that Ange advocates. Our wingers are weak and the midfield barely better!

I do t think he is getting sacked. If you ignore that they are forest. We have actually just lost by 1-0 to the 4th places side- that in itself is not a tragedy, especially considering the injuries we have
We do have to remember that we have the defence of the team , 3 key players out. And attack wise we have odobert Mickey and Richie out long term. It’s not an excuse but has to be considered

All teams have injuries but manage to cope and don’t play midfielders at centre back we must have a centre back by trade in the under 21s.Gray has done as much as he can but we need him in midfield.What a sorry state when we are begging for Verner to replace Son.He won’t risk a young centre half but will put a young midfielder there mind less

 

Totally agree but... A good manager is someone who can adapt his tactic with the players hes has. I really love the Ange's offensive mind but when you loose a lot of matches, probably due to injuries, why are you keeping always the same tactict ? To keep every matches the same wingers of a very mediocre level like Johnson and Son today with an equally bad Kulusevski supporting the attack is proof that he does not know how to adapt to the situation! Why not play with a real defensive midfielder like Bissouma in front of the defense and surround him with bentancur, madison and porro in the right lane with two advanced central forwards like solanke and Johnson or Son or werner who never manage to overwhelm anyone evening on their wings? Why ???

I think it's clear that Ange won't change. Perhaps he doesn't know a system that will fit the players he has so it's just easier to tell everyone it's the way he plays.
Or..... he just doesn't have the knowledge to play other systems

 

Sick to death whining about injuries .who would make the team if fit Romero Van de ven and Vicario that’s it.Maybe Odebert .City have more. Agree with you about our wingers though … Johnson is one of the worst buys I’ve seen in a long time … fancy Forest selling him to us for 50 mill and a year later they still have two better wingers than him?

Our squad is weak (and it is absolutely run into the ground) … yet it still continues to lose when it doesn’t deserve to.

Goal difference has always been the best measure for where a team should stand … but very rarely you will see a wild aberration … like when Everton qualified for the Champions League years ago with a negative goal difference lol

I don’t think we have a great team at full strength … 5th best talent wise at very best … we don’t deserve to win every game … we don’t deserve to lose all these games either

But remove both star centre backs and the starting goalkeeper … add in a star striker who might as well be out for the year … then play every 3 days … and this junk can happen … we are still getting short changed
