Great result great performance. We are all palace fans now!
If palace win , then it is in our hands again as a NLD win would put us above them if all other results are matched
Let’s just hope CE has a clause that he can’t play against us in the Brentford game

Don’t forget we added Romero Kulu and Betancour to our championship squad and all three have come up trumps let’s hope we can add 3 more in the summer.Conte has improved Dier and Davies but we still have weaknesses at full back which are being covered up by our good form at the moment

No one has said at any stage this season that we don’t need to improve certain positions. That being said, the players we do have are now actually playing to their potential and capability, which is, top 6 minimum top 4 at best and that coincides with the coaching, tactics and squad decisions made by Conte and Paratici in January.

Are you talking about the two benchwarmers? the cast-offs?

I don't blame you for forgetting because he never got a game under the previous dud... but Bale actually played for Spurs last year... as did Alderweireld... and a number of others

The only thing Championship level around here the last three years... apart from the punditry... has been the woeful management

    Exactly

Great result yesterday... had to absorb a lot of pressure in the first half after the early goal... Hugo magnificent

Great point…Hugo is coming towards the end of his career but he was World Class (like previous years) yesterday

The signings have made the difference, Conte isn't being expected to build the team around losers like Alli Ndombele LoCelso etc.

    How so?

As I've always said a manager is only as good as the team at their disposal, the 2 boys that arrived in January have made a massive difference.

Prior to their arrival and settling we were dross and an injury to any of our best 4 players and we'll be struggling again because the quality of the squad still isn't good enough and no coaching them will change that.

New signings and getting rid of losers n disruptive players has improved the situation not coaching.

    This tune?

Lloris, Davies, Dier, Sess, PEH, Doherty…all better than they were for the previous 12 months. As a collective, we are a much more solid team with much less chance of being beat. That’s entirely down to the coaching. Add Kane is looking like a much better player and even Bergwijn looks decent coming off the bench.

If Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Utd or Arsenal lose any of their best 4 players to injury (especially when you consider at Liverpool and City a couple of their best players are at the back), they will struggle at this stage of the season.

Again, no one has disagreed all season that we need to strengthen (especially CB and WB) but we are playing better and are far more difficult to beat. IMO Conte has improved our whole squad, our tactics and the coaching have made us a more difficult prospect (not forgetting that Conte had some very tough fixtures early in his time with us that others have coming up in the final stretch).

On the coaching not impacting new signings and outgoing players, I don’t agree..would JM or Nuno have pushed for Bentancur or Kulu? No…would they have insisted that disruptive players leave or be left out? Well they didn’t seem to? Conte did and look at the result…more balance/harmony and far better performances (which haven’t always attracted the results they deserved in the earlier stages).

  20. Always admire your sincerity THFC but you’re preaching to the brain dead here… do you remember how we were told that Everton had a superior squad to Spurs this term?

This argument was settled long ago… doesn’t matter what happens these last couple of months… no mistake though we will play well regardless of what results may come
