    The door has closed on another season at White Hart Lane, and this particular campaign has proved to be one of the less memorable that the Lilywhites have given us.

    Kicked off by selling our best player for an astronomical fee, the season came with numerous hammerings, moments of intense embarrassment, a managerial change-over and ultimately a below-par finish in the Europa League places. Along with our fixtures with West Ham.

    At times it looked like that wouldn’t even be the outcome, especially in the encounters with Liverpool and eventual champions Manchester City. If it hadn’t been for the exploits of David Moyes over at Old Trafford, Spurs would have been considered the laughing stock of the league having scored 2 and conceded 27 against the Champions League-placed finishers. Plus there was Tim Sherwood’s gilet.

    However the season had its moments.

    There was Paulinho’s 95th minute away at Cardiff, the 8-7 penalty shoot-out win against Hull City and our 2-1 win away at Manchester United. There came the emergence of Nabil Bentaleb and Harry Kane, with debuts for Milos Vejikovic and Alex Pritchard. There were Christian Eriksen, Hugo Lloris and there was Sandro’s braided beard.

    On Twitter, we’ve had more meltdowns than ever before. The ecstasy when the rumours about Sherwood punching Soldado after the Liverpool defeat will never be reproduced, but there were times when it was probably best to stay away from a keypad. No team has as much fun on Twitter as Spurs fans do.

    And so, after our impressive final day victory against a lacklustre Aston Villa, the fun continued. And the fun was known as “3 word season reviews”. Here are some examples…

    @DannyMarquis_ “Same Old Story.”
    @Shem_THFC “Load of ****”
    @SimplyStefario “Shocking At Times”
    @solly_mark “Can't Be Bothered”
    @Gentleman_THFC “Bombastic but fruitless.”
    @Jared_THFC “Sherwood's a knob”
    @pooley11 “below expectations...AGAIN”
    @jaymobbsbeal “better than united”
    @_j4mesy “Ben ta leb”
    @lwilliams81341 “goals by penalties”

    So, keep the trend going! Comment your 3 word season review in the comments section. But remember:

    Tottenham til’ Death.

    Here’s to 2014/15!
