You're obsession with Jose is an illness, didn't u blame our performance v Brighton on him?
You can barely write a post without mentioning him.

Just trying to figure out what your infatuation is with Jose... I mean that's what's this is all about with you isn't it?

Absolutely tore shreds off Poch... gave him credit for nothing... yet never had one single bad word to say about Jose despite him gouging the club for millions of pounds and playing the worst style of football in living memory

Now Conte is making him... and by extension you... look rather bad you don't have a single good word to say about him

I find it all very interesting

There's being balanced & fair, then there's outright hating someone n holding them to standards way above everyone else n howling non stop hypocritically because you don't hold others to the same bar.
For instance Pochettino who for years had a much better side than his predecessors was comfortably excused for piss poor performances and going out to **** teams in comps etc.
He left an absolute car crash behind for others to sort out yet that's brushed under the carpet and never spoken of.
To the deranged like you it was all on Jose.
Then make up for it all you're gassing up Conte who has been no better whatsoever when you look at the stats.
N that's what I point out but strange people like yourself can't deal with that reality.
And like I say every other post you're on about him aswell as naming yourself after him n that is incredibly weird.

We just need to hope we get some kind of offer and get him out as he really is that bad. I can’t believe someone at our club watched him and thought he would be a good signing. Every week he does something during a game that makes you think he can’t possibly be a footballer

Tim Sherwood (1.91), Mauricio Pochettino (1.89), Antonio Conte (1.87), Andre Villas-Boas (1.83) and Harry Redknapp (1.74) have averaged more points per game than Mourinho (1.64).

A whole .23 difference its quite clear that there's not much difference in all them point averages unless you're trying to say Tim Sherwood is the best manager we've had in the modern era

The point is that you keep referring to stats but if you use them, it’s no better picture for JM than if you simply look at how we played football under him (which was the worst in years).

If the stats you often refer to are accurate, as you say below, Sherwood was awesome and we all know that’s rubbish which kind of defeats your point on us if you use them

Fair and balanced? what has been fair and balanced about your appraisal of our squad these last two years? indeed your appraisal of our most recent managers?

Pochettino did not have a better squad than his predecessors... I'm not sure where that stupid idea came from but it's not objective in the slightest... he was almost fired during his first term and he didn't start to find consistent success until two thirds of the squad he inherited had been shipped into football oblivion... they are the facts

Yes his final term ended poorly and abruptly... but when you consider the body of his work... winningest Spurs league manager in over a 100 years... best league season in 60 odd years... greatest finish in Europe... ever... then it is obvious why he is mostly held in high esteem around the club

And no... he didn't leave a mess of a squad... Jose achieved a Champions League finish in the 20 odd games he managed with those players... so you're contradicting yourself again... by the way I actually gave Jose credit for that even though his football was a bloody eyesore

Last term was the very worst Spurs season in many a year on every level... the statistics back that up... the manager was very poor while he mismanaged those at his disposal... as a reward he received a hefty severance packet at the club's expense

Again you didn't criticise Jose once and neither have you praised Conte in the slightest even though he obviously has done well stepping in mid term... the statistics indeed back all this up

So yes I find your blatant bias all very interesting and why I consider you to be synonymous with Jose... he's the horse you tied your wagon to for some strange reason... and the one that still colours all your nonsensical contradictory arguments

.23 per game is a considerable difference... that's almost 9 points a season... the difference between us finishing 7th and 3rd last season... so a major difference in outcome

Appreciate you sharing the stats... they are interesting in themselves... but league record is king... particularly these days with the Champions League being the Holy Grail that it is

League football is also standardised... ie. there is far less variance in strength of opposition... so it is the general benchmark of performance

Whether Sherwood is innately a good manager or not is obviously debatable... he was only an interim hire at Spurs... but he did well for us... reinstating Adebayor and getting a significant tune out of him was a masterstroke that not every manager would or could have done

  12. Guesty Guest

the simple view is that are weaker players let us down...... and all of the managers have had some

currently.... starting any of..... Royal, Doherty, Dier, Sanchez Davies, Winks.....will always cause issue.....

And you can go back through previous managers and say the same.

Poch had arguably the best squad as the number of weaker players in the starting 11 were fewer

Frightening to see PSG are sacking Pochetino and apparantly want Conte.I for one do not want Pochetino back to be Levy’s whipping boy.I know he has just won his first trophy but I could have managed that at PSG.Would that mean the reinstatement of Winks as a player and Dier being made captain.Levy will love it because he won’t be forced to spend

Although Pochetino won the french league I had not realised until today that he failed to win an away game against the top 6 in the french league and this with a squad of internationals and a front 3 unprecented in club football. His stock is going down and maybe so is his inflated reputationPlease Levy don’t consider replacing Conte with him

  15. Jose's Ghost Guest

Not that it particularly matters but Pochettino won 3 trophies at PSG... the league... the French Cup... and the Champions Trophy

  16. Jose's Ghost Guest

They say you can never go home

I'd be surprised if Pochettino returns to Spurs... I'm not sure what he could possibly hope to gain here that he hasn't already achieved... a domestic cup? but it would be an interesting storyline at least and we could do a lot worse

Not sure if you saw any of PSG this season but their forward line is the laziest front three in world football... so the personnel never fit the manager's preferred style in the slightest... I can only imagine how watered down his famed fitness sessions were just so as not to offend any of his divas

Equally their motivation was only ever for one competition... they basically sleep walked their way through Ligue 1

PSG are one of the most overrated sides in football and until they stop buying big names and start buying players to suit a philosophy/system, that won’t change….irrelevant of who coaches them

  18. Jose's Ghost Guest

As a manager when the success of your entire season essentially comes down to a handful of knockout games then the position is a poisoned chalice... pays quite well though I hear lol

  19. Guesty Guest

.......haven't you just summed up CL football??

  20. THFC Guest

That is true for PSG, Chelsea and Real Madrid….there’s a theme there….each are at least £1 billion in debt and somehow manage to get around FFP rules. City would be added to the list pre-guardiola but they seem to have some loyalty with him (despite the continual CL failures). I hope none of them win anything and would rather see Villarreal win the CL this season
