  1. If Spurs 10-0, Cheshunt Boy would still look at the negatives

In fairness here anyone who chooses to believe this season has panned out exactly as planned with the sheer negligence the club has acted with is severely deluded.
13 losses in the league would not usually end in a top 4 finish had it not been for the abysmal display Utd & Scum put on (could include Chavs who still finished above us) so a huge slice of fortune helped in the league this year.
Then if we get on to the CL no one is complaining about getting to the final it is after all a knock out competition but again how we've muddled our way through that aswell, makes for great drama but again lady luck has been hugely on our side. We've only actually won half the games we've played, W6 D2 L4 and that form has squeaked us into the final.

Top 4 and CL final minimum can't be knocked any top 6 side would like that garanteed, but it also has to have some perspective on it. If anyone thinks our overall squad and football we've produced is worthy of these things I'd have to say are severely rose tinted.

Just because someone looks beyond happy clapping when they summarise what's gone on does not mean they're negative and won't be happy if we lift the cup, something tells me Cheshuntboy will be 1 of the happiest people in the land if we win it (behind me of course).

If MP wins the cup, all is forgiven, he'll be a legend even if he's a little bit lucky.
Spurs are at that regularly occurring stage where if they get 3-4 quality players they could challenge for the Pl. I hope the signings this TW make up for the lack of activity over the previous two. Coys.

Very underwhelmed at how slow and ponderous we have been again in the market and some of the names bore me to death jack Clarke Grealish dani cebellos malcom gomes.. Zzzz. You look and see how decisive dortmund have been already.

Did u expect something else then???

Poch has gotta have a chat about the new 'project' , poker has to be played with Toby & CE , then there's the customary cryptic language followed by how happy we are before hiding all summer then a quick rummage through the bargain bins and even barter on that.

Not really mate just hoped for more. Sessagnon looks a really simple deal to get over the line and still waiting.

If we won 10-o by luck, or cheating, or by sheer fluke, then I'd certainly be negative, because pretending that we're better than we really are is totally pointless - weaknesses (of which we've got many) aren't addressed, second-best is accepted, and the cycle of under-achievement continues - we'll never progress if we don't face the truth (and I'm sorry if you're happier being deluded).

Our transfer windows are like pulling teeth , it's painful enough watching it unfold let alone hoping for something significant to happen.
Unfortunately it's the same story every season , dragging our heels and posturing but essentially treading water.

I am being foolishly optimistic this time round as there is no way even Levy could contemplate going another window without strengthening the team.
No announcements will be made before the Cl final, However that doesn't mean deals have not been done.
Of the names mentioned N'dombele and Bale would be considered top draw and would be in most starting 11's.
Clarke Grealish dani cebellos malcom gomes, would all be squad players Clarke is 18/19yo so one for the future.
Don't know how good Grealish is now but he was average the last time he was in the prem.
Cebellos has been compared to Tom caroll, enough said.
Malcolm is still young and was touted as a future star similar to Moura, could be a decent option off the bench?
I like Gomes he is technically sound and confident on the ball with a good passing range.
He does give away silly fouls and needs to cover the ground better, however, he is the type of player who will strip fitter under MP. Good option of the bench and good enough to start games.
I have watched Sessagnon on several occasions
and haven't seen anything to justify buying him.

I think Poch has told Levy what he needs, there's no need to make it public. It's really up to Levy, spend what it takes to compete, or we'll lose one of the top managers in the world.

We don't need to buy 100 mil players, our wage structure needs to change; so that we can hold on to Eriksen and Toby if possible. As well as attract top talents like Zaha and so forth. Youri from Leicester is another who would be great. Gomes is a good player too, 4 or 5 key additions can really make us contenders.

It's really now or never, back the manager... he's been fantastic for us and deserves it! COYS!

If spurs were playing Barca i wouldn't be optimistic, however, spurs can beat pool.
MP has a full squad to chose from so no excuse's there. MP needs to pick the right players to win the game and hopefully he doesn't play a back 5. Coys

You're leaving Eriksen out? Come on! Think Kane should come off the bench if we need him, I'd definitely start Moura.

Eriksen has been poor in the season run in and Kane 100 per cent starts for me. Best no9 in world football.

With our midfield injuries, he's had to play out of his position a few times just as Dele. On the biggest stage, is when we need him to unlock Liverpool's defense. Kane can't play the whole game, might as well have him in the critical moments of the game. I can guarantee you that, Poch will definitely start Eriksen.
