As usual Thfc you miss the point.I can praise us when we perform but accept we are rubbish most of the time.Even Norwich sometimes play well but you would not want to support them.Conte wants out and nothing you say change that

 

We've not improved or better though, just saying it doesn't mean it's true.
Nuno was sacked in 8th 5 points off top 4, 14 games later we are 8th 7 points off top 4.
We registered 2 shots on target vs Burnley, have lost 4 out the last 5.

Yet I'm negative & pessimistic....
I live in the real world based on fact not delusional feelings.

And yet I'm still not here blaming Conte like you lot did Nuno & Mourinho because I've been consistent throughout, the squad is so bad and unfit for purpose it's impossible to get a consistent tune out of it.
Unprofessional players, weak mentalities, poor quality, kids on the bench it's horrific.

But please let's stop the pretence it's better when it's clearly not just to ease your conscience at how OTT n credulous your hatred was towards previous managers.

 

But no one has hated previous managers…our football has improved, we are better to watch and the squad (despite the results) seem to be happier.

We are watching different things if you really believe that we are playing the same or worse than we did with 2 x previous managers (and to some extent the last few months of poch).

I am not debating the results or points tally, I am saying we are putting in better performances which deserve better results.

Levy must back Conte in the summer or he will be well and truely done. The January window showed that he will support their choices with Alli etc going.

Listening to Conte in the interview, he sounded like someone who was really frustrated and that wanted to make a point. A point to Levy and a point his players (that let themselves down so soon after the high of the City game).

I’ll be shocked if he leaves before the end of the season and even more shocked if he doesn’t get the clear out he wants in the summer.

 

He's NEVER backed a manager before in 21 years, if people believe this sh;t they're either extremely naive or dangerously stupid.

We weren't convincing against West Ham, Norwich Brentford or Leicester.

Our best performances were v Pool n City, 1 we drew with their B team n the other we smash n grabbed for the 2nd time this season.

Now we can add Burnley to the list.

Just saying things are improved/better doesn't make it true.

 

I can understand Contes frustration with the performances and I think he is correct in what he says about us playing relegation football but he must take some flak himself for team selection and tactics.Unfortunately I think he has discovered that this current crop of wage stealers are not up to the required standard.They have now brought 4 managers to their knees while still earning more in a week than most of us in a year.We are now an entertainment company who have a side show called football

 

Preed we're back to going through team selection - this side beat City game prior and you also have to look at the bench/options?
You're swapping Aldi for Lidl n expecting a better product.
We literally have players on the bench that are to young to loan out.
The squad is unfit for purpose.

And the problem is we win 1 game v City and our fanbase think that's the level but the reality is the 4 losses in 5 not the 1 win.

You really must question the recruitment by spurs over the last year or so,Which other team has spent sums of money on players who were not up to the premiership Ndombele54 million Sessengon27 million Decelso 28 million Doherty 15 million Emmerson25 million Bergwin 27million.We we’re offered Tomiyasu for 16 million but preferred Emerson how wrong can you be.Most clubs buy the odd player who does not fit the bill but we seem to make an art form of it.Does not fill you full of confidence for the summer.

You are not wrong with the players you have listed but more recently, things have got better…Romero, Bentancur and Kulu seem to be much better quality. With shipping out of names you have mentioned and some recruitment in the summer (at the same level/quality as those I have mentioned), we will be in a much better position with our squad.

The Emerson signing is a truely baffling one…no one has ever heard of him, it doesn’t look like anyone had actually watched him and he clearly looks like a clone of Aurier. Perhaps we wanted to make a charitable donation to Barcelona who are struggling with their debt due to years and years of overspending

 

Bentancur out now for a few weeks, Skipp aswell.

So it's a Winks & Hojbjerg necessity now for the next couple games at least.
