It's a question we've asked many times over the last few years Felon , and only time will reveal the answer ... How long will we be saddled with the debt from the new stadium and when are we going to see the financial benefit .. Don't get me wrong , the new stadium is a big step in the right direction and a necessary one
for the club moving forward but it might be some time before we see the benefits .. The debt is astronomical and rising all the time , ( whoever came up with the first estimate of 450ish mill needs a change of career ) so god knows how long we'll be carrying that noose around our necks ..

For all our failings this season so far , a win today and we,re level with **** bags and 1 point behind a team who a lot of people seem to be raving about .. We will eventually drop out of top 4 contention if we don't pick it up obviously but we're still there at the moment .. Don't get me wrong i,m not taking Burnley for granted at all , all signs are it will be a difficult game for sure , a test we are far from certain to pass but one hopefully we come out the right side of ...

I know a lot is made of Pochs record away from home against our top 6 rivals and there's no getting away from how poor it is but everyone struggles in these games , I can't imagine anyone of the current managers records are particularly good in these games bar Peps this season .. Mourinho's is equally pathetic as is Wenger's I'd imagine , Klopps and Contes are probably better , Klopp had good record against top 6 last season but it was woeful against bottom teams and they were lucky in the end to scrape a top 4 spot so it ain't worth much in that instance , it ain't so hot this year tho ... Look I guess im saying all these top 6 teams generally don't loose many at home so generally we all or most of us have rubbish away records against each other .. Not excusing Poch here but it does need to be kept in context ..

Time is against me at the moment , I keep an eye on whatevers going on around here , I just don't have the time to contribute as much as I'd like for the time being ( you're not missing much by the way , my twopence worth isn't exactly enlightening or anything ) but keep up the good work lads ... Fair play to all who contribute , especially those who start the blogs , Felon and Bazza have been carrying that can big time this season ... Merry Christmas to all , have a good one , enjoy as much as possible regardless of what the footy brings , life is short .... C.O.Y.S .....

Well that was as good as I've seen from us this season , forget the result just like last week forget the result , it was the manner we went about it ... Hopefully now we can move forward and start performing like we all know we can ... What hurt me more then anything last week was the way we went about it .. Some were saying forget about it , it's City they're just diff class to everyone else and that's very true but our overall performance and petulance wasn't acceptable ... Tonight we were at it from the first minute , there was a crispness and a sharpness about us that's been missing so far this season and only for some really poor finishing or poor options Burnley would have taken a proper pasting and in fairness to them that doesn't happen to them too often .. Like us last week tonight the scoreline flattered Burnley .. Onwards and upwards hopefully , afterall we all know one swallow doesn't make a summer but there were plenty of positives there for a change ... Enjoy the few days all and C.O.Y.S .....

IMO Sanchez was outstanding. He has been since he joined. The 'KING' now has a Prince! Hurry back Toby then we'll climb back up.

Today I'm happy - a welcome Sunday out from my little 6 hour weekly moonlighter that augments my well-earned and hard-worked-for pension; I hear your applause lads, that'll do, I'm getting emotional. Yes - we gave Beernleh a bit of a seeing-to and I'm in more joyous mode than I was after 4 minutes of the game hearing Alli had been booked for the "orange card" offence and waiting for his next foul. Hearing, because I no longer have the "access" to SKY and BT that I've been enjoying this last few years. However, enough of that nonsense. Back on track or not boys ? Hope so and certainly a decent performance but possibly could have been, by all accounts, more emphatic than Harry's three. My dear old dad used to say - "max points lad, forget the score" and I'll go with that. I'm happy as a pig in s*it then, what's the point picking negatives, so I won't.
What do I want Santa to bring me ? If I were a Celeb (I ain't) or a politician (no again) I'd say World Peace or something vacuous, but I'll go with "I have no idea, my life is all but complete, but some tasty additions to the squad in The Window will do, along with a jar or two with Faaamilee over the Festive". Another prolific striker, with pace please, a creative Midman and a back-up Reducer in the middle will do for starters.
That will do for this little missive until there's something proper to really complain about. Have a good time y'all and be good. Oh yes .... COYS

A Very Merry Christmas to Spurs fans wherever you are.

That was a much better performance across the board. How good is that lovely lad Harry Kane...10/10.

I'll be there on Tuesday hoping for him to break two year records records - Shearers' 36 and Messi's 54. To wish him to get one or two is easy, but you wouldn't rule it out would you. Well done H, how good are you.

Sanchez was so strong, and he's only 21. Brilliant.

Dele was much better. On another day, with another ref he might not have been there to deliver the penalty and the HK assist.

Thought Sonny was quiet, Sissoko ....a curate's egg or what. Apart from one silly lost possession I though Aurier did okay.

A good all around team cake, topped with lots of HK icing on the top.

    COYS

Was lucky enough to get a last minute ticket. Very good performance made Burnley look very average. Sanchez and jv were solid. Aurier was very good and now needs a run of games as first choice right bk. Sissoko was so so so poor. Not just his dreadful double miss but his distribution also. At one nil he was getting hooked for the moose I'm sure but we scored the second and I think poch gifted him a full 90 to boost his confidence which looks shot.
HK what more can we say. Two fantastic finishes and a peno.

I'm with you Big Fran on Aurier. I've seen enough, and now I'd like to see more.
