Pep talking through his rear end as usual where are the academy players and he has their best striker on the bench in case.we will need to be at our best.Reiley and mcatee the only players not regular premiership and we have Verner again and a midfielder playing full back

I said we could win this earlier but if he keeps on playing a midfielder at full back then we will be caught because City have realised the weakness and keep attacking it.We we’re dominant now we can’t get out of our own half.Get a full back on least

Looks like Ang did take it seriously. Playing a tighter defense It’s half time so I know what’s going to happen but.. Werner scores kulu 2 assists Brave again dropping madders for sar has paid off

What made me think Verner had changed one goal followed by 2 bad misses. Now Davies on for Romero .I am praying for a lucky break we need it badly . Gray is not a full back and never will be why does Ange keep plcking him

Well we won at last but how much hard work is it watching us hang on even when city put 3 teenagers on.Injuries to Van and Romero before Villa not good .hopefully Romero was only precaution. Why is gray at full back he is a good midfielder??

I think that is what paying wages gets you......
If you pay Haalands wages..... he probably scores a hat trick for either side.....

If you didn't have Werner but paid more wages to a better player.....he scores a hat trick

The young lad who played up front for City may get there.....but as I say.... Haarland wins them the game

City are a good team...... they nearly always have a forward pass in between the lines..... no matter wo plays for them.... so it's a good win

I hope you’re not going to be this negative every match for the next 3 years just because you went all in to declare Ange is rubbish and should be immediately sacked?

As for Gray … we don’t have many fullbacks but we’ve got a lot of midfielders. He’s versatile … hence that’s where he’s getting a game presently. I don’t think anyone considers him a long-term option there.

Very true … City’s ‘academy’ is an endless production line of quality players. We had a couple of teenagers on the pitch at the end as well I believe. A good result on any day.

.Yes I don’t think we will win anything with Ange and he won’t last 3+years wherever you dragged that from.Davies and Spence are full backs and of cause Porro is as well so why play a midfielder there. If doku or Grealish we’re fit we would have got beaten. if you go back a few posts you will see I picked us to win tonight So not as negative as you want me to be

Thanks for the compliment because that means I see the wood from the trees and don’t fawn when we win a game after being so so poor against palace

It’s not a case of fawning, I said we were **** against palace and now we beat the best team in the league , I just thought for once you may have looked for positives from that result and been happy.
Heaven forbid you should be excited because we won the game, like most supporters would be!

I think this is a fair argument to be had … does Ange have the experience/clout to manage at this level?

There have been plenty of examples of good managers unable to go to the next level. Pochettino looked out of his depth at PSG. Potter was the same at Chelsea. Neil Warnock is a great manager in the Championship but his bedside manner falls short above that.

Ange has managed/managed against some quality players, but Spurs would be the strongest team he’s ever had it his disposal. So it’s a valid question. But from what I can tell, have seen and heard, Ange’s persona does inspire from his players those two most important attributes: fear and respect. His reach and knowledge of the game is also high-end; his mentor was one of the greatest footballers of all time.

So despite his long and unusual path to the EPL (he’s really not much different to Wenger in that regard), I think Ange has found his correct level as a manager.

I can only comment on what you say Preed. I can’t comment on guessing what you do and say away from this forum.
The above was your first reaction to Spurs giving City their only loss this season in all competitions!!

I know we have the best record against city over the last 4 years strange. World .That is why I tipped us to win before the game .which you don’t acknowledge. We just have to show the same
commitment against Villa and onwards and then I will let hope bloom again

You said we had a good chance if city played their second eleven. They didn’t (admittedly it wasn’t their absolute best) but we beat them anyway.
Commentary team was going on about how good city were for being so young. Yet the average age was 26-23. We had the youngest!!

I know I’m not going to convince you otherwise and I’m beating a dead horse. We won. We won against the best team in the league and we should be positive
Bring on villa , guarantee if we lose then the forum will be busy and you can come out with a thousand told you so’s! Worse than that my wife is a brummie!

As you have said previously, at least you are posting and different opinions are good.

I’m disappointed in you preed. You are now literally grabbing at things to try and belittle our recent victory against them. move on!
