André Villas-Boas blew his £100 million budget from the Gareth Bale move to Real Madrid on 7 players with zero premier league experience.

Christian Eriksen is the obvious choice for any Tottenham fan would choose as their choice as the best signing from the summer transfer window as he has saved us from a few humiliating defeats, most recently the 3-3 draw at West Brom, which Tim Sherwood described his goal as ‘Berkampesque’.

Record transfer fees from Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela left Spurs fans in fury as they failed to live up to their expectations. A language barrier has been a great problem for these players to settle in to the North London club.

An injury to Lamela has kept him out of action for a large slice of the season therefore hasn’t had much time to get used to Premier League football.

Will Louis Van Gaal be the correct successor of Tim Sherwood?

Many rumour have risen as to who Louis Van Gaal could bring to Spurs:

    Joel Veltman – Ajax
    Jordy Clasie – Feyenoord
Patrick Aanholt - Vitesse (on loan from chelsea)
    Davy Klaassen – Ajax

Rafael van der Vaart – Hamburg

All in all here is what I think of our new signings

Christian Eriksen - Started slow but improved a lot and will be a great player
Etienne Capoue - Started slow, continued slowly
Nacer Chadli - had good chances, played well once or twice
Paulinho - Started rather strong, dropped a bit
Vlad Chiriches - been steady throughout the season, needs to improve
Erik Lamela - showed a little promise, slacked a lot and then got injured
Roberto Soldado - Started slow, showed promise, tries as hard as he can when he's playing, need to improve

Don't be so sure that LVG chooses Spurs. The Mancs have talked to him and Arse have been sniffing too. Reckon we might lose out like with players.

What did i tell you all in other posts that LVG would choose the Mancs. It seems he was holding out for it. Can't blame him - better setup than us by miles. Never mind we'll take the leftovers as we always do coaches and players alike.
