Spurs did as per plan: 2 defenders, 1 goalie, 2 wide MFs. So our A team is complete. It is true that Spurs B team is of Championship quality. I do not think we can afford anything better. We aren't Pool, City, United or Cheslea. Neither LCFC or WHU which we are competing with for Europa League have an equally good teams B.

In the PL only City do feature equally premium Team B. Chelsea and Pool – sort of, not all positions. United are better than us, but only up front, pretty thin on defensive 6.

I am not ENIC supporter, but did you know, Felon, what the Emerson's release close in his contract with Barcelona was? Just guess, please. Okay, it was 300 thousand Euros. If it isn't a successful signing, I don't know what is. Do you?

It was very surprising that we didn’t pick up a few last min additions…the names mentioned were great (Bissouma, Neves & Traore). That was an opportunity for ENIC an Levy to really make a statement of intent but sadly ended up being all talk. It was great to get rid of who we have but do we really think terminating aurier was good business when 12 hours earlier he was linked with £15-£18m moves overseas? I wanted him gone more than most but not without a fee. He was at least useful for a swap somewhere.
The reality for us is there has been some improvement from Dier and Sanchez this season, which is great but not good enough. We still need another CB. We really need a creative MF as a priority and in an ideal world another decent ball winner. Up front, an addition on the right as a minimum because Bergwijn and Moura just aren’t quite right.
Disappointing is the best way to describe it….could have been so good but ended up just being a bit disappointing. Let’s hope we can keep squeezing out 1-0 wins until Christmas, if we can, Nuno will continue to be doing a great job.

€300k? Are you sure? We overpaid by €24.5m in that case…did you mean €300m?

Millions, millions it is. I said it wrong. No one would ever come up with sum, obviously. Just an indication that Spurs got a true Barcelona player, not just a marginal prospect.

Well, Levy won't do another Ndombele. He will not buy a well established players for 50 millions or more. I know it is frustrating, but Levy wants to make profit on players, after they leave. Emerson and Gil are the typical Spurs buys from now on, IMO.

The two big things to resolve were:
    1. Kane wanting away
    &
    2. Ndombele
One was sorted until January at least. It would have been better if that had been sorted for longer and the other sorted as well.

How many players to buy and how much to spend to get a squad as good as Chelsea?
How many players to buy and how much to spend to get a squad as good as Man City?
How many players to buy and how much to spend to get a squad as good as Man Utd?
How many players to buy and how much to spend to get a squad as good as Liverpool?

Spurs might have to go back to the transfer-strategy from the time before Spurs were in the top 4. Not forever but maybe for one year or two.

The priorities for outgoings might have been:
    1. non-HG not playing regularly on high wages would be best to get off the books, ideally by selling
2- HG not playing regularly on high wages would be best to get off the books, ideally by selling

Lamela, Toby & Sissoko were at least not necessary to pay to get off the books.
Hart was sold, Aurier was paid to leave presumably as there was no place in the squad for him.

I was surprised about the paying off of Aurier, maybe this new guy is so good and the opportunity to sign him would be gone unless it was done this way.

Old were replaced by young and it looks like the rebuild is happening. For me the window was about as expected. Could have been better, could have been worse.

Just can’t believe Dier is among the 6 players nominated for player of the month. How far has the premiership gone backwards

A little like John Terry getting praise for his last ditch sliding or blocking tackles over the years......
Bobby Moore would probably say..... that lad is out of position so he has to do the theatrics.

Maybe it is time to start discussing the January window already?

Kane might be on his way out, I believe there is an open spot for a non-HG. So what kind of striker would be needed/wanted?

    -Target man?
    -Quick on the counter?

    Who might be of interest?

By the time January comes do you think we will be in a top four because if not who would want to join us unless Levy breaks the habit of a life time and pays higher wages than anyone else,Dream on.Come January it will be the usual Second class buys and who knows if Nuno will still be here

Not a chance that Spurs will be in the top4. That being said I do believe that there are good players who'd come to Spurs for the money and for the exposure so they could get a move to a bigger club.

We don't participate in the January transfer window.

I'm sure we will sales wise if some fool pays what Levy wants

So now that Newcastle have had a takeover to become the richest club in the world eclipsing City & Chavs plus Utd & Pool where is our latest rebuild/project/plan for the future supposed to be taking us?
We only have another 3-4 years of Son & Kane at their peak (if they stay) with no real future for this dead club now.
So as I said from the start this con we were saving for a stadium (to then just borrow) the stadium was gonna be a game Changer (still on a sell to buy strategy) we were finally gonna compete (hoping for a top half finish) and that we buy for the future n create stars is and always has been a complete con.
Still would like to hear from those "you're negative, enjoy the ride, look at the bigger picture, remember the 90s, don't wanna do a Leeds, ENIC will sell up end game...." absolute knob heads who came on here regularly giving us all their pretentious bs how do you see this self sustainable Stadium FC dream going from here?

Have you not noticed Felon that lots of well known so called fans have stopped coming on here as they can no longer defend the indefensible. But they will still fill the stadium making Levy carry on fooling us

Let’s hope that Newcastle offer £180m for Kane so that we can use the money to sign the players we need to help us improve….January will be the best hope we have of having a transfer battle between City and Newcastle to drive his price up so need the club to use that to our advantage because we will soon watch his value dwindle

Mije Ashley could always buy out Levy! ha ha
