Harry Kane & Martin Chivers

Are there any other "older" spurs fans that remember Bill Nichs teams and can see a lot of similarities between Harry Kane's style and that of Martin Chivers ?

 

I do ! Chivers was and still is my fav player. I've followed Tottenham since they won the FA Cup 1967 and he joined the following year. From then on: Tottenham Till I Die !!

 

Me too. They even look alike (ignoring Chiv's lack of front teeth on match days later on in his career)

 

My nephews were comparing Kane to Sheringham. I said that he reminds more of Chivers. They looked at me blankly and asked who? A severe lack in their football education. Yes, Kane is so very like Chivers, moves, heads, dribbles and shoots just like him and has a real eye for goal. Hopefully will score many goals for both Spurs and England too.
