I try to catch as much premier league football as possible and I can quite honestly say we are the worst team to watch in the entire division.
There's literally no substance to our play , there's no style , we are constantly 2nd best to the ball , slow to react , zero game plan or cohesion it's absolutely shocking to watch.
VAR (I agree is a shambles) but for me has actually been a breath of fresh air in most our games just because it takes the attention away from the diabolical football on display imo.

How bad does it have to get?
    Poch is done!
    The squad is done!

Time for a fresh start , fresh ideas and ENIC to put OUR money heavily into the playing side to end this 20year Charade

I catch all the live Spurs games but as far as MOTD goes I've started to revert back to the black -and-white TV days of my long lost youth when if Spurs won I watched, if they drew I watched - or not - depending on whether we gamely fought it out or ballsed it up, and if we lost I just said "sod it, I'm not having that". Apparently you regress to childhood as you get older - seems to be the case here anyway. Bring on Do Not Adjust Your Set and The Magic Roundabout then, at least The Bonzo Dog outfit, Dylan the Rabbit and Ermintrude the Cow entertained me immensely - more than I can say about Spurs right now. Crazy? Possibly, but no crazier than some of the stuff happening down The Lane recently. Nurse..... I'm ready for my medication now, thank you.

In Lamela's absence there is no one to kick the corners, except CE. Just don't laugh, Bazza47. It is not a joke, but the real reason. Trippier was another choice, but he is in Spain now. Corners, like a penalties, are designated to someone who can kick both sides and doesn't have required height/talent/skills to win in the air. Kane could, but shouldn't (same for Son) and was sick anyway. I have never liked how CE kicks corners, but he was the man and still is. LoCelso will be doing it, I suppose, but he had not a single chance to show it to date. I hope GLC starts against Red Star.

Similar to Spurs, Everton has under-performing players and good coach under pressure. But they do follow the model you want ENIC to follow. They do not expand the stadium and invest in new signing quite a lot window after window. Result-they are even worse than Spurs who didn't sign anyone.

    Their coach is
knowledgeable, so they adopted exactly what Pool was doing to us back in June. They were able to swamp Spurs to stand still, but couldn't do anything themselves. That is how one have to play Pochettino. Such tactic is, however, very demanding physically and mentally, so Spurs were waiting for opponents to let up at some point. Spurs succeeded, although the game was impossible to watch.
I would trade Dele's penalty for Son's red card.

I really wonder about MP's coaching staff (JP, MD, TJ)?? Can they not see what all of the supporters are seeing? Unfortunately, the manager has that disease - stubborn refusal to learn from experience - that affects so many strong-willed football managers/coaches and often leads to their dismissal - Wenger, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Sarri, Conte and others too numerous to count. When they could be pragmatic and make a humbling, mid-course correction, they would rather go down with the ship and not compromise their footballing principles. Poch is going to torpedo his footballing reputation and kill his chance to progress to a super club because he is too proud and invested in his philosophy which only works with a squad that meets a certain profile - young ambitious, physically fit players who will lay down their 'lives' for the team and the manager. If you are unable to change your tactics and setup then to fit a stale, over-the-hill squad, you need to change your whole player acquisition strategy. And I see no coherent footballing identity or play style in our current squad. If Levy gives Poch the whole season to sort things out, I'm wondering if I can even bear to watch more games like yesterday's match. I believe successful renewal is still possible but I don't see it happening with the current coaching & Club staffs. There is no reason to believe Poch will turn it round just because he took us to the CL final. Hate to say it.

True, because there is no tactic that would accommodate the out of form players. Players had to be waited for form re-gaining. If no success, change the players. Players are more expensive to buy than the manager. That is the reason for manager's firing no matter how accomplished the manger is/ was.

What utter twaddle spurporter comes out with from time to time . What has Ericsson’s poor dead ball kicking to do with the dross we are playing..there are at least 4or 5 other players who could put in corners not that they will come to anything. Spurporter seems to accept that change won’t happen and if it did things would get worse if it possibly could

How many goals we scored when the corners has been kicked by CE during his Spurs career ?
We would have no less chance to score if it is Gazzaniga or Sanchez who draw corners... CE has won just one defensive ball during the whole match and has no more genius in his foot. No nice touch. No nice pass (yes just one on first half to Son). No fight... No shoot. Nothing. We played with one player less vs pool and again yesterday ! As for Pocchettino we have to thank Eriksen for what he has done for our beloved Spurs until décembre 2018 but now it's time To stop this joke because we are going straight into the wall ! MP and CE have to leave the club. The sooner the better... ! Daniel..
Do what you have to do quickly ! COYS

There is no one available to replace either one. I agree both are at their worse as the Spurs coach and the formerly best MF. Just feel free to suggest the names.
If you ask me, I'd like to get Eddie Howe. Him and other coaches worth considering are employed. The caretaker wont do much. To get someone who is looking for the job at the moment? That would be David Moyes.

Well Dan I for one have got to the stage of really not looking forward to trekking to the Lane to put up with the pitch performance, intermingled with the VAR debacle. Mike Riley was a useless ref, now royally cocking up the use of technology. Watching Anthony Taylor on Sunday summed it all up for me - not fecking fit for purpose.

I agree 100%. Him and Grelish are the bad misses.
Yes, David Moyes was my sarcasm, isn't it clear? Mourinho and Alegri are out of Spurs range. Having large stadium doesn't make us large enough for those fellas. You can get only a washed up unemployed serial winner in here, like Benitez. Arsenal is as low as Mou would move for at this time. I am quite serious about Howe. He is Spurs type of manager. Plus, Chesnutboy will understand what he is saying at pressers

Yep - Far too many Summers and far too many of them as a Spurs fan. :)

I could live with Howe (if his wife didn't mind, obviously), but I worry that he's possibly an English Pochettino, good managing on a shoe-string, but not up to coping with the demands of competing at the very top - right up Levy's street, in fact, if a genuine top-flight manager is too rich for his miserly taste.
PS Getting my nom de plume (or nom de guerre) wrong doesn't help me to keep my xenophobic tendencies in check - Cheshunt might be a bit of a dump now, but it wasn't a bad place to grow up in the golden days when Spurs were at the top of the tree, and their old training ground was a short walk from my childhood home -try to get it right, si'l vous plait!

Chesnutboy - big har har at that when I saw it. Best laugh I've had since - well almost since the days of Do Not Adjust Your Set & The Magic Roundabout.

Yup - 'Chesnutboy' sounds like a junior member of the Tufty Club, or Peanut Man's crime-fighting sidekick - not the macho image I'm cultivating at all.

My apology, Cheshuntboy. Use of spell checker it was, not at all intentional.
Yes, English Pochettino. You are correct. You aren't xenophobe, it would a serious sin, but a bigot, which is routine among our generation. COYS!!
