I am surprised how many people think that Dembele was a great player for us.I agree he was technically good and strong but his final ball was rubbish and with his control he should have been scoring at least 10 goals a season instead of making an opening and then passing square or backwards.Unfortunately Dier has picked up the same trait even though he has less ability. My team would be although pochetino will never pick it is Gazzinga walker peters Sanchez alder rose verts Ericsson winks Ali moura lamella and verts in midfield holding

Modric never scored 10pl goals in a season, even Ce has only done it once or twice. Dembele type of players control the flow of the game and can receive the ball in tight situations and still find a way out.
I think all the Tottenham coaches including MP missed a trick by not playing Dembele as a Dm.

The crowing about Dembele is synonymous with actual success starved Spurs.
This guy spent 6+ years with us, probably had at best 2 consistent seasons, was never courted by any of the Big Clubs, has 1 of the poorest scoring or creating records going, whenever the chips were down he'd never drag the side up by the scruff of the neck, never showed any leadership qualities.
What is most unforgivable and why I vent angry about it is because talent wise he was much better than he ever put out on a pitch, imo he chose the safest areas and safest places to do his ''wizardry" which did little more than slow down play and keep possession I personally think he's wasted his god given talent.
Nothing more compelling than the fact he's slinked off for what 9mil to Shanghai Guano.

So many players have left spurs to win trophies at other clubs, i don't think an individual player can be blamed for a teams lack of success. Walker left won a couple of trophies and still get's slated by spurs fans as not being good.
Spurs problem is not the players, it's the board who appoint managers who don't win stuff and even say as long as you get top4 you don't need to win stuff.
Kane, dele, Ce will look at dembele and think why stick around? i am good enough to win stuff.
Some spurs fans think that the new stadium will create revenue to win stuff, by the time they pay off the debt it will be 2029 and i doubt this model will make spurs champions.

Today's game is not a must win, however, a win would open up a nice 4pt gap over the chavs.
Whoever spurs play it should be enough to get the win. Coys.

Already one down Lorente scores at wrong end a misses sitter at right end .Ali has given ball away at least 7 times already and we have created nothing .I can season starting to disintegrate .plenty of possession but no invention or passion.Lets see pochetino earn his reputation now as the master tactician By kicking a few arses

Delle wasn't good enough as his last 5-6 matches. Ok he scored but nothing before and after... Lamela is our ghost and Llorente is did nothing for the entire of the game. Apart scored for Fulham... So I hope that Levy Will help the team with at least 1 or 2 good new blood in the next few days. Our season depends on it...
Nice cross grog NKD ! COYS !

    Well 1 thing confirmed -

We are bang average without Kane & Son.

The plus is we came back from a goal down and in all seriousness nicked the win at the end.
Late winners are good for morale so hopefully that galvanises them mentally for a massive game midweek.

Yes we've a few injuries but this scraping the barrel for players is the result of sheer negligence

Well we did turn it round but that was unfair on Fulham and not because of a tactical masterclass from us.If there is a worse no9 in the premiership than Lorente I have yet to see him .Deli Ali scores but does nothing else lamela conspicuous by his abscence trippier never at right back when needed.Sanchez was great and did not deserve booking but the referee was conned by their centre forward who would not be a bad buy for tottenham .If Ali is not fit for Chelsea we must play Dier and push winks further forward and hopefully moura will be back which means Lorente on the bench

Llorente has played 300mins of pl football in 18 months, anyone expecting him to be pl ready without a run of 4-6 games is expecting a lot of a 32yo footballer.
The key to Lllorente is that you play too his strengths, early crosses into the box and high back to front balls, both situations is how spurs scored yesterday, the problem was that spurs didn't use them enough in the game and continued to play possession football allowing fulham to get back into defensive formation.
Going long and early to Llorente, whether from the wings or from the middle may cause the chavs a lot of problems. Lllorente should have scored at least one yesterday, i put those misses down to not being PL match sharp.

you can't replace Kane with Llorente. Llorente isn't the same player as Kane.....so fitting him into the team now probably means Moura has to play closer and off of him.
get the ball up to Llorente and ask Moura to play for the second ball.

going to be tough without Kane, Alli & Son.....we need big games from everyone else

Llorente does not even win the first ball. Useless.

Couldn't have put it better myself. He could have and should have, been a much better player. Goals definitely missing...says it all.

Nothing to do with Llorente not being PL ready. He missed two nailed on headers that were harder not to score than score. Don't blame him for OG though. No accident that he gets his goals against non-PL teams.
Noticed a pattern with Tripps though. From his right back position, he passes the ball inside to a midfielder to carry forward. A very straight forward pass usually. The Utd goal came from this pass going to an oppo player, then yesterday he did it again which led to Fulham having a penalty shout declined. Mmm!

Andy Carrol is more sicknote than D. Anderton was!

I don't understand the ignoring jansen- he is more a harry kane type of player and i think he will come good somewhere for someone

Honestly mate I find the situation bizarre to say the least. Kane, son and now alli out. Llorente struggling and moura not fit. Still won't give the lad a chance and looks set to be sold or loaned out and not going to replace him with another CF. Give the lad a chance or use him until the summer at least.
