It was 2 points dropped.

A mark of improvement will be the final points total. True the usual top 4 have had bad seasons, but if we get close to 80 points I think that is real progress. Highest ever tally is 72 so to better that we still have a lot of work to do.

I agree with you relevant " embarassing are the Spurs fans on social media saying Foxes are lucky..": Onestly Foxes are making a great season and the numbers say at the moment they are simply the best team; we must keep in fighting!!! if someone last august said to me "spurs will challenge for the title " i reply to him: "you are daft as a brush!!!!" I think that at anfield road we played a good match: i am a lot frustated for the result but the lads gave all!!! I am very proud of our lads!We must beat Red Devils ...the only thing it counts. AS EVER COYS

    It's worth noting.......

When we lost to Leicester at The Lane, game 21, we had 36 points, they had 43 points, so 7 adrift.

Since then we have both played 11 and each have won 8, drawn 2, lost 1. They have scored 17 conceding 6, adding 11 to their GD. We have scored 23, conceding 8, adding 15 to our GD. Not much in it.

Okay so making up no ground is not great, but it's not terminal. I feel that it is still all to play for. They haven't lost in 4, but they've not played well. Their luck will turn. Just Believe.

I have no doubt they'll drop points , the prob is so will we ... We still seem to have a problem beating the traditional big teams , even this season when they're **** the only one we've beat so far is a washed up Man City .. We didn't beat Man U , Arse , Lpool , or Chelsea so it's hard to be confident we,ll outpoint Leicester by 7 with 2 of our 6 games left against these sides ... We live in hope as always and if we manage to win our last 6 ( tall order ) but if we do then I think there's still a fair chance we,ll catch them .... C.O.Y.S .....

They score by committee, yet Vardy/Mahres duo appears to be getting colder from hot streak they had. It seems Foxes are scrapping along. Believe we do!

The foxes will drop points; it is a statistical reality... As will we!

Now the optimism for us all - under David Brent, Liverpool with Suarez, Sterling, Sturridge and Stevie G were 5 points clear at the summit and had only 3 PL fixtures to get over the line. Yep, we all know how that panned out :)

    C'mon, believe.

One thing we are all forgetting or ignoring is , this league is not a 2 horse race just yet , Leicester dropping points would not be opening the door just for us .. The ultimate kick in the bollix for all Spurs fans would be .... I'm not going to say it but it would be a sick ending to a memorable season ...... C.O.Y.S. ....

Let's not even go there, please!!! We aren't ignoring it but simply turning a blind eye. I wouldn't recover from that - EVER.

Need to keep positive Jonesy, POSITIVE...

That unspoken matter would be SOOOO painful Jonesy.......but for sure if we let them past us now, it says we've not yet finally killed off the curse from down the road. If you just look at who we've drawn against at The Lane......ouch, painful.
To be the best you've got to beat the best. So let's ignore all that, play the way we've been playing and secure wins at home from the last three, plus at least two on the road.....see easy!! COYS

Sorry Lee2 I'd missed your post. Way back earlier in the season, when we were starting to think CL was a possibility I felt 75 or 76 was going to be good enough to qualify. For sure that achievement would be a fantastic return for the lads and the fans.
How many seasons can you remember back to each and every game when we were the better side and should have won. One match blended into the other for decades, we never beat the best and more often looked second best.
Until now. We can remember all the draws and the three defeats - it's been THAT good. We have hardly had a bad performance - Barcodes at The Lane, Wet Spam away. For me, we have looked the best team in the PL. Okay I'm one-eyed but you know what, we have been.
Just get us over the line lads.............COYS

We might not get the title but it will be close,as long as we finish above the scum and push them into the Europa League even better it will be a good season and I will be happy, now it is time to get the contracts signed with Poch before the vultures arrive,we also have the problem of Dier who is now on 9 yellows one more and we lose him for two games, after Sunday no problem back to Zero,he held back from tackles last time out will he do the same against Man U??we need him to be on the top of his game so what to do?????COYS

There have been so many twists this season, don't give up!
Leicester have avery tough game away at sunderland who will be fighting for their lives.
We play manure whose away form is absolutely appalling and we should get the three points with vertonghen back in the side.
If results go our way we could be just 4 points behind and the title race would be wide open. They still have to play west ham as well as chelsea and manure away. We can't give up, remember the season when man city where 8 points behind united at this stage?
    Keep the faith
